Bought new in 2007 and still runs and looks like new. As reliable as they get..only needed routine maintenance for 16 years. It's a simple car without much that can go wrong. Handles great, reasonably peppy and good fuel mileage. Still love it after all these years..not interested in a new car!

I always liked the rugged look of the montero. It took awhile to find a nice one but the wait was worth it. Feels cool to ride in this unique truck

Is a great mini van,bought it in 2015 with 75000 miles on it, it has 126000 now, still running like new, engine and transmission are very strong, repalced coils,plugs,front breaks, paid for parts $230, labor $175, very happy with it.

Car lasted along time I just out grew it and wanted something new but in all it's a great vehicle for commuting back and forth to work. Needed minimal maintenance and or service

I am in love with my new car. It is a 2008 but it looks brand new. It has been taken care of very well. All the bells and whistles work. It is roomy and comfortable for myself and my husband. Can’t wait to take it on a road trip.

I bought the plain, zero frills LS new, in '07. 128K miles and counting. I haul my drums all over metro Denver and it fits all my gear, perfectly. It averages 24-28 mpg, per tank. I've lost track of how many times people have mistaken it for a PT Cruiser. It's no pocket rocket but then, I don't need to drive that fast.

I bought mines from a guy from Maine with 270,000k miles. The appearance the style, the low body effect caught my eye. I could tell she'd been loved over an over, but she was new. Winter fastly approaching and I thought. What the xxxx if I'm turning over in middle of the night wondering what she like. These guys are a family business and treat you like family. Here's my story: I live in the Roanoke, VA metro area and this past June went out west on what was supposed to be a long and enjoyable camping trip with my 14 year old son. Unfortunately, by the time we got to Mount Rushmore, I started to have problems with my transmission on my 2001 Honda Accord. And by the time we got to Jackson, Wyoming, the transmission started to fail in earnest. After checking it out, the local mechanic told me to get a new car. Because there wasn't much to choose from in Jackson hole, I decided to take a chance and headed down to the Salt Lake City metro area. I'm so glad my car made it down there. Since I've had it with transmission problems, I decided to get a stick shift for a change. While at a local library searching for cars on the internet, I saw that Peterson Auto had a manual transmission 2006 Subaru Outback in stock. As soon as I arrived, I was met by Mike Peterson who handed me the keys and told me, "we trust you" and encouraged me to take it for a spin by myself. I loved the car (been wanting an Outback for quite a while now), and was ready to buy it, but they had just gotten the car and I was told they needed to have their third party mechanic check it out. After an oil change and new bearings on one of the wheels, they where comfortable selling it and we closed the deal later that afternoon. Then to my surprise, before I could take off with it, they filled up the gas tank for me (which was almost empty). I was pleasantly surprised. Because of the free Carfax report they provided, I was able to figure out that all of the previous owners had "kicked the can down the road" and neglected to get the timing belt changed. It was overdue for a change by over 20,000 miles. So I made arrangements for their mechanic to change it and they gave me a free loaner car during the process. When I got the car back, Mike surprised me with a set of four brand new Sailun Atrezzo tires- for free. Now I ask you.... who does that? These guys really treat you like family. But after driving the car for a few hours, the radiator hose burst. I called Mike and he immediately arranged to have someone pick me up and the car towed. Again he gave me a free loaner car to drive until it was fixed the next morning. It turns out that while putting on the radiator hose after the timing belt change, the mechanic had over tightened it and cracked the radiator where the hose attaches. As Mike said, "it was a self-inflicted wound." But they took care of it and I wound up with a new radiator and hose for my troubles. No charge for any of that. I was just amazed... the car was sold as is, but they treated me like I was family. I'm back home now, but if I need a new car, I just might go on another camping trip and stop by Peterson Auto. I really like these guys. I've dealt with two different dealerships before, but these guys are the best. They made me a "happy camper!"

