I went to 3 dealers here in Asheville; Honda, Ford and Prestige Subaru looking for a vehicle with the best gas mileage and the most cargo space. The extra perk is it's also got AWD! And that's my new 2017 Impreza 5-door. I contacted Subaru through their internet service first and connected with Jason Wicks. He made it all happen smoothly, timely, efficiently and comfortably right from the start. Being a single senior, it can be a bit intimidating walking into a dealership. But Jason's welcoming and straightforward nature made the entire process actually enjoyable. As soon as you walk through the doors of the showroom, the entire team makes you feel welcome. I had an alternator problem and didn't make it to Asheville before breaking down on I-40. The service department called a wrecker for me and in 45minutes I was at the dealership. They confirmed the diagnosis, ordered the part for tomorrow, and gave me a loaner car to get home. I got an absolute steal on a low mileage lifted Tacoma that's the envy of all who behold its magnificence. I couldn't be more proud of my truck, or more pleased with Sam & Dave's. I contacted Sam & Dave's through their website and got a response from Jonathan within hours. I called him and told him which of his trucks caught my eye, expressing that it was near but not quite within my budget. He was direct and no-nonsense in responding with the lowest price he could offer, with no sales pressure whatsoever. I struggled over the next week to find a better deal on the same truck anywhere from Southwest Virginia to South Florida, both from auto dealers and from private owners. I couldn't. My credit union loan agent was even impressed with the price. Jonathan continued to honor the price he quoted me with steadfast honesty. There were no doc fees or any other unpleasant surprises: the price he quoted was the exact dollar amount of the check he accepted (not including tax and tags of course, which I'll handle at the county clerk's office back here in TN). He even agreed without debate to fill up the gas tank, give it a wash, and replace a missing tire valve stem cap while we completed the sale. A few people have given Sam & Dave's unfavorable reviews. Most seem to come from customers expecting the reliability of a new Honda from cars of unreasonable age or mileage. Caveat emptor, people. If your budget is less than 10 grand, you're going to end up with someone else's problems. On the other hand, if you limit your choices to vehicles with low mileage, I think you'll be pleased with Sam and Dave's.

We looked for about 6 weeks and spent hours at 7 different area dealerships. We were wanting to upgrade from the Kia Soul we had to something that would seat an extra person comfortably and had AWD and most importantly, something that would fit within our budget. We were very specific and upfront as to what we could afford. We had "fair" credit (634) and a fixed monthly budget. We went to Hyundai of Asheville because we had purchased most recently there. Horrible experience! Lots of young, wet-behind-the-ear staff. We were told in a very condescending manner that we had "unrealistic expectations" and that was after we were pressured into staying past the time we told them we couldn't do what they offered. We went to Kia and had a great experience with Ben Brendle, but weren't able to get an APR we were comfortable with financing. Brandon Braswell said he'd keep working on it. A couple weeks went by and we received a phone call saying that they had something for us. We returned to Paramount Kia and met Jodi Biltoten. We arrived about 6:00pm after my husband got off work. Jodi showed us an AWD 2015 Sorento with less than 25,000 miles and certified pre-owned. We test drove it and it was exactly we had been looking for - complete with optional third row seating for extra passengers. Jodi was very knowledgable and extremely helpful and SUPER nice. Brandon Braswell was able to take our Kia Soul in trade and worked with banks to get us an APR that was 2.0% less than what we'd been offered at the other dealerships! Jordan Ogle was very thorough with explaining our paperwork and answered all questions. We have been thrilled with our deal and new-to-us SUV. Thanks again for all your hard work, Jodi, Brandon, and Jordan. Especially since we were there until 11:00pm...3 hours after closing! Paramount Kia has the same great customer service and professionalism that they claim to have in their advertising.

I recommend Explorer those looking for comfort and spacious car interior. Everything is well designed and looks luxurious all over. I purchased this two months ago and might be a little soon to review its performance but so far I am happy with what I got. I just don't recommend the dealership where I bought from : " Ford of Orange, CA" stay away from them.

My wife and I were celebrating our 36th anniversary at the Grove Park Inn. We were on our way back to South Carolina when my 2010 Chevy Traverse would not shift out of low gear on acceleration. I called the service dept and spoke with Mike Henthorn. He said to bring it in and they would look at it. When I arrived I was impressed with the cleanliness of the Dealership and the quick service. Mike said he would check the engine codes and see what came up. He did not recommend a fluid change because of the high mileage and the fact that I had never had the trany serviced before. He said it could loosen up some debris and cause it to fail on the way home. He could have said the opposite and made some money for the department but he did not! The transmission was working ok when I got there so he made the safer call. He did not charge me for the code reading and we were on our way in 30 minutes. I would like to commend Mike for his honesty and integrity and thank the dealership for their great service. I have been places before where they try to take advantage of people from out of town, this was not the case at Sunshine Chevrolet.

