I researched a lot of 7-seater SUVs before deciding on a 1 year old Durango... we needed something that could haul our 5 kids and also double as a commuter car with good cargo space for my husband, who travels to construction job sites all over the place. We both love our RAM trucks (mine is the 2500 horse hauler), so Dodge was a natural choice for us, but we opted for the V6 model for better gas mileage than our Hemis. The Durango did not disappoint!! I've seen other reviews complaining about the power of the SXT... what do you honestly expect, people?! It's a 3-row SUV, a V6 simply can't put out the HP to move it like the Hellcat would (ohh, that one must be sweet!!). That being said, we're still pleased with the performance... which is impressive for a vehicle of this size. It still hauls @ss and handles like a dream, and we live on a ranch in the Rockies so good handling on mountain roads in all manner of nasty weather conditions is an absolute MUST for us. You can tell the Durango is modeled on the Challenger chassis so it's basically a race car of an SUV, even in the V6 model. Do yourself a favor and splurge on some d@mn good all-season tires like Michelin LTX for optimum performance in any road conditions. We've been very impressed with the fuel economy, it does well - even with my husband rallying up and down the mountain and dusting people left & right on his daily commute. Haha! That's one advantage over the V8 models, which guzzle gas as bad as our big RAM trucks. We even run it with the Eco Boost turned off, and often in Sport mode. One thing my husband's not fond of is the fact that there is only one special jack included... and no mounts for floor jacks or jack stands. A second jack from the dealer is almost $300. So husband spent some time in his metal shop to fab an adapter for a second scissor jack, so he could rotate tires and change the oil. It's a non issue if you take your car in for service, but if you're the type to wrench on your own vehicles, it's something to bear in mind. Interior design is nice... the only small beef I've got is the 2nd row seat backs fold down, but the whole seat doesn't fold up to more easily access the 3rd row. It's not an issue for our kids clambering over, but it could be awkward for an adult. So the little ones go in the back. Overall, we're really pleased with our Durango SXT - even for the base model, it's got enough whistles and bells to keep us happy, and an impressive performance to economy ratio. Definitely worth every penny of the purchase price, and it's a vehicle we'll keep for a very long time.

The dealership and staff were prompt and friendly. Issue fixed and delivered on time. My only negative is that in making the appointment, I was unable to get in for over two weeks!

We now have 40K miles on ours. We have had small issues such as a coolant leak and a blown speaker but all were covered at no cost under warranty. Performance is great. There are a few software bugs that have been getting resolved with updates.

So I bought this car with no intention of owning it long... but now I love it! Have the SE with the 2.0 (which I read with the 6 spd is most reliable). My only complaint is that it could have more power for maneuvering into traffic... that said it's getting me 37+ mpg going 80 and even over mountain passes. It has great weight distribution and corners almost as well as my bmw 3 series did thanks to the Alpha Romeo chassis. The shifts are smooth - even in high traffic freeway driving and over the mountain passes (maintains whatever speed I want over the passes as well). It's comfortable on long drives - have a 5 hour drive 2x per month. I kind of hate that I love it so much - but also a value shopper - so I take that it was so cheap to purchase into consideration. It only has 68k miles, so interested to see how it holds up in the long run... haven't had any issues at all with it over the past 12k miles I've owned it. It was well maintained by the original owners.

Had been looking for a newer truck for quite a while, but could never seem to catch up with the good deal on the truck I wanted, as someone else would buy it out from under me (three separate occasions). Bought the vehicle used with 90,000k. At 147,000k now for 3 years. Mostly highway driving. Downsides...Bad battery placement, poor alternator design, had to replace due to the pulley clutch. My 4cyl. Is a dog; way underpowered. The main power and is around 4,000rpm. That's really pushing this little 4 banger. The engine struggles over almost any grade in the road, especially in cruse. There are huge blind spots at the rear A pillar. The unprotected wires for the airbag sensors under the seats cause the airbag light to come on. Now the upsides. Best looking sedan in it's class, hands down. Alloy wheels, steering wheel controls, lighted cup holders, clean interior. Relatively comfortable seats. Excellent gas mileage (23-28mpg). The 6 speed automatic transmission makes the dogish 4cyl make the car driveable, as well as the slap manual for shifting. The radio has a HDD drive that holds a gig of music storage. Excellent sound system. Large trunk, rear seat access through the armrest. Overall; with preventive maintenance, driving responsibly, and regular oil changes/tune-ups I would expect another 100,000k (knock on wood).

When the first day of placing orders arrived, I sped to my dealer for the opportunity to make the order, since each dealer was limited to very, very few orders. Four months later, it arrived. As I approached the dealership, several people, both customers and sales personnel, were gathered around my 710 Durango Hellcat. The vehicle was the focus of everyone's attention. When I approached my vehicle and made known that it was mine, quite a few onlookers were shocked to see that such a truck had been ordered by a 75 year "young" woman. Being a "hot car" buff since 16 years of age, this vehicle is the ultimate. Everyone agreed that my body paint selection was perfection: black with wide black matte stripes outlined with narrow red stripes. I got the 2022 Challenger, all black,black..shaker hood. It's Winter here in NORTH Michigan so had to tuck the Harley in till Spring. This car helps me when I'm Jonesing for my bike. 2015 SXT plus V6 full leather interior absolutely love this car. Don’t let the V-6 fool you. This thing really runs out. My last car was a 2014 challenger hemi RT and this would’ve kept right up with it. Great car for the money. Cold air kit, and this eight speed transmission really made all the difference. Best 0 to 60 time 5.6 seconds.

I've owned Porsche 911, a G35 and now this baby. I originally leased it for a few years and was going to give it to my son for his 16th birthday, but decided to keep it as it is STILL so much fun to drive. Fast, zippy, not one problem in 4 years. Just replaced the battery (AAA said I didn't need to, but after 60K, better safe than sorry). Replaced the tires at 40K. Other than that, regular oil changes. LOVE IT.

Brought my Grand Cherokee in for a routine oil change which was completed promptly. It turns out I was overcharged for labor. I paid my bill and left. Before I even noticed the error, I was contacted, apologized to and a check was issued. In the past, prior to Mike Delsart?s appointment to Service Manager, it would have been like pulling hens teeth to get an error corrected. Since Mike has been on the job, service has reached a significantly higher level of quality. And, if there is a problem, Mike is always easily accessible to the customer to step in and solve the issue to our mutual satisfaction. Prior to Mike, things were bad and I was moving on to another dealership. His customer care brought me back and has me firmly grounded in the Gandrud customer base.

If you want the best modern Muscle car look no further the Challenger is it. Since the 60’s and 70’s the challenger hasn’t changed much unlike the Mustang and Camaro. If you want a Modern day Muscle Car you cannot pass up looking at the Dodge Challenger.

I drove a durango GT for 300 miles its not bad the 3.6 V6 is plenty powerful and 30mpg but no hemi theatre. Interior is xxxx near luxurious and the ride is very good. A lot of reliability issues seem to stem from going long on oil changes and driving the car like it's a rental car aka the average dodge driver. If you keep up on the maintenance, this is a genuinely enjoyable car that does almost everything decently well.
