I have been left speechless by the services provided by MotorCar Classics. I had called their office and was so lucky to be connected to Craig. The original conversation started with info on a car they had recently sold. We talked for a good 20-30 minutes and I can tell Craig was full of enthusiasm and a passion for cars. One conversation led to another and he taught me how consignment works. I had sold 4 jeeps prior on my own and didn't even know consignment to sell a car was a thing. He walked me through the details on how it works. I ended up giving them my Jeep CJ-7 after a week and they had it sold faster than I had imagined. For my age, my biggest battle is getting a conversation going with such professionals who deal with cars worth hundreds of thousands. 1997 Toyota Celica review
I needed a good gas mileage reliable car. I knew there’s no car ever made that is more reliable than a 90’s to early 2000’s Toyota and I was lucky enough to find a 25 year old Celica convertible in great shape. I had no idea what a truly exceptional car this was. It handles nearly as good as my first generation Miata, but brakes better, steering is very precise, it has a back seat and ride quality that makes a day long marathon trip comfortable. The trunk is a little difficult to open and it won’t scare you with acceleration, but it will put an enormous smile on your face every time you drive it. I’ve owned dozens of cars- many of them classics, this may well be my favorite.

1983 Porsche 928 review
The Porsche 928 S was a dream car of mine for 20 years. About 2 years ago I came across and ad where a guy had 2 of them for sale as a package deal (1 ran and 1 for parts). I jumped on them as quick as I could. Needless to say, I had to piece them together to make one good car but it has been a great journey and in the end, I have a great looking and driving car worth 10 times what I paid for the pair!

I’ve put 125k miles on it so far. Had 160k when I got it. Still has the original engine and runs great. Getting 34-39 MPG overall with the 5-speed and driving it nicely. Interior has held up exceptionally well, no cracking on any of the panels.

1995 Pontiac Firebird review

I have to comment on the Price, two years ago you would have said $50,000 was a high price for a low mileage MK4 Supra, And I bet that you'll be saying that you wish you purchased this amazing car. I bought a Chrysler Crossfire there in 2016. I'm a Toyota/Honda guy so buying a car that was half Chrysler, half European was a big leap of faith but I always liked the look of the Crossfire. Now it's March 2022, I still have it and it runs great (knock wood), no problems. When you go there you deal with the owner, Mike, so you don't have to deal with any of that salesman, "Let me talk it over with the manager..." nonsense. He's great. Gives you the price and doesn't try to sell you all sorts of tack ons. I had a very good experience.
2004 Mercedes-Benz SLK-Class review
The C230 Kompressor (2.4 liter) engine is SUPER dependable…IF the car has been maintained. If you don’t have a service record and are not good at detecting problems on a test drive then do yourself a favor and spend the +/- $300 to get it inspected at a competent Benz garage. Mine has 200,000 miles and have never had ANY big expense…most I ever had to put into it is about $400…which is what it cost to replace factory front brakes, or to service the auto trans with fluid and filter. change. Only mechanical problem I have ever had are worn cam sensors, which is common and costs about…$400 to repair. My experience after driving the car for ten years is that parts are affordable on eBay…used lower mileage engine: <$1000. Main thing is to replace supercharger oil if it starts to whine louder. YouTube has a video on how to do that w/o removing the supercharger. Lastly, while I maintain the car, I also drive the holy xxxx out of it! It’s only going to start leaking oil if you don’t get it changed often enough, or if you drive it like an old lady who is not from Pasadena…

2013 Scion FR-S review
Tengo el FR-S desde el año 2013, hace 10 años. El carro me ha salido super bueno. Es un carro pequeño pero muy diferente a los otros deportivos de 2 puertas. Me gusta por que puedo ajustar mi asiento sin preocuparme de que tiene un panel en la parte trasera. Mi hijo tiene 5 años y lo llevo en la parte trasera en su asiento protector y a el le encanta. Soy de los que a tenido mas de 15 autos durante mis años de chofer. Este auto no me a pedido nada de arreglos. El secreto, se los dire. A todos mis autos le cambio el aceite a las 3,500 millas. Muchos me dicen que es muy temprano, que el manufacturero dice que más. Solo le diré que si tienen su vehiculo y lo utilizan de diario, arranca y para, arranca y para, ect. Estos carros modernos utilizan un aceite 0-20 no es como en otros tiempos. Si utilizan buen aceite, y lo cambian a las 3,500 millas se acordarán de mi. Ese motor siempre estará como nuevo! y su auto se lo agradecerá. Amo a mi Subaru, por que aunque tiene todo los simbolos scion, no tiene nada de scion. Todos sus labels, todos sus componentes dicen subaru, hasta las chapas de los aros por la parte de atras dice "subaru". Así que les recomiendo el TOYO-BARU FR-S.

2019 Dodge Challenger review
I've owned Porsche 911, a G35 and now this baby. I originally leased it for a few years and was going to give it to my son for his 16th birthday, but decided to keep it as it is STILL so much fun to drive. Fast, zippy, not one problem in 4 years. Just replaced the battery (AAA said I didn't need to, but after 60K, better safe than sorry). Replaced the tires at 40K. Other than that, regular oil changes. LOVE IT.
