This was my first experience with Honda of Slidell, and it was a positive one. The general atmosphere of the dealership seemed very friendly. I worked with Joshua Vides through the main part of sales process, and I was happy that he did not subject me to a high-pressure type of sales style. He was very personable, patient, and easy to work with, so I would recommend those in the market for a vehicle to give him an opportunity to earn their business. While there, I also interacted with Daniel Mortenson and Arthur Warning, who were involved in the sales and finance processes, respectively. They rounded out my experience with the same friendliness and no-pressure approach as Joshua. I would recommend a visit to Honda of Slidell.

staff was very helpful, timely upon responding to email. made a good effort to accommodate my needs but the Toyota tundra I was looking at had a few to many miles for my taste.

The base 2.4L GDI engine has plenty of pep. The vehicle rides well fully loaded (no change in suspension, handling, acceleration, etc). I would recommend this vehicle to anybody looking for a compact SUV (who has no need for a third row of seating).
My only frustration has been the difficulty of adding fog lamps. There is no wiring harness provided from the factory. This makes it impossible to have a true factory installation integrated into the steering wheel controls. It also makes an aftermarket installation expensive, as well.
I couldn’t unlock my doors, called and (I think her name was Kathy) said head right over! She took great care of all! Fixed everything and as I needed oil change etc, got it all done right away.

In general the car isn't too bad. I bought CPO and thought that meant something like it used to. It proved me wrong a few times over. Purchased a bit over a year ago, the first week, taken back for AC repair and power seat. Recently for belt tensioner that made a ton of noise.
Needs tires already as the new ones that were put on before purchase started to warp and cup about a month into the car.
I bring my Chevy Malibu here for service regularly and to date have never had a problem. My experience is that they do what they say they'll do, every time. If they diagnose issues with my car other than why I brought it in, they'll inform me, but no pressure to perform any repairs other than what I want done then. And they always have the work completed on time.

This car is filled with all kinds of features. Love heated and cooled seats along with heated steering wheel. Most people say they do not need heated steering wheel, but once you experience it, you realize how great it is and can cut down on heat needed in the car with heated wheel and seats.
They have a lot of inventory, but the automobile that I went to look at had a little more damage than I assumed it had, and the interior had a strong smoke smell. I wish I had known prior to coming to the lot. It was also a bit difficult to figure out where to park in the parking lot, and I could not figure out where the front desk was once I was inside. However, the price of the automobiles was extremely low for the mileage so I guess that is a good check and balance for the entire atmosphere.

Always looks new...has lots of room..easy to transport things. The hatchback is a wonderful car. The car feels like a mini Sports car, it definitely has a kick to it.

I like the powerful engine and plush interior. The handling is not bad. Engine is quiet. Very little noise. Overall a very good buying. Will buy a newer model in a couple of years.
Bought it from WPB Schumacher. Bad customer svce. Alignment issues til now, 6 mos later. Problem in steering column which is repairable for like $260, but Delray Kia refuses to fix!! Excuse is that warranty ran out!!!! Shows you how much Kia stands behind their products. The problem is a back and forth clicking in the steering and apparently common, but Kia could not care less!!!!! They even, at first had the gaul to try to charge me a $65 diagnostic fee. Will never buy ANY Kia again. Problem is that now I am stuck with pymts for the next 5 yrs....
I was involved with another dealership in a process of trading-in two vehicles for one. I was frustrated there but fortunately ended up working with the expert team at Gulf Auto Direct.
