2023 Kia Forte review
Bought the vehicle new in October of 2023. Now it’s March of 2025. Have yet to have an issue🤞though have heard of common problems many have had. I’ve put roughly 20 k miles on the car in a year and a half (mostly interstate driving). Technology package is lovely and the vehicle has an overall stylish feel. It’s important to keep in mind, though, that you’re buying a 20k dollar vehicle from 2023. It’s plastics galore in there, so, though stylish, the material quality isn’t the best. If you’re someone who takes care of your things, you shouldn’t have an issue! Use the maintenance schedule found in the Owner’s manual and this vehicle should get you where you’re going for a reasonable amount of years. That being said, if you’re trying to decide between and LX[S] and GT (not including GT-Line), choose the GT. Though you’re paying a little extra, you get a standard transmission with real gears (the car has more power than you’d think too) rather than the CVT found in the LX[S] (and GT-line). CVT tech has greatly improved within recent years, but they’re still known to be problematic at times. All in all, this generation of Kia seems to be more reliable than most previous gens. Definitely a real deal competitor with the carolla/civic and worth the consideration!

2021 Subaru Ascent review
7th Subaru for this Alaskan. This is the best I’ve ever had. Bought the Touring edition, new, & still blown away by the rig. Tested out with a cross country camping trip & comfort, adaptability, utilities, dependability - all a 5. Took a tent, but not even needed, w/firm foam to create a level, comfy bed area. Now I get why my cousin tried to replace his Ascent Touring with a Lincoln Navigator. Ended up selling the Nav to go back to an Ascent Touring. The first Sub I’ve had that Dad proclaimed ‘comfortable’ and ‘perfect’. I chose the Captains chairs for the 2nd seat, and passengers have loved the comfort & their view, as well as their controls, drink holders, etc. I love the options to simply control everything. Almost killed by a drunk driver long ago, I keep a very close eye on everything around me. Visibility in this rig is mind blowing. And that’s on top of all the cameras that monitor what’s happening. Safety features are perfect. Like listening to music, radio, podcasts? Sound in the Touring edition is heavenly. Very, very impressed with this rig.

2015 Volvo XC60 review
Love our gently used 2015 Volvo XC60 T6 Turbo wagon. 130k miles on it and we have only had to replace the alternator and battery. Does not burn oil, does not leak oil. Has been a very reliable car. If you do the maintenance and change the oil every 5 thousand miles it will last a long time. Regular oil changes are very important as with any car. Most people don’t do this. The 6 cylinder is one the best engines they have made. Timing chain will last a long time as long as you put new clean oil in the engine every 5k miles. No transmission problems and no differential problems for us. No one likes to spend $2,000 for the 90k service but it’s a big one. Important preventative maintenance will take this car to 200,000 miles. Read the owners manual and follow the service schedule.

2019 Subaru Forester review
I recently had my car stolen and totaled. I actually work for the dealership and enjoy the work I do with the company. Mr krohn has been helping me out for the past month and a half with a car. It has been difficult but with the patience and time he has given my mom and I, I could not be more grateful for him! He worked with my mom and I till the very end and has been nothing but helpful. The steering shook a lot and the vehicle drifted to the right. The next day I called Acura and explained the problem. They were more than happy to have me return the vehicle so they could repair it. While they were making repairs I walked across the street to the Toyota dealership and found exactly what I was looking for. I asked Acura if I could cancel the contract so I could purchase the other vehicle and they were very cooperative in doing so.
2019 Cadillac XT5 review
We love our XT5, it drives great and looks great. The only thing is the navigation. You have to plug in your cell phone to get it.

2011 Lexus ES 350 review
We are a Lexus family because the cars are graceful and reliable. We will never drive anything else. We have a 2006 Rx 330 with 300,000 miles and it’s still going strong. Never a problem…just the usual-brakes, tires and oil changes, batteries. I drive a 2011 ES 350 sedan that I bought used. 2 years old. Now has 110,000 miles. Still shiny and fresh looking. So nice to have a dependable vehicle. I think my drivers side seat is a little broken down and I am not a heavy person. I use a special cushion for comfort. I realize newer cars have more bells and whistles..but what’s the point of trading a great car for a bigger cup holder? We are older. When we are ready to go down to one car we will trade them both for another Lexus!!!!! Best car on the road! My son has been a top rated auto mechanic for 26 years-not American made-and he concurs. Love our cars!

