I contacted Ferguson Subaru in regards to a certified 2017 Outback that they had on their lot. I received a return contact the same day and quickly established a great relationship with Michael Altman. He was patient with all of my many questions and inquiries (I live 2.5 hours from the dealership) and I was quickly convinced that my next vehicle purchase would be a Subaru from Ferguson. We made arrangements to drive down on a Saturday morning and although Michael was sick and couldn't meet us that day he prepared Jeremy Bautista for our visit. Jeremy was equally knowledgeable about the Outback and it quickly became apparent that he was also a diehard Subaru fan. After several hours of test driving four different Outbacks we ended up buying a completely different version than we had planned - but it was the best experience I've had buying vehicles! Throughout the entire purchasing experience Ferguson's staff was exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable about the complete Subaru lineup and never employed a high pressure approach. Both Michael and Jeremy have followed up with me since taking delivery of our new Outback and have continued to offer advice and insights when asked. My only "complaint" is that I live 2.5 hours from this dealership! But I see that as on opportunity to just enjoy my 2018 3.6r Outback that much more...!

This is kind of a long story, but here goes... Let me start by saying that I am from St. Louis, MO. After totaling my SUV, I decided it was finally the perfect time to pursue my dream vehicle, a limited edition style Ram truck (previously owned in order to fit my budget.) After searching online, I found a couple of these rare trucks in Missouri within 2 hours from my home, but something also kept drawing me to a listing for said truck in Okarche, Oklahoma. Now, Okarche is almost an 8 hour drive from St. Louis, so I was REALLY hoping that one of the dealerships in Missouri would be able to fulfill my hopes and dreams instead. But while visiting one of my local places, something didn???t feel right about the truck, the dealership, or the salesperson. I got that red flag, shady, icky feeling, and that???s when I knew I had to get on a flight first thing the next morning to Oklahoma! It was kind of crazy on my part, but my contact/salesperson at Carter Chevrolet, Trevor, had already made me feel completely welcomed and comfortable through his lighthearted emails and by chatting transparently over the phone. Trevor also offered to pick me up from the airport in Oklahoma City so that I didn???t have to find my way to Okarche alone, and I accepted. (Now THAT???S service!!) But the best part was when we pulled up to the quaint little office of the Carter Chevrolet dealership...there was my truck, right up front, and it was freshly detailed, bright and shiny and beautiful, (and it was everything I had been wanting and more!) No red flags at this dealership...it was one of those moments when I knew my gut had taken me on this crazy journey for a reason ;) Carter Chevrolet is very unique. The staff is friendly and fun-loving, yet totally professional. The office atmosphere is comfortable and relaxing, so between that and a few laughs, the Carter team made me feel at home right off the bat. Last but not least, before I left, Trevor gave me bottles of water and a large bag of these amazing garlic-flavored pretzels for my 8 hour drive home. He also followed up with anCarter email to make sure I made it home safely after a looooooong exhausting day/weekend. I will be recommending Chevrolet to all my friends and family back in St. Louis...it was completely worth the trip!! :)

I waited a few weeks to write my review to let any unfair buyer's remorse pass. I have to give credit to my salesman: Bob Hunter was great to work with overall and should be credited with making the sale and follow-up service experience a better one. Bob reached out to me after my initial price request via email was turned down. He emailed and said they would be willing to work with me on the price I requested. That was good news! We decided to test drive on a Monday night, an hour before they closed. I made it clear to Bob that I was likely not purchasing that night. If all went well, I would be back the following day to make the purchase. We test drove the car, ended up really liking it, and Bob asked what it would take to drive home. I told him if they agreed to the price and concessions, I saw no reason we couldn't make it happen that night. We ended up agreeing to purchase the car that night for what we thought was a more than fair deal. I suppose any issues I had could be attributed to it being so close to their closing time. I could have done a better job of identifying issues on my end with more time. We agreed to the price, got approved for financing, and overall, it was a pretty painless experience. Two issues did arise afterwards, though. The first was we found out there was only one keyfob for the car. Admittedly, this was a personal pet peeve of the process. We called a Hyundai Dealer afterwards and got quoted over $400 for a new one. That definitely left a sour taste in my mouth and made a great deal...less great. In addition, we found after a day of driving, the driver's side door did not align properly and needed adjustment. These were things that I could have noted or remembered to ask about if I allowed myself more time. To my surprise, Bob called me today (over two weeks after purchase) and told me they located an additional keyfob for the SUV we purchased. If I were a betting man, he went out of his way to get one made. I don't know that for sure, but in the least, he secured a second key for us. This follow-up, a few weeks afterwards, definitely made the sale in my mind. We were happy with the price, but having one keyfob really sucks for a mixed-use family vehicle. If you are still wondering about the Driver's Door issue, I can credit them with at least looking at it for free. My only recommendation, and it is one that would apply to any dealer, is allow yourself ample time to look over the car before purchase and make note of all of those issues before purchasing. In the end, we're very happy buyers. We got the car we wanted, for the price we wanted, and a salesman that went out of his way to make things right after the fact when there was no additional incentive to do so (except maybe this review). I'd recommend Bob to friends and family for a great purchasing experience.

