2026 Ford Mustang review
We have had the Mustang Ecoboost for sbout two weeks. We love the way the car looks (people staring all the time), we love the way the car handles and drives and it it is surprisingly fast. The torque comes on quick and at low RPM. We drive in SPORT mode all the time for very spirited driving. In TRACK mode it holds the rpms and is very fast. The cockpit is like a spaceship. We have an older GT but this cockpit is fantastic. Looking forward to tons of fun in this cincertible

2002 Ford Thunderbird review
In 2002 they sold over MSRP adjusted for inflation @$54K in todays money- pricier than the 2002 Corvette and sold like 30,000 that year. I think that new car buyer had to probably be searching for the 1955 Thunderbird experience to shell out that kind of cash, and most people born on the 60’s and 70’s just didn’t understand that appeal. Oddly, the demographic that did BABIED their cars, kept up maintenance, have all the original tools and covers (just try and find that T-handle wrench for the hard top for example) when you get lucky enough to get a shot at buying one of these babies cars you’ll find they’re sharp and quick, amazingly so despite what people someone lent one to to write about said 20 years ago. Shod with 17inch tires 🛞 and solid suspension, people can complain about the horsepower being light, but stomp it and it will jump, zoom and weave solidly with the best of them. My drive home from buying this car was a blast. Will other sports models eke out slightly better speed, power and performance over these 20 year old T-birds? Sure, why not. Does it matter if you’re not at Road Atlanta? No. For me, this a sleeper sports car that’s about to bust onto the scene and see its reputation finally living up to the 2002 Car of the Year Award Motor Trend gave it. I think you need to find one of these babied sweethearts like I did. It’s a blast to find a good one and discover what an under rated blast it is to drive. Can’t really call it super nimble, but I respect mines solid ride and reasonably quick response & rocket like performance. The incredibly clean lines scream style visually and I suggest that a 2 tone leather optional interior is worth an extra $1K (over the basic. $11-12 K value) a hard top/rack/tonneau cover intact is worth another grand. ($13-14K total seems fair generally for a babied one). Check the rubber suspension parts underneath (inside the front wheel well behind the tire) is the easiest one to check quickly for rot w/o getting under the rear).

2023 Mercedes-Benz AMG SL 63 review
I waited 71 years to get this car. It's a stunner! Other motorists roll down their windows to comment how beautiful it is, and its available changeable drive moves allow it to go from a boulevard cruiser to a growling beast at the turn of a button! Its fast as xxxx but nimble too. Four-wheel drive and rear axle steering make it incredibly responsive. The Premium Burmeister sound system is great, and the surround sound makes you feel like you're sitting in a concert hall. I specked the interior and steering wheel in gorgeous carbon fiber which nis enhanced by the 164 available ambient light settings. This car turns heads!

2005 Ford Thunderbird review
Love driving this fun car. Maintenance has been an issue and will probably only get worse... Item: Like most modern cars, there are no grease points in the suspension. So when the little rubber boots that cover the joints rot away, there's no way to lubricate the suspension, and the parts start to grind against each other. Out $4k to replace the front and rear suspension. Had them do the struts too since they had to take everything else out. Item: Many parts no longer available. The accelerator pedal switches failed. No Ford or aftermarket replacement to be found. Good news: found one at a salvage yard. Bad news: it's the same age as the one it replaced. Item: Crack in the windshield? Stay away from any chain that rhymes with "Chafe-Bite." Replacing the windshield means removing the frame. Very few of their techs are trained on how to do this.

1998 BMW Z3 review
I purchased my BMW Z-3 (6-liter engine) when it was brand new, 1998. It is the BEST car I have ever owned. (I've had Mercedes Benz, Thunderbirds, Corvettes in the past.) This baby is now 25 years old, and has 71,000 miles on it. I bought the hardtop for it, and keep it on the car all the time now. (Too much trouble to take off and put it on the rack in the garage.) Very few repairs were needed in the past, and I've had the oil changed, etc. every year, purchased new tires like the original Michelins, and kept this car garaged. I also purchased a BMW luggage rack, and a BMW hard suitcase that snaps onto the rack, because the trunk is small. I am a small woman ("ole lady now") and this car has been perfect for everything from long road trips, to maneuvering around town into tight parking spaces. It is classic black, and I STILL get compliments on it every single day!!! No, it is not for sale.

2026 BMW Z4 review
Following two Mazda Miatas and a MINI Roadster S, we chose the last year of the BMW z4 to continue our top down motoring experience. While certainly larger than our previous roadsters, it has superior engine performance and handling capabilities and a more premium interior and spectacular exterior appeal. We found the B46 4 cylinder engine plenty powerful and did not want/need the legend B58 6 cylinder's extra power, cost or insurance premium. The z4 sDrive 30i offers similar camaraderie as the Miatas and MINIs with both BMWCCA and ZSCCA group activities. With only our break-in miles, cannot speak to reliability but our other BMWs (x3 M40i and 230i) have been problem-free.