2015 Lexus RX 350 review
I Have owned five Rx350’s. I live in a rural town in South Carolina and drive a lot. I have a 15 that has 207000 trouble free miles. I’ve only done normal maintenance. I bought a 14 about a year ago that was one owner with 54000. It now has 76000 on it. The 15 was built in Canada and the 14 was build in Japan. We Love the Rx350 although We don’t like the body style on the 16 up.

2014 Acura RDX review
As a proud owner of a 2014 Acura RDX, I can confidently say that I have not experienced any malfunctions with my SUV. It has been a reliable and dependable vehicle that has served me well over the years. The comfort level of the interior is something that I particularly enjoy. The seats are comfortable, and the ride is smooth. Even on long drives, I never feel fatigued or uncomfortable. Despite its age, the 2014 Acura RDX is still a competent performer on the highway. I have driven it over 100,000 miles, and it still performs admirably, achieving 30-31 mpg on the highway. The fact that I haven't experienced any malfunctions only adds to my confidence in its reliability. In terms of aesthetics, the exterior and interior of the RDX are okay compared to other SUVs in its class. But, it's not the primary reason I bought this vehicle. My focus was on a reliable and comfortable vehicle, and the RDX has certainly delivered in those areas. Overall, if you're looking for a dependable, comfortable, and practical SUV, I can wholeheartedly recommend the 2014 Acura RDX.

2017 BMW X3 review
STAR AUTO MALL: Worst car dealer EVER! I bought a 2017 BMW X3. They never checked the car! I had problems immediately! I called, emailed & texted... Star Auto Mall would NOT return my calls, texts or emails! I went to BMW dealer, and they found lots of issues! Wires hanging down, tires rubbing, etc. It cost me $480 to fix it! I billed Star Auto Mall, and it looks like they're just chucking me the finger!! AVOID these incompetent thieves! Very happy to have joined the Toyota family Saturday. David Kirby was our rep, he made our experience a breeze. I met David back in February while servicing my Kia across the street. I told him my plan then was to shop around until I could bring my boyfriend with me on a weekend. He was respectful and didn’t get pushy but still gave a high level of attention to my wants. We came in on Saturday and thankfully David was working. He provided the same level of high quality service, attention to detail, and focusing on our needs to help lock in our new 4Runner. If it wasn’t for David I honestly could have waited by get a new car but he really saved the day when I expressed that the numbers rep that jumped in came off a little “numbers only” and not as personable. The numbers guy did turn around and was patient with me explaining all my options. I know the car sales game is fast but the experience still matters so I’m happy that they were able to adjust and meet me where I was. I love our new 4Runner. Thank you David, Lori and team.
2018 INFINITI QX60 review
The car is everything that I need with the space to accommodate myself, friends, grandchildren, groceries , etc very comfortably. I love the way it handles, the design, the interior and especially the color.

2019 Volkswagen Jetta GLI review
Lot of car for the price, most of the part underneath the hood are Audi's. Even though VW went low on quality with trims and plastic. They stood on mark on technology, drivability and sportiness. Lot of fun to drive with DSG especially when shifting to manual mode. Great car overall!!

2017 Nissan Rogue review
Don’t know why people hate Nissans with CVT. Now that I’ve lived with the CVT with 140,000 miles I know I wouldn’t buy another one, but it’s been just fine, no issues. This isn’t a sporty vehicle but for 8 years and 140k miles it gets the job done every time. I just don’t get the hatred towards these cars. I do have AWD but if I were to do it over I’d drop that option. It’s expensive to maintain and truthfully I don’t go outside when the weather is bad anyway so I doubt the AWD feature has ever engaged, not even once. I plan to keep my vehicle for 10 years then get a minivan.

I had no choice, my car of 20 years, which I bought brand new in 1999 was done. With so many websites ( I looked at several), I was not sure where to go. Then someone mentioned Car Max to me. I looked on line and saw a few cars I was interested in. The next weekend I drove to Colma to checked out and test drive a couple of cars. I decided to ask about Hybrids...you had 2. I test drove one of them and could not resist. I bought it. I was very impressed with the buying process. It was quick, easy and believe it or not relaxing since the sales person completed the paper work for me. Yes, I had to sign several sheets but that was a given. Something I was dreading for the past two years, was so surprisingly easy I couldn't believe it!!!
2020 Toyota Corolla Hatchback review
This car saved me today from a car accident. I fell asleep behind the wheel and the alarm system woke me up when I got too close to the car in front of me. I had just enough time to break. This system can save a life. I am so thankful for who designed this car. Fabulous work. Very reliable, elegant, fun to drive.
