Reliable Hyundai review
Had a great experience working with Ace and the dealership. I live out of state and was traveling and reached out about the truck. We had a number of conversations back and forth and were able to come to an agreement. Ace was nice to work with when I got to the dealership. After the sale he and a teammate helped me return my rental car out at the airport. Was a huge help to get me on the road and headed home. The Salesperson Made an Amazing Car Buying Experience We went to CarMax in Independence to look for a mid-sized SUV with relatively low mileage at a reasonable price, and we found what we were looking for. A 2022 Chevy Equinox with less than 19,000 miles, in great condition and at a price and payment terms that are acceptable and affordable. I have bought a few cars in the past and I always went to “traditional” dealerships to purchase them. This was my first experience with CarMax and I can honestly say that I was blown away by the relaxing and laid back, yes I said relaxing and laid back, car buying experience! No sales pressure, no haggling over price, just a straight up purchase with no hidden or confusing terms or agreements. Everything was laid out on the table. Plain and simple. The salesperson, Austin Hubbard, was a pleasure to work with. We were facing a very difficult personal situation that could have easily made the car buying experience extremely challenging and stressful. Austin was kind, patient and understanding throughout the entire process. From the moment he greeted us at the front door until the moment we drove away, Austin was there to provide help, guidance and even some words of encouragement. He more than once told us, “I have your back”, and his actions backed that up. Austin is a credit to the CarMax organization and they can be proud that such a fine person has chosen to be a part of their team. Thank you, Austin!
2020 Ford Explorer review
Wife's car ,working at home not many miles low 20k as of2024 June. Still I wonder about trans fluid because of time. Problem that bugs me is the radio. Static in AM off and on ,and of course the business station 1220am about the market. UGH!! Third lease of explorer, so low in miles ,made it a purchase. 🤞👍

2020 Ford Explorer review
I currently own a 2020 Ford Explorer XLT (used, bought with 50k miles). Before this I used to own a 2015 BMW X3 Xdrive28i. Now people reading this would be astounded to hear such a bad review for a german luxury vehicle. IT. WAS. TRASH. Sorry, BMW fanboys, but that is true. Anyways, coming back to the Explorer, it was a lot, lot better. Better mileage, Better comfort, A ton of space to even pack up to 5 large suitcases and five big boxes with only the third row down. Considerable performance and power for a massive three row SUV, compared to a “apocalypse ready, tough and rugged” Jeep Wrangler. Very sturdy car, fun to drive around. And really handy when you’re like me who decided to hit the road from Miami, FL to Cypress, TX (😁). I was worried whether evreything would fit in, but apparently there was way more space than that! Also if you are a parent with an infant, you will have NO problem fitting in a child seat. Another thing is that I use an iPhone and my wife uses a Samsung. It is compatible with both carplay and android auto. Now the best part: this is the most stylish SUV under $30k I have ever seen except for a Jeep Grand Cherowkee. My final verdict: The best, affordable, 6-7 seater SUV you can get on the auto market. And I am saying this not only from a driver-standpoint, but a parent as well. I have read other people’s reviews, and some will disagree with me. But after all, it is an automobile. Whether it be a million dollar Rolls-Royce or a Bugatti or a Ford, it is still developing. I am proud of what Ford can do. I highly recommend to those who are looking for a reliable and safe car, buy a Ford. They are incredible.

My wife and I wandered into Sakelaris Ford looking for a unicorn: an F-150 XL Regular Cab Short Bed 4x4 with the 5.0L V8. Ben Tinker took that challenge head-on, searching the internet for hours. Once we realized just how rare this truck was—after contacting every Ford dealer within 300 miles only to learn that either the vehicle was already sold or the dealership had “upgraded” it (for an additional $20–30K)—we thought about giving up. But not Ben. He had a mission. He widened his search to the entire country. Over the next few days, Ben reached out to practically every Ford dealer between here and both coasts. He stayed in constant contact with us, telling us not to lose hope and to keep our eyes on the prize. Then he found it—the 🦄. A nearly untouched F-150 XL RCSB that matched our exact specs. With the ease that comes from years of experience, Ben and his sales manager worked the phones, convincing the other dealership to let go of their prized truck and ship it to us. Now the fun part: negotiations. The sales manager drove a fair bargain and worked with us on price. Even after taking a small hit on the delivery cost, we felt completely comfortable pulling the trigger. We were approved over the phone and signed all the paperwork effortlessly through DocuSign. Truck is home, we’re thrilled, and we couldn’t have done it without Ben and the team at Sakelaris Ford. Highly recommend!