I traveled from Baton Rouge, LA to Katy, TX for this vehicle. Performance is stellar. This was a used 2018 Expedition Max (rental, I think) but nicely equipped. Purchased at about 29,000 miles. Body and interior in fantastic condition. There was only one key fob, so the dealer allowed me to purchase a 2nd one and promptly reimbursed me. The only problem I have noticed is a rattle in the sun roof. Car Fax has indicated there is a recall for some other problem. I will take it in to a dealer in Baton Rouge and hopefully have both items fixed.

My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.

We've been looking for a large SUV for a while and they my work, I've been able to rent a number of different brands. I've rented and driven, GMC, Chevy, and Ford. My wife and I decided to get the Ford Expedition Max. And it has NOT disappointed in the slightest. It has plenty of room, we carpool a lot in taking kids to school and there's never any issue. It rides smooth, love the safety features, and it's a very nice looking vehicle. We live our choice and would do it again in a heartbeat!!!

Taking the Stress and Pain out of Car Shopping

Buying a car is stressful even if you have a lot of experience. Historically, it has been time consuming, emotionally taxing and most of us go into a dealership with far less knowledge than we ought for a purchase of the magnitude of a car. Salespeople have (understandable) pressures to move inventory and even the most fair-minded is looking to get the highest price they can get away with. It is harrowing at best. With my experience with Carvana, all of these stresses were eliminated. I browsed inventory as widely or narrowly as I wanted, for as long as I needed. I could dictate pricing ranges that were suitable for me. The car I received was *exactly* the car I examined online, right down to some inconsequential bumper scuffs. Beyond this, and *absolutely unlike* any other online business, I could speak to a *real human being* within a few minutes of calling (I had six or seven conversations with Carvana agents over the 3 1/2 weeks from car selection to car receipt). They either had the answers at hand, or researched them and replied promptly with a follow up call. Delivery coordination and drop off (and test drive) were *painless no pressure* experiences???all preparatory contract paperwork was prepared in advance leaving only title transfer stuff to take care of. It took 45 minutes, tops. (I transacted entirely in cash, so I cannot speak to the process when there is financing.) Honestly, the biggest delay was on *my* end getting the insurance transferred (having to wait on hold with my insurance company for 15 minutes). The car was 100% was described???absolutely no surprises. The images on the web site for my car were not stock images. What I saw was what I got. Naturally, it was clean, filled up with a full tank, with new tires and the whole nine yards. Even got a ???free??? Carvana reusable coffee cup and key chain. Nice touch. The part that I found the most extraordinary was the 7-day money-back guarantee, which pretty much covers a change of mind unless you get into an accident or drive it a ton (over 400 miles, and even then, they???ll take it back after a modest per-mile-over-400 charge). All in all, I was dreading buying a car (and selling my used one) and Carvana made it pleasurable. I am absolutely recommending them to all of my friends and coworkers and I hope (as a relatively new company) they keep up the excellent work.

I applied for financing through other dealers and the terms were not realistic for me. A Carvana truck was in neighborhood, that is how I learned about them. Impressed at their prices and inventory, I applied on Friday 13th, had my 2013 Cadillac ATS on Monday 16th. The best part is the financing terms are affordable. Thank you, Carvana! Jeff Olsen, who sold me my lovely VW was/is a very good man to deal with. He explained all the moving parts of the inside and that was invaluable as I rarely read the manual. He was quite caring and friendly. When I purchased the car, the driver front tire was low and the sales people filled it with air for my test drive and when I came back to pick it up, it was again low and it was again filled up. I thought nothing of it. I had to fill up the tire 2 more times so I went to Pomps Tire and was told there was a hole in the wall of my tire. I called up Scaffidi and spoke with Jeff and an appointment was made for a free tire replacement on Friday of that week. That was so nice. However, when I got there, the service man said he could not find a 'lock' lug for the tire and that I had to come back another day for a certified VW mechanic to work on it. It was 530 and I guess he was gone by then. . I was a little put off but I had plans to dine in Stevens Point any way, but I was more worried about the lug nut lock. SOOOOOO I returned on my prescribed date, for my tire exchange. I was greeted by that nice lady in service, I went to the waiting room and watched TV and thankfully, the VW certified repairman was able to find lug nut lock (it was under the spare tire). So I got in my fixed car and drove off merrily, loving that car all the way. Even with the kerfuffle regarding the lug nut, I find every one at Scaffidi to be so darned courteous, especially that lady in maintenance and Jeff. I am happy I went to Scaffidi and I am very happy with my car

Great room inside for the whole family. The captains chairs provide a great walk path to the roomy rear seats where the older kids prefer to ride! A far cry from the last 3 row vehicle we had when nobody wanted to be in the back row. Fuel economy is a little less desirable than I was hoping for but it is good for how large the expedition max is. The 360 camera makes parking it much easier. When driving it, the vehicle doesn’t feel nearly as large as one would think by looking at it!
