2020 Jaguar F-PACE review
The F-Pace is an excellent sporty SUV. 2.5L engine has been completely trouble free. The suspension on this generation is a bit firmer than the newer generation. The performance and fuel economy is great. The infotainment system allows for apple car play (corded). The F Pace is bigger than other compact SUVs in its class. I wish Jag wasn’t so committed to going all electric because they have taken the Land Rover Velar and made the F-Pace more sporty and luxurious.

2018 Jaguar E-PACE review
Pros: Best looking, best handling in class and fun to drive. Stunning looks & style for a SUV, well laid out & comfortable sporty cockpit (F Type copy), good driver visibility, brilliant performance technology, great features, smooth quick-shifting nine-speed transmission, quite nimble, precise steering, super stable braking, great cornering & windy conditions stability, excellent surround camera system, brilliant adaptive cruise control, unbelievable self parking, very good sound system, good interior fit and finish, and great storage capability considering vehicle size. Cons: Little expensive, feathery overly sensitive accelerator pedal (spurts), washed out touchscreen display, windshield blocks radio frequencies, and a few other minor issues listed under, ?Details of Issues?. Overall: A vehicle well suited to city driving and equally at home in the country; but not my first choice for long distance trips (full-size SUV time). The vehicle is best suited to a family of four or less (children and smaller bodies in the rear). The 21 inch wheels provide a great ride in ?Comfort? & ?Dynamic? modes, better than the smaller offerings. Brakes are excellent and feel stable under hard braking. Has ?ECO? mode to improve fuel consumption. 6 -different models and a plethora of options to suit most needs. Has all the latest safety features and collision avoidance. Top model could do with a more powerful motor. It is miles better than the competition. 5 out of 5 if it wasn?t for the touchscreen display washout and the feathery throttle pedal. Bottom Line: If you want the best looking, best handling compact SUV in the world, your search stops here. Details of Issues (nothing major) Expensive Has better performance technology than the competition which costs a little more; but even so, still seems a bit pricey. Windshield Blocks Radio Frequencies The windshield is metalized resulting in the blocking of radio frequencies. There is a small clear patch to place your Toll Tag. So the range of wireless devices will be reduced (up to 95%), including; door and gate openers, phones, RFID, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and medical alert. Feather Light and Overly Sensitive Throttle Pedal Almost no foot feel and too sensitive. A bumpy road, a sharp corner or just acceleration forces can cause unwanted acceleration spurts (jerking). Also, you have to hold your foot up all the time when just cruising. It feels unnatural and a little uncomfortable. Thank goodness for the excellent adaptive cruise control. Touchscreen Washout The touchscreen difficult to see in bright daylight and is barely visible in bright sunny conditions. The problem is that the display sits angled almost flat well ahead of the roofline and there is no sunshade, so the sun shines right on it. Accentuated by no high contrast color scheme option, just ?Light? (light pastel) or ?Dark?. It?s fine at night or on dreary days. Windshield Reduces Night Vision The windshield is metalized to block UV rays which it does well. It also cuts down visible light reducing normal vision just like sunglasses or regular window tint does. The problem is that it also reduces vision at night too when you need maximum clarity. Road Noise Road (tire) noise is noticeable and could benefit from improved floor and wheel arch insulation. Automatic Relocking & Arming Only the dealership can turn it on or off. I can see the reason for automatic locking and arming in high crime areas. In the country, the automatic system is annoying and inconvenient. There should be an easy way to turn the feature on and off. Door Locked Condition Indicator No visible external indicator that the doors are locked (except the folding door mirrors). In a noisy bright light situation, it?s difficult to see (light flash) or hear the doors lock. Automatic Power Fold Door Mirrors Useful option, but it can only be turned on and off by the dealership? Keyless Door Locking Keyless locking is overly complicated and imprecise (Unlocking is great). The manual goes into detail not to grab the door handle while touching the lock sensor. In reality, it is only necessary to be lightly touching the handle for the sensor not to work; or if your finger touches a little outside of the sensor area. One could turn on the auto locking full time, but that causes other irritating convenience issues. Restricted Driver?s Foot Well No good place to put your left foot if you have long legs. Wheel well intrudes into this space. I guess people with long legs shouldn?t drive compact SUVs on long trips. Reflections from Bright Shiny Bezels Reflection in driver?s side mirror from bright shiny driver?s side air vent bezel. Can be a distraction. Reflections from bright shiny bezels (air vents and display) on front windshield. Driver?s Maximum Seat Height The front dash and side windows sills are quite high. I found that with the seat all the way up, I still felt like I was sitting a bit too low (1 inch).

