2005 Acura RL review
This car has been amazing in every way, has been low cost to upkeep and never had any mechanical issues whatsoever the Acura name rings true with my experience it’s a luxury car and it’s the best bang for your buck. Very spacious very fast when you need it to be an overall great car that I would purchase all over again.

2005 Acura RL review
I bought an 05 RL used in 09 with 65K miles. I traded it in in 2016 with 271K miles on it. Other than normal wear and maintenance, I never had any issues. The only issue I had was the keyless door on both front doors went out. A $500 (each door) replacement as it shorted out a lot of other systems. That aside, no issues. Awesome gas mileage on the highway for an AWD car and brake wear was outstanding. It was starting to rust a bit by the windshield and just time to move on. Pretty sure it's still on the road according to my Acura dealer (went to a 2016 MDX).

The car is loaded with options that I don't how work yet like everything voice activated. The only drawback is the gas mileage is in the middle to upper twenties but the research I did showed that the utterly reliable.

2007 Acura RL review
Just hit 150,000 miles on this vehicle and it has been just regular maintenance. Needed a little aligning once in awhile which caused some excessive wheel wear on the inner toes of the tires, but other than that it has been a fantastic. Even for being 10 years old the technology is still solid, GPS the best I have ever used.

This car met every need of mine except for the obvious bad gas mileage at about 19 mpg on average. I added third party auto start and Bluetooth for music and calling and it literally is amazing

2005 Acura RL review
My first ever Acura. I love all the characteristics this vehicle offer especially on curvy roads playing with the paddle shifter. One have to drive it to experience the rush with the potent V6 putting out 300 HP. One can only imagine what the 2019 RL has to offer. Buy one!!

2009 Acura RL review
The RL after 135,000 miles is still a great car and still looks contemporary. Ungaraged, its finish has held up amazingly well. With SHAWD it's a winter car that goes anywhere under any conditions. Ihas most all of the trick features of today's cars and with the key fob in my wallet just touching the handles opens and locks it. An added bonus I've never forgotten my wallet and left home without my driver's license or credit cards. The sound system is good, the nav works flawlessly, pairing the phone easy the bluetooth perfect. It has a ton of standard equipment like rear window shades that have come in handy. I've never kept a car this long but to get the same level of reliability under these harsh conditions is up for grabs and a car with all these features is 75K up. It's only issue is the 5 speed transmission that has offered no problems other than not seamless. The interior does show a few signs of wear. The driver's door armrest looked to be leather but is actually rubber that's worn through to a checked cloth backing and the dash under the glove box has bubbled. A job for Dr. Pimple Popper? It's got enough power for everyday driving, gets a solid 25 on the highway but around this hilly town with no stop and go traffic, between 18-19. Truth is, at 82,I hope to drop dead before the car.

2006 Acura RL review
I am a die hard Acura RL fan. I have had 6 RL's, (96, 99, 2000, 01, 04 and an 06) all purchased used and I drove each of them 2-5 years. 2 of them I got more when I sold them than what I paid for them. I can not say enough good about them, The ONLY iss ues I had were brakes which I considered normal maintenance. You can not go wrong with this car.

2004 Acura RL review
I purchase my 2004 Acura RL in 2008 with 52000 miles for $17,500. Per the car fax history, it was leased for 3 years and repossessed from the 2nd owner after several months. I had routine maintenance including a timing belt replacement and never had a problem with anything. Unfortunately, we had a destructive hail storm in April of 2024 and the insurance company "totaled" it. We didn't want a salvaged title and sold it to someone who knew the true value of the vehicle. In short, imy '04 RL gave me 16 years of excellent performance!
