Audi Hawthorne Follow up and review. A few weeks ago, I was hit by a speeding stolen car, head on, while stopped at a light in Ft. Lee, NJ . My car was demolished and an ambulance took me to the hospital. The ordeal was overwhelming!. My situation required me to find a used car, ASAP to get to therapy etc. After looking online at hundreds of cars that I was unable to get to, and seemed shady anyway, I found a car online at Audi Hawthorne (the one in NY, not in NJ!) and someone willing to be extra helpful! I e-mailed an inquiry, and Perry Snitkin in sales answered immediately. I explained my situation to Perry, he was was patient and understanding, he spend time making me feel comfortable with the sale, (which involved paperwork in two different states.) We went back and forth with phone calls, e-mails, and texts, etc. I couldn't show up as promised one day, last minute, and he never lost his patience. His empathy and efforts made me realized he was a real person, and I trusted him! All this for a car that was a trade-in and he was NOT going to make a fortune on! There were similar cars much closer to me, but I felt good about this one because Perry answered all my questions. I got an Uber, went there, and bought the car on the spot. It was everything he said it was, and more. I would give him and the dealership 10 stars if I could. The car was perfect and the warranty they give is exceptional. There were no "surprises" and I still can't find anything wrong with the car! Driving the car home was my new start after a nightmare! We went back and forth with phone calls, e-mails, and texts, dozens of times, I even had a problem and couldn't show up as promised one morning. And he NEVER got aggravated. I realized he was a not a xx salesman, and I trusted him! All this for a car that was a trade in and he was NOT going to make a fortune on! Though there were similar cars much closer to me, I paid for an Uber, went, and bought the car sight unseen! I would give him and the dealership 10 stars if I could. First time I went in, was just looking to see what was on the lot and was greeted, and after that, not another contact with anyone. When I came back to test drive a few vehicles, got a great sales guy. Overall selection of vehicles is quite nice, and most of the vehicles are almost new to very good condition. Though Carmax likes to display the image they sell cars that have or haven't had any issues, you'll find you'll need to look closer. Most are bought at auction after coming off lease or from being a fleet vehicle. Which is a good thing, as you the regular maintenance was done on them and often the vehicles have original warranties still in effect depending on what vehicle you are looking for and what year. The sales guy was low pressure, and when I came in the next day to buy, I was given another one since he was completing a sale on another customer. Wasn't an issue, as he or the guy that took over were truly "car" guys. The liked cars, had sales experience, but weren't "car" guys. The experience was good overall, but the highlight was completing the deal. Paperwork was done quickly (I had preapproval from my credit union with EFT) and finished the paperwork in about twenty minutes. Amazing, got the vehicle at just an average price, but go the mileage I wanted, with original warranty and extended warranty at the price I was willing to pay. SO overall, win for me, and though I was never a Carmax fan (still rubs me the wrong way their colors are almost best buy colors when their parent company was circuit city....). But I will say my mind was changed.
2024 Audi Q5 review
I love driving my wife's SQ5, we test drove the non S. All Q5 have a very comfortable ride, sharp handling and great acceleration. I have 23 dodge charger r/t daytona and I'm very impressed my wife's q5.
