2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray review
On December 10th, 2024, I purchased a red 2015 Corvette Stingray Convertible 3LT from Country Chevrolet in Warrenton, Virginia. I have purchased 26 new and used cars in my life, and I have to say this was by far the best buying experience I have ever had in my life. My first car was a new 1980 Corvette, and I evolved into planning for my last car to be a red corvette convertible. After much research, lots of shopping, and numerous test drives, I found this car listed on-line at Country Chevrolet at a listed price in the range I was looking for. I called and set up a test Drive for the wife and me. We drove up to the dealership and noticed one or two folks outside who immediately said hi, welcomed us to the dealership and went to get the salesman for our test drive. The environment at this dealership was more welcoming than any Chevy dealership I had ever been to. When Kirk Hughes, our sales consultant introduced himself, we could clearly see we had found at great person to work with. Kirk is friendly, professional, and an absolute expert in corvettes and cars in general. Kirk is by far one of the best salesmen I have ever met. I consider myself a car person, as I enjoy buying, selling and talking about cars. I also perform much of the simple maintenance tasks like changing fluids, brakes and normal maintenance items. Kirk is truly knowledgeable and an absolute pleasure to talk to. After being at the dealership for a bit, I bumped into Kevin Bearce, another sales consultant and person we knew. He is another unbelievable friendly professional and a true joy to talk to. With sales folks like Kirk and Kevin, I would recommend Country Chevrolet to any and everyone, as they clearly only hire the best of the best. Kirk had three surprise visits by existing customers during our time shopping, and Kevin jumped in without skipping a beat, to assist in what turned out to be our purchase of the corvette. The finance consultant, J. C. Welch, quickly assisted in finalizing the sale at a price I considered fair. He too was friendly and professional in all. My whole experience at Country Chevrolet was completely different than my previous experiences buying cars. The atmosphere and attitude of the people was friendly, upbeat and caring. This tells me that the management and ownership of this dealership sets high standards for their people, and the result is great buying experience for a customer like me. Thank you to Kirk, Kevin, J.C. and Country Chevrolet. My wife and I are enjoying this wonderful dream car thanks to the efforts of a great Chevy team.

2019 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque review
Just bought a 2019 and love it. Unfortunately it does NOT have heated seats which seems strange. Driving and maneuverability are a pleasure. In addition, I love the deep red color and the leather seats are still in great condition.

2010 Volkswagen New Beetle review
I was very impressed with the state-of-the-art of this car especially for 2010. Since I am a CD user, it's nice to find a vehicle with a superb CD player (VW's Monsoon audio system). The vehicle handles nimbly and the head room is excellent. Driver and passengers enjoy panoramic views out the Beetle's big windows. I think if you've never driven a New Beetle, you'll be an instant convert after a test drive. I like buying used to save the high costs of a new vehicle

2006 Porsche Boxster review
I have owned old and new 911’s, including a 2004 911 Turbo, and my current 2006 Boxster Base with the silky smooth 5 speed manual has been the most fun to drive. He was helped by Nadim, who then worked his "okole" (Hawaiian slang) off to get me to come down from L.A. to check out the car. He ran numbers for me and made them work. So, instead of me spending my day in a somber crying jag, I ended up finding and purchasing the car of my dreams. Matt helped answer my finance, warranty, seat cover, car cover questions and Emilio (forgive me I may have this name wrong), showed me all the technical aspects of the car. I know my angel in heaven helped me along the way. And it was a clincher when we turned on teh radio and it was already set to my favorite station KJAZZ. Go figure. Thank you Team Nash for your wonderful attitude, knowledge, tenacity and perseverence to bring the monthly in at an affordable rate for me. I ended up having a terrific day and it was all because of you folks. Can't wiat to start this new chapter in my life!
2008 Nissan 350Z review
Great car for 6-8 hour trips. Cannot beat it for all around fun. Typically put 5-6 k miles on per year. Very reliable. Sold it and got a 2014 370 z roadster. Very hard decision to sell the 2008. Both cars have stand out features.

