2023 Volkswagen Atlas review
I have a 2019 Atlas. This car is amazing and mind you I can't kill it. My car has 188,000 miles on it. The drive is smooth and very reliable. It has the room to fit all 5 of my kiddos perfectly and enough room in the trunk to even fit a wonderfold wagon with all the seats up. I highly recommend if you want a good SUV with a lot of room in it

2020 Volkswagen Jetta review
I've owned VW's off and on for years. My first Jetta was purchased in the 90's. Good car. It was nimble, comfortable and had really good gas mileage. It was different from the "Bug" and "Bus" but quite pleasing to own and look at. My current Jetta is a 2020 model year and I enjoy its looks, comfort, mileage and nimbleness. Volkswagens are truly the "peoples car".

From the moment I arrived, Isaac made sure to let me talk, explain my issues. I explained to Isaac, that I purchased this 2002 Monte Carlo SS off the showroom floor in 2002. Over the years, I have put thousands of dollars into making it not only look great, but sound great as well. Nothing has ever needed replacing, I just upgraded to high performance parts. This 2002 Monte Carlo SS has 55000 original miles. This car is so important to me. My plan is to give this to my Grandson. And I want it perfect. Isaac sent my car back to the mechanics and stated he would call me and keep me informed about everything. He didn't let me down once. I'm a U S Army, Vietnam Veteran. I served in the Honor Guard for 1 year. Performing as the Funeral Escort and holding and folding our American Flag that would be presented to their surviving member. Isaac, and the mechanics who work here at Salt Lake Valley Chevrolet, deserve not just a pat on the back. But an award showing that they are appreciated. A great start would be the waiting room. I remember going in, there would be coffee, donuts, and fruit. Not a thing... If it wasn't for the first impressions of Isaac, the many phone calls keeping me updated. And the fantastic work of your mechanics. I would have went somewhere else, and left 1 star. And 1 sentence. Because of them. And the fact that they knew how important this car is to me. I'm leaving 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Isaac, brings great credit to Salt Lake Valley Chevrolet, and I am Honored to have met him. Thank You!

2021 Kia K5 review
A lot of people complain about the pirelli tires going bad too soon and brakes also. I personally had no issues with either one. The tires lasted well beyond their mileage rating and brakes didn't need replacement until after 4.5 years. I have had pretty much zero issues with my gt-line. People need to realize that these are not race cars and quit driving them like they are racecars and tires and brakes might last a little longer.

2025 GMC Sierra 2500 review
So far so good! This truck is the nicest truck I have ever driven. The stance, ride comfort and options are top notch. I went from a 2023 High Country that was having drive train issues but had all the creature comforts that you would expect in a top of the line truck. With the lack of confidence in that particular models 10 speed transmission issues, it became necessary to reestablish my confidence in my General Motors product.

2025 Jeep Wrangler 4xe review
This is my first jeep in years, and even though the 4xe gets a bad reputation, it has been great so far. It has tons of power, gives the full jeep experience, and we have barely spent any money on gas - which has been great with the way prices are right now.

2023 Jeep Wrangler 4xe review
Approaching 25,000 miles and we haven’t had any issues. I actually enjoy choosing whether to run on electric or gas based on what my journey is. If you just put it in hybrid mode, you’re not utilizing the efficiency of the engine. My advice, think about your journey. If I’m jumping on the highway to then head into the city, I run it on gas on the highway then switch to all electric in the city -no point wasting the electric with highway driving! Then I use up the last of my electric when google tells me I’m X miles from home when I still have X miles of electric remaining to use it all up. When we just do local drives less than 25 miles (grocery, day care pick up etc.) we can literally run off electric only for days, even weeks. It just takes thinking about what your journey involves. Crawling traffic for a 5 mile slow down ahead, I’m on gas until I hit that traffic, then switch to electric. We’ve taken this Jeep (Willys) through plenty of winter storms with feet of snow and ice, never needed to use chains with its AWD or 4WD to choose from. Hopefully the great reliability continues.