2018 Jaguar F-PACE review
I bought (used) the R-Sport diesel in British Racing Green with roof racks. Super cute car, but not real roomy inside. I could complain about a lot of things like no compass and cramped back seat, but for me, the good points outweigh the bad. It has only been in the shop a few times (I'm the 2nd owner, so I figured things would be due to need replacing anyway); the gas mileage is phenomenal - on the highway I've gotten as much as 40mpg - and around town is an easy 30+. I like to stand out from the crowd, and this car certainly does it for me. Overall pretty happy with it!

2014 Jaguar XJ review
Most fun car I've had since my 85 Vette. Beautiful design that gets tons of attention. Elegant interior reeks of style and class. Unexpected performance from the 3.0 Supercharged engine that will leave others in your dust. I have put over 60,000 miles on the car and have not had any maintenance issues. Overall I could not rate this car any higher. Love it!

Bought used, great gas mileage on highway runs, avg 32mpg Not sure why adaptive cruise control wasn't incorporated, Jaguar got it backwards??, they have a setting you set at speed desired, and it won't allow you to exceed that set speed ??? Actually dangerous option !!! Interior is clean, luxurious, body style is smooth and aerodynamic looking . 4 cyd turbo 25t AWD R Sport version is quick off the line, a smooth, now and then you will hear the kitten purr, but this cat can growl too. 1969 Jaguar XKE review
If you are buying an XKE for comfort or speed look elsewhere. If you are looking for a beautiful car that will only go up in value the XKE is for you. Why would anyone spend the same amount on a new Corvette that will depreciate the second it leaves the showroom. Why spend that much on a car that is as common as a Toyota? I guess if you want to race people at the stop light then go for the Vette. If you are satisfied with only going 150n MPH in the most beautiful car ever made then the XKE is a better choice IMHO.

2016 Jaguar F-TYPE review
I purchased my 2016 F Type R AWD last December 2022. Since then I have driven about 2000 miles without issue. I test drove everything from 911 to AMG GTS before purchasing the F Type. Lots of AWD HP without fish tailing. Can drive for hours at a time with comfort. Lots of attention, it was a little weird at first. Modification not necessary. I highly recommend.

1988 Jaguar XJ6 review
I purchased our Big Kitty, Jaguar XJ40 Vanden Plas (XJ6) well over ten years ago...Some might say stole. Being a fairly capable shade tree mechanic, I have been able to fix all the issues the car had when I purchased her, inexpensively. Since she has been sorted the only issue has been a fuel pump needing replacement. Regular service. I have driven her roughly 15-20,000 miles in the last 10 years and she has always been powerful, smooth and a true pleasure to drive. We are part of a local Jaguar club and participate in many events throughout the year with our club.

1994 Jaguar XJS review
I've had my 1994 Xjs 4.0L for over 15 years. It came to me from the original owner in near perfect condition with only 70,000 miles and full service records from day 1. I now have 268,000 miles on the clock and with routine maintenance, this car hasn't skipped a beat. It still passes smog checks. I'm in the process of a full suspension R&R.

2014 Jaguar F-TYPE review
I just bought a lightly used F-Type S convertible last year fully loaded after driving a friend's car. One of my best used car purchases ever. Insist on maintenance records or you can maybe trust the CarFax. Awesome vehicles with an insane amount of smiles for the miles. An absolutely beautiful car inside and out.

