Took delivery of a Genesis G90 in March and am very, very pleased. The ride, handling, technology, materials, build quality, quietness and performance are excellent. The twin turbo V6 is an absolute gem - even more responsive than the very good V8s in other Genesis and Equus cars I?ve owned. In my opinion, the G90 is close to the equal of a similarly equipped S-Class that costs $45,000 more. The G90 does not equal the Mercedes in prestige or status and probably never will. But it's a fine, world-class luxury car at an outstanding price.

My 2026 "high-line euro car" was recently repurchased by the manufacturer. It presented an opportunity to rethink my brand loyalty and look at comparable options in the crowded SUV segment. I have always admired the Genesis SUV's and with the repurchase complete, I did a deep dive researching and asking all about Genesis vehicles in general and Genesis SUVs in particular. I test drove a GV70 Sport Prestige and a GV80 3.5T Prestige and decided it was time to move from high performance and handling to comfort and luxury. With my decision made it was time for the hunt to start with a nearby Genesis store. After a week-long and unproductive tennis match it was time to look elsewhere. Using their online email feature, I shared my interest in the GV80 along with my price, terms, and conditions. Within 30 minutes I received a telephone call from Jay, one of the Sales Managers, assuring me he had the GV80 in a variety of colors and could / would meet my price, terms, and conditions. Jay staged a few color choices just outside the showroom prior to our arrival. He worked with us to expand our search while fairly, accurately and thankfully pointing out pros AND cons for each of the vehicles in which we expressed interest. I met Michael Krantz, the AutoNation Sales Representative who assigned to me by the Manager of the Service Department who I had met through my daughter, Shelby, who has having her car serviced (she drives a Ford Bronco) when I bought a car on March 19th at AutoNation when Shelby and I asked for a great salesperson to help us. Michael spent a lot of time listening to my reasons for wanting to downsize my car and how great it would be do have a truck for once (I was also moving this same week and that truck came in handy).
