It was nice to get beyond the dickering that one is always subjected to from car salespeople. Buying from the comfort of home was nice.
Great little car

I have a 2017 Chevy Sonic Premium with Turbo.
This car has pep. I would suggest getting a turbo no matter your needs as it will help you negotiate traffic. This car has comfortable seating as my Acadia which I downgraded from. It has heated seats and steering wheel, the steering wheel doesn't seem to get very warm but I hardly use it. I hate keyless start but that's kind of standard anymore. I've left my car running a few times when I get out of it on accident. I was looking at an Impala Premier but couldn't find a price I could afford and have trouble driving "big" vehicles hence my downgrading from an Acadia
I haven't had the Sonic in the shop yet. I bought it used with 46,000 miles and have put about 10,000 on it. It's a comfy car and my husband who is 5"11 even agrees that is comfortable. It is a tight car no doubt. It is slightly loud but I'm used to it with other vehicles.
It's a very fun car to drive. It has a huge trunk and fold down the seats for more room.
The ride is a little bumpy due to the low profile tires, I would like to get some different thicker tires for a more cushioned ride but other than that I wouldn't change much.
Moe spent over an hour going over everything in my car and showed me how things work. He was so polite and very knowledgeable. Kristin in finance had everything ready and was in and out in very little time. Both were very friendly and made me feel like the queen for the day. Thanks for an easy day buying a car !

This car meets all my needs, fit, style, comfort, rear backup and anti collision. My husband is 250 lbs and the seat is a little small for him, but it's my car and it fits me well and I'm under 200 pounds. I love the car every day more and more.
I was greeted right away. The sales and finance people where very friendly and helpful. They answered all of my questions. Nick asked what I wanted and the 1st truck he brought to show me was the one I bought. I would definitely go back to Mcgrath’s to buy a vehicle in the future. If you ever go to McGrath Chevyland asked for Nick Gordon he will help you and treat you good.

I wasn't in the market for this car, but i ended up test driving it and fell in love. It's small but very comfy for my 3 person family. 2015 ltz can be driven automatic or manual, easy to maneuver, loads of features like remote start and heated seats.
This is a real review, i have no affiliation with any employees there.
I put these guys through hell along and never did they get disrespectful with me over the 6 days leading up to me buying my Challenger Scat and Shacker 392. They gave my a great deal, and beat my banks APR when it came to sing for the loan. I will be a long term customer now.
NOT A RELIABLE CAR

Purchased Brand New. Since Day 1 have had Engine Trouble. Plastic Gear shift cracked. Had To Replace Radiator After 1 year. Not Covered
We bought a 2014 Chevy Sonic in Feb 2016. We were told it took semi-synthetic oil. With the car I gor 3 free oil changes. Thinking the oil needed to be changed every 3 months or 3000 miles I scheduled an oil change because according to what I was understanding it was past due. Nobody told me any different. I got it serviced and again nobody told me I could wait almost 5mos 5000 miles before I had it done again. Like clockwork 3 months later I had it in again for an oil change. Again nobody told me. I used up 3 free oil changes PLUS two more one of which cost me $48 and another that cost me $52 and still nobody told me. I became aware of this when we needed to purchase another vehicle and bought a 2014 Chevy Traverse and we were told then that it takes semi-synthetic oil and doesn't need to be changed as often. I contacted service and they gave me the run around. Tried to tell me I didn't have the service done there. But yet it was listed on my service log each oil change I had done. Well a gentleman called me was going to look into if I could be reimbursed in anyway and have heard nothing from him. That's been a month or so ago. My advice Be watchful and don't take anything at face value. Would only recommend with words of caution.

Perfect for singles, travelers but not comfy for hours long. Amazing on gas, good for teenagers as well! I travel a lot in this car and it cost me almost oth if!
Convenient. Service department is a little over zealous with service recommendations. Example : suggested needing alignment because tire wear was off VERY SLIGHTLY. The tires have 73000 miles on them and still have great tread wear.
Love my car

One of my worst experiences

I bought my car used from my Chevy dealership. It was only suppose to have 5,000 miles but I already sold my car and when I went down there to buy my Chevy it had 15k miles. I had no other option. The entire time I’ve own this car the radio system has been messed up completely. And now once my car has hit 70k miles on it after owning it for 3 years it’s completely falling apart. The exterior that I’ve witnessed on other Chevy Sonics is starting to happen to mine. The plastic for the door lining is bubbling and coming off, few minor interior things are starting to pop off and my ac no longer works. I only drive my car to work and home and it shouldn’t have this many issues. Knowing I have a warranty I called my dealership and told them the issues they told me that most Sonics have had recalls about the things I’ve complained about and they still want to charge me 200$ to fix the issues even though they have admitted MOST CHEVY SONICS LT come back with these issues. I will never buy another one of these cars this was my first time buying from a dealership and it’s been an awful experience
I had a two door car and desperately needed a 4 door after having a baby. I really love the spark but decided on a Sonic because it was bigger.
It’s a beautiful car! I love the big screen it has! It’s a comfortable ride! Very smooth!!
Super glad I finally upgraded and super happy with the Sonic!!
What an amazingly experience! Never thought I would say that about buying a car! What an amazing staff, selection and hassle free pricing. Highly Recommend!!!

Less than thirty thousand miles lit up like a Christmas tree nothing but problems!!! Can't trade it off thanks to good old west brothers and GM outrageous interest rate!! Will never buy a brand new car again!
Provided fair and friendly service. Will definitely deal with Juan in the future.

My first Sonic was a 2013 and honestly the first car I really fell in love with! I had a very hard time trading it in because it was such a great car, never gave me a bit of trouble until about the 90,000 miles and even then not big issues. I just traded it for a 2018 and am pleased to say so far so good! If you are looking for a great little car for running short trips that will also give you the performance and comfort for long trips, look no further. The Sonic gives you everything you could possible want in one small package, great gas mileage, gadgets, performance, comfort, and sportiness. You will also be very surprise at just how much you can pack into it.
Pretty much can't say enough good about these guys! I'd been shopping for a used Jeep Commander for a week or two near my hometown of Minneapolis, MN. I looked at a couple and they both had issues. I broadened my search and found one for sale from 391. I explained that I was interested and would drive down from Minneapolis to buy it if it passed an inspection. Before the inspection, Prentice took more detailed photos of every little issue and sent them to me. Then he personally drove the car to third party shop for inspection. It checked out great except for two issues that 391 repaired at NO COST TO ME. We had already agreed on a price if it passed inspection, so they just fixed that stuff and didn't increase the price. I drove down the next morning, and after a test drive, and 5 minutes of paperwork, I left with the car at the agreed-upon price. I've had it for a few weeks now and absolutely no surprises. The price was lower than all the others I was looking at, and the vehicle is in better condition. Next time I'm in the market for a used car, I'm actually going to call down there first! It's well worth the drive for someone you can trust, and an unbeatable price!
Never again will I buy a Chev Sonic