This is my first car and I absolutely love it! I plan to keep my car for as long as I can. It's very reliable, I've had the car for about a year and half now and I've only ever had 2 issues with the car. The first being the starter not working right after I purchased it and the 2nd being the AC going out a few months, with both issues being fixed and relatively cheap, although I take my car to a mechanic I personally know instead of a dealership. This car has never left me stranded or failed me, It has always and I mean always started right up. I also love how comfortable and quiet the cabin is. Even on the highway it is nice and quiet on the inside and it drives so smoothly, I always get complements on how smooth and nice the car is while driving. The car is amazing on gas! I do put gas about once a week although I do travel a bit further for work along with all my errands so it all depends on how often you drive. My car is the 2.0 SL which is the mid trim level, it comes with steering wheel buttons, cruise control and a slightly nicer radio system. People tend to complain about the CVT transmission, I've yet to have any issues with it and I'm currently at 183K miles! although I did buy my car used and it had 169K when i first got it so I'm not too sure about before hand but so far I myself don't have any issues. It's all about taking good care of your car, I'm always on top of maintenance such as oil changes, breaks, tires, etc. Just take good care of your car and it will take care of you. I love the radio system, It has a WORKING CD player which may not matter to most but I'm a CD collector so I'm so glad it not only comes with it but also works, but it also has an aux port which i find amazing as most cars around this time period don't have any way to connect a phone. My only complaint about this car is that I do wish it came with keyless entry, mine only came with just the key itself and I do know the nicer trim levels get the keyless entry but it still would be nice to have! Overall it's an amazing car and I plan to keep her for as long as I can

I have my 2007 Fusion since new, now with 300K miles on it. Other than normal maintenance I've only had to replace the alternator. Great car and looking forward to hitting 500K miles in it.

Bought this new, never had any major issues mechanically. I take care to give it regular oil changes with synthetic. The nav has gotten laggy so I don't bother with it anymore and stick with my phone. I've also noticed the TPMS sensors seem more sensitive lately, so it annoyingly warns me about low tire pressure, even when it's not that bad yet. This blocks the screen telling me avg. mpg, so I have to fill it up I can't just ignore it for awhile. Other than that I still love driving it, it's quick enough for me and fun to drive around town. I was expecting to change cars much early especially with the warranty now over, but I'm going to stick with it for a few more years.

This car was good enough, for me. I had to replace the exhaust manifold at 120k, roof drains at 125k, and 2 seized calipers around 133k. Had it regularly checked at the dealer, but it ended up mechanically failing me, leaving me stranded more than once. Car seemed to eat through batteries in 2 years or less, could never get that figured out either. Fantastic mpgs no matter how you drive

Lately I have been having alot of problems every month I been fixing something on my truck. Today is the power steering sensor that is not working. I need to replace it but don't have money to do it.

I got my 2006 ford explorer eddie bauer Ltd. In 2008 used. I love it. It's 2024 I has the oil changes regularly (it's tells me) which is wonderful. Yes I needed tires obviously. But the only repairs it needed since I have it was the gear shift. The front axle got changed last year. And now the rear axle needs changing and they say some pieces are rusting. Now I did have an issue with it stopping when I would go over a speed bump. So took it to a repair shop close to work. BIG mistake. First they said it was a silinod (spelled wrong) Replaced Then they said it was the fuel tank. Replaced Then they said take it to Ford. They didn't know but gave me a list of things that will need done eventually. Spare plugs, etc. Finally after a month I got angry and took it up to Trump motors (repair shop) where my dad deals. And it ends up that in my ford explorer I have a emergency shut off. So on the passenger side front panel area. There is a pump button. If it happens just wait 2 minutes give it 2 or 3 pumps and start it up. They did/showed me that for free. So expensive lesson. But I absolutely love my Ford explorer. Wish I could keep it forever. But I realize it is older and now rear axle and rusted pieces, driver leather seat needs replaced and liner coming down. So I'm thinking I need to update. Hoping to get something similar. Oh yeah I'm also 5'2" and love sitting high and seeing everything.

My wife bought me a 2016 as a gift yes it has a ton of miles but it runs and drives like a brand new car. We've had lots of road trips and no problems I'm 6,1 very comfortable even in the back seat I really like the trunk space