I travel rather far to take my car to BOYD'S CHEVY. My friends just shake their heads and think it is foolish. If they only came here, they would know why i insist on BOYD'S. First ; They schedule to my convenience. The receptionists that answer the phones are pleasant and work hard to transfer your call to the correct department or person who can understand your situation and solve your car issues. Second: The waiting area is so nice , offering a variety of drinks and a TV. Third:What is important to me is how Boyd's employees handle my car while their possession. My Z06 is an extremely nice car. I show it, have won a trophy with it and expect that my car is totally taken care of while any employee has it in their possession. Boyd's employees show respect towards the car and the car owner. 4th:Steve, the service advisor, is very pleasant to deal with. He is polite and takes the time needed to explain the situation. The day i was in with my car, i thought i had a problem with the cruise control. It actually turned out to be a switch that was accidently tuned off. I felt so foolish, BUT the employees were unbelievably thoughtful and kind. 5: They take their time when explaining your car to you. Plus the employees give you their time just talking to to you. They demonstrate how important you are to them. During this appt the service technician and i took my z06 for a ride so it could be demonstrated how the mechanism worked. It was not "broken". It had worked all along. 6: The employees were very thoughtful. Eveyone was so nice about the whole experience. The person who worked on my car was awsome. I believe his name is Richard. He even took the time to pair my new phone with the car. 7: Everyone always thanks me for giving them the opportunity to work on my car. 8: At the end of my appointment, several employees were around the car with us just talking. It was a very relaxed atmosphere and it felt like friends getting together. I am very happy with the service and the over all treatment i get at BOYD'S CHEVY. 10: I am especially impressed with the owner of BOYD'S. His employees are comforable enough to take the time to converse with the customers. They do not seem concerned about taking the time to discuss with their customers topics other than cars. The BOYD'S employees don't seemed to be nervous about being watched every 5 minutes, for lack of a better word, when socializing. This kind of work atmosphere...putting the customer first...plus the excellent service of the employees such as Steve, Richard and the young lady who meets us when we pull in, the excellent service to my car, and the courtesy they show me will keep me coming back to BOYD'S.

We had been given a name by an acquaintance of a person they knew who worked at Ken Wilson. Upon arrival we were greeted by Evan. We told him the name and he told us that person was in the used car office but if we went to see him he could also help us with a new car, which was what we were interested in. Evan was so open and polite and wanted to make sure if we had a referral to someone we got hooked up with them. We decided we would just work with Evan (didn't know the other person, it was just a name). We are extremely glad we did! He quickly found out what our priorities were and what price point we were looking for. He explained various features on the cars and checked to make sure he wasn't overwhelming us with information. We looked at every Edge on the lot! When it came time to work out the details, we were extremely happy with how painless the process was! Not much back and forth and we were able to work with Evan all the way thru the deal. We weren't shuffled off to someone else for them to wring out the last dollar on the deal. Delivery was prompt and complete and we drove away very happy customers. Our service was one notch above excellent, it was OUTSTANDING!

My initial reaction after owning it for a week is that the 2012 explorer is a drivers' car. It is a comfortable ride, but you do feel the road. The seating is comfortable and roomy in the first two row. Third row seating is not for big people. The second row seats 3 if the middle person is a small child. The electronics take a while to get set, but seem good once you figure out how to use them all.

Hugh and Hunter were very helpful in our purchases. My son had gone to purchase a truck and I just went for the ride, had no intention to purchase. But after talking with Hunter and looking at different books on cars, I changed my mind and purchased a 2017 Escape Titanium. Hugh brought the car up for me to test drive and both were very considerate because I am an amputee. I have bought several cars from Ken Wilson and have a very high opinion of all the employees working there. They don't let you wait for service and make sure you are comfortable in all dealings. Highly recommend dealership to everyone.

My husband and I had researched in depth the 2016 Ford Edge. We had decided to visit two or three dealerships that had cars that fit our requirements. One was Taylor Ford. In summary the buying experience was a pleasure. We first met Mr. Gordon Prince, the sales manager. He greeted us with a smile and relaxed disposition. They went the extra mile. When we picked up the car Mr. Cash spent a great deal of time reviewing the technical features which can be overwhelming. He was kind, patient, and presented the information in a simple and understandable manner. This was greatly appreciated. We have bought many cars over our lifetime. I'm hard to impress when it comes to dealerships, but Taylor Ford did just that. I found a certified pre-owned that was almost exactly what I was looking for, and the purchasing process was oh so pleasant as they skip all the back and forth haggling. Their price couldn't be beat in a 200-mile radius. I had to have one issue serviced right away, and the service department could not have been more thorough and courteous. Before now I'd been a GMC person, but the 2016 Ford Explorer has really impressed me on many many levels. Couldn't be more satisfied, with the Explorer and Taylor Ford.

This car looks 'classy', has lots of 'bells and whistles', lots of horsepower, very 'cushy' inside. Sadly, had to say good bye to our Jeep Sahara; she was not well. We'll miss her looks, but we'll enjoy the smooth ride, and cush of our Explorer.

I came to Taylor's just to look at options about downsizing my large SUV to a smaller version. Sean Cash came out as I was looking at the Explorer's and started showing me all the options and practically had me sold on it by his vast knowledge of the vehicle and his thorough demonstration. He was so nice and accommodating and made my trading experience with Taylor's exceptional!! I was very pleased to be able to drive away in my new to me Explorer. Sean is top-notch!!! I also have to add that Dean Howell is by far the best general manager, hands down. He is the most HONEST and genuine manager we have ever dealt with and we have traded many times over the years. He went above and beyond to give us the best deal even though the vehicle was already priced at a competitive rate. It really was just an awesome, smooth buying experience!! I highly recommend them!!

The fifth generation Explorer is a fantastic offering in its class. The Explorer Platinum offers features that compete with luxury brands (first row heated/cooled/massage seats, lane keep, adaptive cruise), and in 52,000 miles I haven't had an issue so far. The 4WD system handles great in the snow, and the 3.5L twin turbo V6 offers plenty of power. The second row captain's chairs can be moved forward to offer third row occupants livable legroom, and there's still plenty of cargo space behind that. It handles well, tows well and is all around the best vehicle I've owned. I would recommend this SUV over any other in its class.
