My wife and I bought two cars from BMW/MINI of Southampton. Our initional experience with walking into BMW of Southampton was of a total customer service experience from the salespeople to the management. Everyone took the time to assure us of our trade value and accommodating our needs for an X5 that I was in the market to lease. With some negotiation on both sides we were able to come to an amicable agreement that we were very happy with. During our time there my wife spoke with another lady who is a customer of the dealership who was awaiting the completion of a routine service of her MINI convertible and because it wasn't this woman's first MINI she was overjoyed about the car. On her recommendation we walked over to the showroom where we found a whole new car buying experience. It was fun, the environment was exciting and I never was more comfortable in buying a car before in my life. We had knowledgable staff and lots of laughs and even played a game of pool. I got to say we found a dealership that is just totaly awesome and it feels good when they remember your name when you come back to visit for first service visit. I just sorry I didn't write this review earlier but the memory is one I'll never forget!

He helped my daughter find the perfect 2026 BMW X1 x28i at an amazing price, but what really made this experience special was the care and attention he put into every step. My daughter just turned 17, so safety and reliability were our top priorities. Zane took his time, explained all the options clearly, and made sure she felt completely comfortable and confident with her decision. What truly stood out was how he made her 17th birthday unforgettable. When we arrived, the car was presented beautifully in the showroom with a huge, elegant red bow draped across the hood—it honestly looked like something out of a movie. Seeing her reaction in that moment made everything worth it. Zane went the extra mile to turn a car purchase into a meaningful memory we’ll never forget. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed and taken care of. Zane was never pushy—just professional, patient, and genuinely focused on what was best for us. BMW of Huntington is lucky to have someone like him. If every dealership had salespeople like Zane, buying a car would always feel this smooth and special. Highly recommend asking for Zane—you won’t be disappointed.
2023 BMW iX review
Only 2000 miles of which 500 is highway. First positive impressions are: extraordinary quiet, impressive acceleration, above average ride and comfort. Great front and side vision. Very comfortable seats. Lots of interior room. Negatives are: incredibly complex systems to do simple things, exterior styling is an "acquired taste", rear vision is marginal. Odd door handles inside and outside. It is still too early to make a definitive assessment of this vehicle. Other than an intermittent annoying creak in the passenger window area that is hard to replicate at the dealership, the build quality seems very good. This is not a big Lexus or Mercedes sedan, but rather a very good SAV. Range is 300+ with the 21" wheels. Charging is easy and relatively fast with a good DC charger. True 11KwH on 48 amp home charger. Driver assistance package works well. Steering is a little light but no issues with the shape of the wheel. There will be some adjustment to this type of vehicle, but it has been easier than I anticipated. Registering it as an EV, leased out of state, was a frustrating experience and the extra fees for EV licensing are ridiculous.

2024 BMW iX review
I love this car, it has all the bells and whistles of a luxury car and a 300 mile range, full electric. I had the level 2 charger hooked up at my house and haven't been to the gas station since! This car does things I didn't even know it does--it can parallel park itself, pull out of a parking position by itself by using your phone (if you are parked too close to other vehicles to open door or if the car is in a muddy spot). After driving up to my gate callbox a few times (the clicker doesn't work so I have to enter the code) the car noticed I rolled the window down at that location, and asked if I'd like to have it automatically lower when we approach (which I do)! I love being able to put my foot under the hatchback if my hands are full and the trunk opening automatically. I was worried about running out of a charge, and granted, I haven't gone on any long trips yet, but charging overnight at home works perfectly fine for day to day usage. It is an expensive car, but I got a great deal leasing it and I think it's worth it. Slightly less trunk space than the x5 which I had before this, but as my kids have grown and moved out, I don't really need it as much. Surprising amount of torque--my husband was impressed.