2025 Ford Mustang review
I’ve owned my Mustang EcoBoost Premium Convertible for a while now, and it completely shatters the old stereotype that a Mustang needs a V8 to be a "real" sports car. It is the perfect platform for someone who wants open-air fun without sacrificing premium comfort, daily drivability, or cutting-edge technology. The stock EcoBoost engine is already incredibly punchy, but the platform reacts beautifully to the right modifications. Adding the Ford Performance Calibration—which ups the output to a serious 350 horsepower and 402 lb-ft of torque—along with a Mishimoto intercooler completely wakes the car up. To be honest, this is exactly how the car should have come from the factory if Ford wasn't so worried about tuning it down just to keep it 87-octane compatible. Running it on premium fuel with this calibration gives you massive low-end torque, immediate throttle response around town, and a relentless pull on the highway. Opting for the Premium trim is a must. The interior materials are a massive step up, making the cabin feel like a high-end grand tourer. I am especially happy with the tech in this car. I absolutely love the giant digital screen layout. While some Mustang purists don't like it and prefer old-school physical gauges, I am someone who always embraces new technology. Sitting in the driver's seat makes me feel like I am in an airplane cockpit. Features like the active cruise control work excellently on longer drives. The only thing I wish Ford had included in this tech package is a Head-Up Display (HUD). Because it's a convertible, you do have to deal with open-air road noise, and while the factory B&O sound system is decent, to me it was really lacking—especially with the top down. I recently took my car in for oil change, tire rotation and 5 point inspection. Everything went smoothly except no one checked the tire pressure and made the needed adjustments. In fact I’m not even sure the tires were rotated. I knew the tire pressures needed to be adjusted …..I guess it was my assumption they would check / correct the tire pressures. Hello, Steve in service was awesome I was having a problem with my battery in Pendleton I headed toward the Lexus dealer in Greenvile , it was almost 4:00 PM, I CALLED Steve on my way and told him my problem and that I was coming hoping to make it be 4:30, I did, Steve was waiting for me and took the Lexus SUV 350 straight back to the mechanics and before I got comfortable in the lounge he told me it was the battery and the cables, I agreed to fix it right then and they were finished with the repair plus vacuum and washed the car. Paid Steve and I was on my way home by like 5:15/5:30. Steve was great and I was thrilled with the service he gave me and the warranty. Thank you so much especially being a widow it’s so nice to have dependable people like Steve and Lexus of Greenville to help me. I won’t use anyone else and will recommend you.

2003 Ford Thunderbird review
I absolutely love this car. My only wish is that I can find a Hard Top to put on it at a reasonable price. But I still love this car. I am sorry but I do. It puts a smile on my face. And I didn't have to pay a fortune for it either. It still looks like new, and it drives great, and it handles excellent. It is the Torch Red w/Black Ink Interior. And this is to the guy that says the 3.9 engine is underpowered, you are nuts, this thing screams down the highway, not that I am a speed demon, but it does. I don't know what else to say about this Thunderbird, but I wish I had bought one many years ago. Nuff said.

2022 Mazda MX-5 Miata review
There are a lot of professional reviews that state the absolute fun of driving this vehicle. After owning this car and driving in multiple traffic conditions in south Florida, I have to say that the reviews are completely correct. I've owned my share of cars, including some sports cars, like a 2021 WRX (manual tranny) and a 2004 RX-8 (auto tranny). This 2022 Miata MX-5 definitely beats the WRX hands down in drivability and fun. It also edges out the RX-8, but the rotary is something in its own class. My favorite thing about this car is the gear ratio. It fits in almost every driving condition. There's plenty of room in 1st and 2nd while in rush hour traffic, and if you want to step on it, holy cow! This car is F>A>S>T>!!! It's reportedly set to go to 60mph in under 6 seconds, and I believe it. After 500 miles on the odo, the car seemed to open up and got even more fast and fun. At first I thought the cockpit was too small. After getting into this car from my Mazda 3, I felt cramped and a bit claustrophobic. That lasted about three days. Now it feels totally natural and comfortable. I'm 5'9" and slender build, so I really fit in this car. Someone above 6ft tall and larger build would probably feel tight. This is a glorious go kart, with a Bose stereo, terra cotta leather seats, and platinum quartz color. It corners like no one's business, and if I turned off my traction control, it would drift beautifully. With the traction control, it catches and corrects in an intentional slide. The turning radius is ridiculously tiny. Throwing the top open takes about 3 seconds, literally. The seats have speakers in the head area for calls and the higher pitch of the Bose sound. This is my daily driver, and I love it. If you have a partner who has a larger car for the more practical notions, go get one of these before you turn 80. You'll be glad you did.

2005 Chrysler Crossfire review