2025 Honda Ridgeline review
Love my Ridgeline! Bought the RTL+ with the HPD black tires. The interior is by far the biggest of the midsize trucks. Plus having 6 cyl/AWD is huge. Gets good mileage. I am averaging around 22mpg. Smooth rolling...like butter. Plus all the storage is such a game-changer. I tried the Frontier/Tacoma...they were decent but for the packaging, it was a no-brainer. The Taco was more than $10k for lower trim. The Ridgeline has premium leather and is just by far a better choice for me.

2025 Polestar 3 review
I picked up my Polestar 3, single motor long range, less than a month ago on a lease program with lots of incentives. It has been a great car to drive and it does get great range, 350 miles, on a charge. The Jupiter paint is unique and the first of its kind in the Southeast region. Wool blend seats are very comfortable. It has plenty of pick up and handles very well . I am very impressed. As a Volvo owner since 1974, there is a lot of Volvo in the Polestar. The 3 is built in the Volvo Ridgeville, SC plant so there was no tariff worries. I highly recommend this car!

2019 Jeep Compass review
In my many years of car driving and ownership, I have rarely had a better vehicle than my 2019 Jeep Compass Latitude. It has been reliable, comfortable, fun to drive and, for its' size and type, very good on gas. In April, I will have been driving "Lattie"for 5 years. My upkeep has been minimal. She is pretty and still looks new. This vehicle is such a pleasure to drive. Handling and response are excellent. Controls are super easy to manage and absolutely love the heated seat and steering wheel. On a long trip, it is very comfortable (yes, I have ridden in the back seat, too) and fuel economy was just great...fully loaded with air-conditioner on and travelling at highway speeds gave me 30+ mpg. Really can't complain. My Neon didn't do any better. This is a great vehicle. Oh, and I had leased it new, and purchased it when the lease was up..that's how good this car is!

2025 Ford Bronco Sport review
I have had my Bronco Sport Big Bend for 6 months now and has far exceded my expectations! It is amazing in winter conditions of snow and ice, has a great power boost race mode which amazes me since mi e has the 1.3L engine. I average 30mpg without babying it and seat comfort, space, sunroof/moonroof is great. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a 4×4 SUV.

2022 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited review
The Sahara high altitude with the sky one touch roof is awesome. The one touch opens or closed in 15 seconds. This is a game changer as we do not hesitate to open the roof in all different weather conditions. Reason is if bad weather or hot weather gets us we can have the roof closed in little time. The ride is very smooth. Noise is low at highway speeds. Overall, we really all the accessories and sound system. Definitely, recommend.

2024 Ford Edge review
I owned a 2017 Fusion Platinum and did not want to get a SUV. Knowing the Edge was based on the same platform, I gave the 2024 a spin. I was impressed. It drove, handled, braked, and steered very well. I drove many cars, and even though Ford had not redesigned in a while, it was more enjoyable to drive than the Audi Q5 and Lexus RX. I rated the value a 3 because it is expensive. The Titanium Elite price is in the Lexus/Audi ballpark. I really wanted the Audi because I have owned some in the past, but the Edge was more sporty and more comfortable. I drove the ST and I was surprised that it did not feel a lot faster. This wqas the same with the Fusion. You can tell the ST was faster, but it did not jump off the line like I was expecting. I was disappointed the edge lost some equipment from the past as it is being phased out. So I added it. I added the hood insulation, the engine cover, the cargo cover, LED lighted sill plates, and the laminated acoustic glass on the front doors, all purchased from FORD dealers to make sure they were the real deal. I also added the keyless entry keypad (securicode). I was really disappointed they deleted securicode. The interior is not flashy like an Audi, but I like that it is understated. The carmello seat and door inserts make the car very audi-ish and special. It is too bad this is the last year. The Lincoln Nautilus lives on as the next generation in the USA. I can tell it has roots from the Fusion. That is also gone.

