The Salesperson Made an Amazing Car Buying Experience We went to CarMax in Independence to look for a mid-sized SUV with relatively low mileage at a reasonable price, and we found what we were looking for. A 2022 Chevy Equinox with less than 19,000 miles, in great condition and at a price and payment terms that are acceptable and affordable. I have bought a few cars in the past and I always went to “traditional” dealerships to purchase them. This was my first experience with CarMax and I can honestly say that I was blown away by the relaxing and laid back, yes I said relaxing and laid back, car buying experience! No sales pressure, no haggling over price, just a straight up purchase with no hidden or confusing terms or agreements. Everything was laid out on the table. Plain and simple. The salesperson, Austin Hubbard, was a pleasure to work with. We were facing a very difficult personal situation that could have easily made the car buying experience extremely challenging and stressful. Austin was kind, patient and understanding throughout the entire process. From the moment he greeted us at the front door until the moment we drove away, Austin was there to provide help, guidance and even some words of encouragement. He more than once told us, “I have your back”, and his actions backed that up. Austin is a credit to the CarMax organization and they can be proud that such a fine person has chosen to be a part of their team. Thank you, Austin!
2016 Ford Flex review
2022 and running since 2016.SEL, not bad,missing a few things that probably only Limited has. Wish I knew. I would buy it again (until it breaks first time, and then, not).

2016 Ford Flex review
Great family car! I used to drive a flex, and ended up buying a Chevrolet equinox. It worked for a while, but we noticed we needed more space and our children weren’t getting enough air in the back (there are no rear vents on the equinox). When we were looking for a bigger car, I immediately thought of the flex! There are four air vents on the ceiling in the back… A third row, and tons of space! The ride is also super smooth… Huge difference in the suspension of what I was driving before. You are even able to tow with this car! So impressed and definitely recommend it

2016 Ford Flex review
Have been very pleased with the fuel economy (getting 18-21 locally and 28 to 31 on the interstate highways). Really like and become dependent upon the rear view camera when maneuvering in parking lots.

My wife and I found the GMC Terrain we wanted on CarGurus after previously test-driving a similar vehicle at another dealership that was asking nearly $4,000 more than the listed price at Bob Howard Buick GMC. After seeing the difference, I decided to call Bob Howard and was connected with Ricky Schulz. I have purchased several vehicles over the years, and I can honestly say Ricky provided one of the best car-buying experiences I?ve ever had. I explained that I already had financing arranged and simply wanted an out-the-door price. Ricky immediately got to work and provided exactly what I asked for with no pressure or games. That weekend, while attending my son?s track meet in Oklahoma City, we decided to stop by unannounced to see the vehicle in person. Ricky immediately dropped what he was doing, took us to the overflow lot, and showed us the exact Terrain we had been searching for. To my surprise, the final numbers were actually slightly lower than what I had originally been quoted. Communication throughout the entire process was smooth, transparent, and stress-free. Ricky was honest, personable, and easy to work with from start to finish. I ultimately purchased the vehicle and could not be happier with the experience. This vehicle exceeded my expectations. A ton of room, ample power outlets and cup holders. Handles well in all weather. Inexpensive to maintain. Probably my favorite!
