2024 GMC Terrain review

Absolutely LOVE this car is one of my favorites by far. Midsize SUV with all the features of a full size luxury vehicle. Can’t beat the heated seats, power lift gate, and the amazing panoramic sunroof they added on these models. Found the truck I was interested in online on a Sunday, got a text from Big Mike on Monday morning. Super amazing gentleman. I had meetings all day but we walked through what I was looking for via text. We had a deal mapped out by Wednesday and by Friday morning, I was on a plane flying to Detroit. Buying a car sight, unseen is always a little nerve racking but I knew Big Mike would take care of me. After 500 miles in the air, Ryan from City Wide picked me up at the airport to transport me to the dealership. Ryan was awesome and very friendly. Really a great guy to pass the trip time. I get in and Big Mike greets me. After test drive, found a few unforeseen issues that just comes with used cars. That is the thing that people need to remember, these are used cars. There is a reason they are $20k instead of the MSRP of $60k. So, Big Mike and I discussed some options. Ended up they had another newer and less mileage truck that had all the features I wanted. Big Mike and his team really put in work to get the deal done so we were both walking away with smiles and a good comfortable feeling. Can’t thank you and your team enough! Excellent experience and good to see there are honest, reliable and caring used car dealers out there. City Wide will definitely get my business again when time to upgrade or get another vehicle.

2023 GMC Terrain review
We purchased the Denali Terrain 2023. The car is great. I have had four knee surgeries and needed a car to get in and out easily and comfort seating. The controls for adjusting the seat just the way you like are great. I am troubled also by back problems and totally love the heated seat when needed. Sometimes I just want to ride around and turn the heat on and adjust seat so my back feels better. The different controls and are numerous. I love the safety control warnings and info with traffic. The screen is fabulous and helps so much. When ever I park I like to drive in and park and then hold on brake put it in reverse so the screen then comes on and shows how I parked. I like the levers in cargo area for putting seats down and also like how flat they sit. Plenty of room. The back seat is roomy even when person in front is back. Enjoy being up higher than a vehicle. I feel I can see more and it also makes me feel safer. The Terrain looks beautiful and love all the chrome in front. The car seems bumpy but not as bad as our last. The roads are in rough shape here. It has a lot of pick-up my husband demonstrated that to me and he wont be doing that again unless it is necessary. It is a turbo 4 cylinder and can not believe the power you feel. All in all Iove the car and getting good mileage. Purchased car from Boucher in Waukesha. They were not pushy. Explained everything in detail and were very fair. Great place to purchase!

2026 GMC Terrain review
This will be my 3rd GMC Terrain. Each has been reliable for me, and on my 1st put over 200,000 miles on before trading in. for this 2026 I traded in my 2020 with almost 100,000 miles, but the deal was right and came at a good time. I love the comfort of this year's version, the acceleration and performance outdo previous versions. Spacious for 4, and room enough for 5, with plenty of cargo space. Compared to other cars of similar size and style, this one was right!

2013 GMC Terrain review
check the oil every tank fill, dealer advised if it dropped too far it would scrap the timing chain, interference engine lock up. a 6 inch strip of paint blistered off the roof, the rear deck won't set down horizontal (everything slides to the rear. rides like a limo, handles like a dream, no real probs. 168k on the odo.

I always bought the GMC Acadia (4 times) but decided to try the terrain. I absolutely love it and it's a great car for zipping around in town. I would take it for a weekend trip but not on a long trip as it doesn't have a lot of cab room, but for two people it is fine

2021 GMC Terrain review
READ PLEASE I love my Terrain. DO NOT get the 1.5 L. My engine has barely made it over 100,000 I have had $6k of repairs in less than a year. Things keep going wrong now. I had NO issues before. Catalytic converter went out 75-85k miles. My turbo was just replaced. Just beware of this type of engine… every mechanic that worked on it shared this is not uncommon for this type. I would definitely get another terrain but not the 1.5!

2016 GMC Terrain review
I purchased my 2016 GMC Terrain SLT in 2018 as a gently used vehicle with only 21,000 miles on it. I never had issues with it. I kept it regularly serviced and had to replace tires. At now over 93,000 it has been a comfortable and very reliable car. The only feature I wished it had was rear air conditioning. Living here in the SE it gets hot and it takes a “minute” to get the back of the vehicle cooled down. However, I rarely have back seat passengers, and thankfully, the really hot weather lasts only a few months! I have been very pleased with this car and would recommend it to others. I traded it in a week ago for a larger car only because I need the room for a grandchild, and my elderly parents.

I had my 2020 Terrain for 5 years before I had any major issues out of it. My brake booster needed replaced. After about a month of it being out the shop someone hit and totaled it. Very sad day. I love my Terrain

2019 GMC Terrain review
I have owned my Terrain for 3 months now, and am absolutely in love with it. Super smooth, great pick up, and I get a lot of complements on both the exterior and interior design. I average 26.3 MPG city and highway combined, which is not bad considering I live in Florida so my AC is never off in the car.

2019 GMC Terrain review
I brought this truck in 2019. I kept taking it back to the dealership to get tweaked several times. Once it was figured out, never got any problems ever again. A little weak on the power side, but, other than that, its a magnificent vehicle. A total work horse. Great on gas. It is totally worth it.
