I recently purchased a 2026 GMC Sierra 1500 from Ed Morse Sawgrass Chevrolet, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. David Ocker was our salesperson, and he made the whole process easy. He was knowledgeable about the truck, answered every question we had, and never made us feel pressured or rushed. The pricing was fair and straightforward, no games or surprise add ons at the end. They also gave us the best trade in offer we had seen after checking a few other dealers. Once we decided on the vehicle, the paperwork moved quickly and we were done in under an hour. If you're in the market for a new truck, I'd recommend asking for David. Great experience overall.

2026 GMC Sierra 1500 review
I bought the AT 4 version. Loaded. Has good ground clearance. It's powered with a 3.0 l turbocharged diesel. Has lots of horsepower and torque. I've had no problem but I talked to my friend who's a certified mechanic and they're having a lot of problems with the engine blowing up at very low mileage. A lot of the time less than 15,000. Some of them have problems with the thrust bearings failing causing increased crankshaft play back and forth to the point where the timing chain and the rubber belt that runs the oil pump can fail. The engine has been described as grenading. They're basically self-destructs. There's a specific power code that indicates low oil pressure and allowed rattle sound before it finally fails. I heard that the engines were on back order, so if you're one of the unfortunates you can plan on waiting 10 or 12 weeks or longer to get your truck back. They have to remove the cab completely to swap motors. But overall I love the truck. It's a big improvement over the 2022 I just traded in.

I made arrangements to drive 3 hours to the dealership from my home in Virginia, and met with Marqus Brooks, the salesman handling my sale. He was very courteous and professional. He was able to explain different options available to me regarding extended warranty, and assisted in completing the sale. Since I didn’t have a trade in, I was able to put a sizable down payment and financed the balance. The truck was freshly washed, and had a full tank of gas. I appreciated doing business with them, and would do it again in the future.
