Life saver
I bought my 08 ford edge sel used. I did tune up first week of ownership and regular maintenence as scheduled. Always reliable and comfortable. Only complaint is back interior. The light in the trunk was always covered as I always had stuff in trunk and back window did not open separate from trunk door like other suvs. Unfortunately after 7 years and 100000 miles plus from me I became unconscious while driving and destroyed her. She saved me though. Impressive safety in crash. Definitely would buy again

Great guys! I was a little nervous going in and they made me feel so comfortable! The salesman was so down to earth and friendly. I got a great deal and it was a super fast transaction! Right after we left, we went down the street to get gas and realized the gas cap had a lock. The owner came to us and took care of it and filled up the gas tank! 2008 Ford Edge SE review
Better than most American compact SUVs
This a reasonable compact SUV. I bought it very cheap used as I just had moved to Saudi Arabia and I didn't have enough funds to buy new. Been quite reliable. There are few things that need to be looked out for: 1. Water pump: It is internal to engine so if it leaks coolant mixes with oil and can destroy engine. Sulution: Regular change of coolant tends to prevent premature failure. 2. PTU for AWD vehicles. That is another design blunder. They made it sealed but the oil inside actually boils up and destroys the unit. Solution: See YouTube videos and drain and refill yourself. 3. OSS/TSS are sensors for transmission. They fail early and need to be replaced along with solenoid. Transmission itself is solid. 4. Spark plugs and coils need to be changed at around 80-100k miles. They can fry the PCM if not done so timely.