2023 Nissan Sentra review
Excellent gas milege...regularly exceed the EPA highway estimate for this car. Already have over 30000 miles on it. Regualar maintenace so far at the dealer. Now looking at a set of replacement tires as the OEM's do not last as long as expected. Other than the high wear on the tires, Android Auto connections used to be iffy at best until I figured out how the keep the connection.,

2024 Ford Edge review
7 Ford Edges and the 2024 is rock solid yet quiet and great performance. Everyone wants to use the Edge when we go anywhere. The controls are easy to use for non distracted driving. These guys are a family business and treat you like family. Here's my story: I live in the Roanoke, VA metro area and this past June went out west on what was supposed to be a long and enjoyable camping trip with my 14 year old son. Unfortunately, by the time we got to Mount Rushmore, I started to have problems with my transmission on my 2001 Honda Accord. And by the time we got to Jackson, Wyoming, the transmission started to fail in earnest. After checking it out, the local mechanic told me to get a new car. Because there wasn't much to choose from in Jackson hole, I decided to take a chance and headed down to the Salt Lake City metro area. I'm so glad my car made it down there. Since I've had it with transmission problems, I decided to get a stick shift for a change. While at a local library searching for cars on the internet, I saw that Peterson Auto had a manual transmission 2006 Subaru Outback in stock. As soon as I arrived, I was met by Mike Peterson who handed me the keys and told me, "we trust you" and encouraged me to take it for a spin by myself. I loved the car (been wanting an Outback for quite a while now), and was ready to buy it, but they had just gotten the car and I was told they needed to have their third party mechanic check it out. After an oil change and new bearings on one of the wheels, they where comfortable selling it and we closed the deal later that afternoon. Then to my surprise, before I could take off with it, they filled up the gas tank for me (which was almost empty). I was pleasantly surprised. Because of the free Carfax report they provided, I was able to figure out that all of the previous owners had "kicked the can down the road" and neglected to get the timing belt changed. It was overdue for a change by over 20,000 miles. So I made arrangements for their mechanic to change it and they gave me a free loaner car during the process. When I got the car back, Mike surprised me with a set of four brand new Sailun Atrezzo tires- for free. Now I ask you.... who does that? These guys really treat you like family. But after driving the car for a few hours, the radiator hose burst. I called Mike and he immediately arranged to have someone pick me up and the car towed. Again he gave me a free loaner car to drive until it was fixed the next morning. It turns out that while putting on the radiator hose after the timing belt change, the mechanic had over tightened it and cracked the radiator where the hose attaches. As Mike said, "it was a self-inflicted wound." But they took care of it and I wound up with a new radiator and hose for my troubles. No charge for any of that. I was just amazed... the car was sold as is, but they treated me like I was family. I'm back home now, but if I need a new car, I just might go on another camping trip and stop by Peterson Auto. I really like these guys. I've dealt with two different dealerships before, but these guys are the best. They made me a "happy camper!"

2023 Jaguar F-TYPE review

Ride is a bit more calm than I expected, which is nice since this is mostly a GT for me. But, even with that forgiveness, it is planted in corners. Great blend. I won't be doing track days, so the 450 is all I need. Value is debatable for a car/toy like this. But, I have no buyer remorse, so that says something!

I was wanting to go to a simple newer v6 Ram from a diesel Ram and they had this red one! Quick contract signing as promised. Easy sales that let the Ram sell itself WITHOUT PRESSURE to buy! Christina was great to work with! Same for Grace in the signing paperwork. Took me 6 1/2 hours with local dealer(auto row off Mill Plain) on prior purchase. Not here! Quick nice and efficient. 2025 Toyota Land Cruiser review
I purchased this car at the end of June 2025 and currently have only 5,000 miles on it. So far I love the Land Cruiser. The interior is very nice, but not especially plush. It is comfortable. The LC handles well, but I haven't taken it off-road, nor have I had to deal with difficult weather conditions. The drawbacks that I see are that it requires premium gas, does not get especially good gas mileage, and the gas tank is small for the size of the vehicle. I have no regrets in buying this vehicle.
