1997 Buick LeSabre review
I have a 1997 LeSabre custom with 118,000 miles. Love the 3.8 liter v6 engine…it truly is bullet proof. Quiet ride, lots of room in the cabin and trunk, no more problems except the usual must fixes…love it. But alas I live in upstate NY and the road salt has eaten away the bottom of my car…the engine still purrs! I have recently bought a new Buick, doesn’t have the weight or feel of the LeSabre. Did not have to worry about accidents…the car is made a steel…made me feel safe. As most of us know they do not make things like they use too. If it were not for the bottom rusting out it would definitely reached 300,000 miles. And yes, I am heart broken.

1997 Buick LeSabre review
My car currently has 252,000 miles. This engine i think is the best 3800 series 3 buick ever made. Had to change alot of other parts. Thats to be expected because of the age. However the transmission sililonids are hard to replace. $10 parts but $500 to install them.