2012 Jaguar XJ review
If you want a car that has aged well to be over 10 years old since the restyling and still features all the options of a modern day car for substantially less money but substantially more in style and quality details, then this car is for you! The portfolio long wheelbase model has been a superb pick having all of the options like air cooled, heated and massaging seats, Touchscreen and voice activated navigation, smart phone integration, lane change management, and everything you’d expect on a modern day luxury vehicle but more than you’d ever imagine on a car over 12 years old with the price to own being everything for practically nothing to look like something that is driven by someone with style frim the upper class. It is like owning a vintage wine to be even more fine as time passes and it becomes the epidemy of a classic by sheer design with loads of burl (burr) wood, Connelly leather, aviation aluminum, chrome and put together with tail lights that look like the Jaguars claws have scratched the rear as its stance is seen from the front and the top fades to black at the back to look like a lanyard on a yacht made for land in Coventry, England, for a truly discriminating owner who will have a long lasting beauty. That is as long as it is respected and maintained by someone who is diligent with their duty to keep it tuned, serviced and detailed to be something so rare out there. Not like the million Benz and Beamer badges aging as seen by the millions when the Jag was limited in it’s initial production to combine rare styling, beauty, sexy seduction in the thousands. It’s known to catch your eye as others sneak by because the kitty has the smart and witty look that won’t lag to keep it on top horsepower slotted as a true beast found under the beauty’s clothing made to fly as the claws grip still catching your eye to lead and never chase when the BenzBeamer labels are like drifting rafts lefts behind the in the horsepower motor blast that streams like a dream to be a that's that’s cast with the big dreamers of rare owners leaving their prey behind to find greater fun around the curves and corners zooming past that typical scene no Jag can be said to hang or lag or age like some old outdated hag. Found behind the steering wheel, you will often see the likes of true royalty wearing a real crown and those who like the way it’s presented as the XJ-L to be the sound of a roaring kitty heard to tell by the grrrrrowler’s roar like a throaty, fast and muscularly built agile leaper to keep its youthful appearance to be cast in the role of long lasting leader and predator to blast past all prey and be all the luxury those others envy in cars cast to feel like the cat’s meow that is the king of cars or queen with no scars in the auto-wars to be hard to beat as a true classic with this jungle cat purring like a kitty but controlling the road like a lion who is king of the jungle when roaring down the road in the most nimble and agile sporty symbol to recommend to those who appreciate the poetic way it flows as this review written to endorse the cat of course. 1996 Jaguar XJS review
Have had my 96 xhs celebration for 28 years. Intense red with beautiful contrast piping on the seats. Never had a mechanical issue. Bullet proof. Shifts flawlessly! Suspension is great and something no one talks about…… little to no road noise or annoying wind shuddering! Im getting buried in it!

2018 Jaguar F-TYPE review
I've owned 8 Corvettes, an M3, M4, a 528, Porsche 911 C4S, an Audi A4, Audi A5, Mercedes E550, Cadillac ATS4, a Volvo, three VWs, many pick up trucks and SUVs, so I have a lot of varied experience with different types of vehicles. Two weeks ago I bought my first Jaguar, an F Type R convertible. So far I love the car. It looks good, it's really fast, ride is comfortable for what it is and it sounds great. Let me address a couple of the complaints I've seen online. First, that the interior is cramped. Based on my experience it's no more cramped than other sports cars I've owned and driven. In fact it feels more spacious than the 2017 C7 Grand Sport I also own. The Vette has more/better tech. Technology is the one area I think the Jag is lacking. The trunk space is very limited but it's a sports car. I've seen online comments that if your bag is bigger than a loaf of bread it won't fit. Not true. You can fit a couple of overnight bags in the trunk of my convertible. A word about the exhaust sound. It seems everyone loves the extra loud exhaust. I do to...sometimes. The good news is that you can have it both ways. In "normal" mode it just has a nice growl and is actually rather quiet. But put it in dynamic mode and it has a completely different personality. I really like the fact you can have it both ways. Quiet or loud, beauty or beast, at least on the 2018. The only piece of the puzzle missing at this point is reliability. If it proves to be reliable I'll have no regrets. Time will tell.
