2019 Volkswagen Tiguan consumer reviews

Ever since I could drive I wanted a Tiguan. Then finally, was able to purchase one. But from the very beginning- it showed problems. Only 3 years old and it already has problems with the engine. VW has not been helpful whatsoever. I use to be a fan of VW cars- not anymore. I've been reading a lot about the Tiguan and it seems to be me that it was cheaply made and it shows.

Love the styling and attention to detail. Great fuel economy for a vehicle this size, so can be a bit underpowered at times. 3rd row is a bonus!

The engine was totaled because a spark plug broke inside the motor voided the warranty dealership is not on the owners side they will come up with any excuse to not help us out!

I love all the features. The large touch screen is a big plus. I have the SE model. And the truck space is big. If you keep the car in normal mode, the pick up is a little lagging. But if you switch it to Sport mode it solves that problem. We got the third row of seats. It's good for having to taking extra passengers in a pinch. Not a lot of leg room.

This car is Exactly what I wanted. It is so comfortable, easy to drive, and I love all the extra features— especially the great sunroof.

I love Volkswagens! It's the only car maker I have ever purchased for myself, and this is my fourth one. I have had a Jetta Wagon, a Jetta, a Passat and now my 2019 Habanera orange Tiguan affectionately named "Tigger". All have been great cars, but my Tiguan is by far my favorite. It is fun to drive. Large, but easy enough to drive in the city - where I do most of my driving commuting to and from work. Most of all, it really turns heads and people ask me about it all of the time. I think they either love the color or hate it, but most I have encountered love it - and I do too!

This vehicle replaced a beloved Audi that was mostly a winter car and will also be mostly a winter vehicle. So far, (it only has 500 miles on it) it has served its purpose well. It is a nice driving vehicle. It responds when you stomp on the gas and mostly has all the amenities that I like. It handles the snow well. All in all it's a good, responsive, fun to drive vehicle.

I recently leased a Volkswagen Tiguan. So far so good! Drives smoothly. Feels more spacious than it looks. Great gas mileage. Although the third row is tight, it’s nice to have for when it’s needed.

This vehicle purchase was a long time in the making, I researched all comparable size SUv's. This VW Tiguan is amazing, drives nice, very reliable, very comfortable, good in all types of weather, and beautiful. This suv is really nice. Has a nice easy to use infotainment screen. Power is lacking as the engine just doesnt have the push im use too. It still does the job though. Interior front and back seat is roomy. I have the se model. Only thing it needs is to get rid of the halogen bulbs and go led. I would definitely recommend. Great 72 month bumper to bumper warranty.