2002 Lexus SC 430 review
Never a "have to have it" kind of car guy until I saw, researched and drove this car. It's a solid, powerful, and super slick cabriolet that only catches the eye of the passionate. It has a beautiful saddle leather interior with gorgeous wood details and a really good stereo that rivals todays' car stereos. It has strong and silent 4.3 V8 that is top of the list reliable. I bought my 2002 in 2023 and fixed a few things with the audio system and is now a low-mile like-new car. I love driving it when I can and will til I can't drive anymore.

2020 Aston Martin DBS review
Grace, pace & space. No the DBS isn’t a Jaagg but it’s surely beautiful like an E Type. The newest DBS is leaps and bounds more sophisticated than the prior generation. The new 5.2 liter V12 may not sound as good as the old 6 liter but makes up for the lack of rasp with loads of torque. Liken it to a early 90s supercharged Vantage, it’s a real muscle car. Back seats are somehow even smaller than a 911s and the ride while being very well damped is still a bit harsh for this sort of GT car. Don’t compare it a F car, the 812 is far less comfortable though even more driver focused.

2017 Buick Cascada review
My baby name is Sunshine. The color I was showed was not the color I got. I love blue when I saw the blue it was different, It didn't pop, I was still like ok whatever, as long as it's blue, she'll grow on me. Before I get her I had only seen one a few yrs back and was puzzled like a buick with a rag top?? Is that a convertible?? Anyway, fast forward... usually when u buy a car u start seeing a lot of them. Well, I didn't so I'm looking at cars (waiting on the delivery of mines) I finally seen the blue I was getting and I was like, ok that's cute. The day of my new arrival. Omg she was more beautiful in person and the Blue was NOT the blue I thought. She popped!!! This baby is beautiful and rides so smooth I wanted something different and she has not disappointed me at all she had 15,910mi I've had her for a lil over 6mos. She sitting at 25k now. Absolutely no regrets i am her third and prayfully her last owner.

Although I love my car, when it's time to sell, and when it's time for another, I will most definitely contact Illusso first, and I will do so, hoping that Todd is still there. What a refreshing experience in this day and age when integrity isn't nearly as valued as it could be.

2021 Lexus LC 500 review
I normally trade cars every 3/4 years. I have had this one for 5 and have no intention of trading. It is not a Corvette, a Porshe, or BMW. I recently purchased a GranTurismo S from sales associate Kari Lloyd. The process could not have been better. By email I arranged a time with Kari to see the car, and she asked me if I would like a cappuccino when I arrived. I told her my preference, and a cappuccino mocha was waiting for me. She also made scones the night before for me to enjoy while we spoke about the car. I had my eye on a 2011 that was a beautiful Bordeaux exterior with a light beige and black interior. We took a test drive and she showed me some of the features and spoke of others. There was never any pressure sales tactics and the sales manager was very understanding when I said I wanted to explore my financing options over the next few days. Kari kept in touch during that time by email, as I had explained to her that I work at night and sleep during the day. When I had my financing in place I let Kari know and we setup a time to meet on my next day off. Again, she had the scones and another cappuccino mocha waiting for me. I made my offer and within no more than 10 minutes I had a deal. No back and forth between the sales associate and the manager. I was completely done with the deal and had my keys in an hour and a half. Kari took time to explain functions of the car and helped pair the bluetooth from my phone to the media system. They had detailed it, filled it with petrol, made sure the second key was programmed properly and then I was off on my new adventure of owning an Italian exotic car. Just before I left, Kari noticed that something still needed attention in the car and we drove to the service bay where they cleaned a small area of the interior. Kari then let me know that the dealership was holding a car wash for their clients on the weekend following. Even though the event was booked up on their website, she got me on the list and I was treated with the same respect by other members of the team that I met. I highly recommend Kari Lloyd's professionalism and her willingness to provide extras to make one feel welcome and respected. The entire team made me feel like I was their most important customer. These days, I find customer service like that a rare thing indeed.
