Used Land Rover Discovery for sale near Mesquite, TX

Long time (Decades) Land Rover owner, driver, enthusiast, glutton for punishment... We have 3 other LR's in the family fleet as well as Toyotas and Subarus. I purchased this one CPO 2 years ago and took it on a major family road trip, spanning over 4 months and 11 states. We drove the vehicle more than 300 miles off-road, over desert sand, small rocks, big rocks, Jeep Roads, and 3 remote mountain passes over 12,000 feet. On road we drove it very high speed on lonely freeways in western states. Our LR Discovery HSE delivered flawlessly. The Windsor Leather interior is very stylish, functional and comfortable. The Disco handles like a sports car and has a very tight turning radius (can make an easy u-turn on most streets). Now it's mostly used day to day in town, hauling kids to and from school and sports and driving to work. We've taught 2 kids to drive in this car. It still looks and smells new. Everything works well and after putting many miles on the odometer it's begging for more. Regular oil changes and routine maintenance, that's it. Now we're well aware of issues with LR's and most every expensive vehicle...it seems to run with the territory. On this car my hat's off to Land Rover! This Discovery is a fantastic vehicle!! Love it so much, I decided to get a brand new Defender. After a few months the jury's still out on which is the better vehicle... I can assure you, we'll have a good time reaching that conclusion and we'll let you know when we figure it out!

With comfortable seating for seven, this car is exactly what we were looking for. We haven’t had it long but we are looking forward to years of driving.

This car so far meets all of our needs. Plenary of room for the whole family to travel where needed. So many bells and whistles that we still need to figure out but, an amazing car.

Very nice, rides well. Lots of features to learn. Great power for passing in the supercharged 6. Seating is very comfortable on long trips. Very quiet interior. Bluetooth phone hookup was very easy.

The ride, capabilities, comfort and features simply dont exist on any other suv for the money. Ride quality is luscious...yay air suspension. Power is plenty. Quiet as a library with every safety feature..And gas mileage is not bad. Blows away the german or Asian versions at this price.

My salesman Mike Duke was awesome. He listened to what I wanted and delivered excellent service. I am also happy with the financing department. They were able to get an interest rate that was 5% less than my pre approval. I will recommend this dealership to all of my friends and family.

I owned a 03 disco, that had close to 200k before an accident totaled her, it still looked great inside and , everything besides seat heater still worked, I towed my 22 ft speedboat about 15 to 20 times a summer up to 500 miles a trip, 4 wheeled alot, not just easy dirt road driving either, took it snowboarding all over WV,PA,VT, once through a blizzard, Snowshoe got 26 in that night, went on like it was a dry summer night, I recently bought a mint one owner 75k original mileage, 04 disco, dealer maintained, pretty much all original besides head gasket job at 70 k, that was also the only major repair on my 03, best purpose built suv ever, the LR3 and 4s are nice but beat a disco II

Initially I bought a car that had a cracked head gasket. I realized it within days of buying it. Once I brought to their attention They went above and beyond to make sure that i was taken care of got me into another vehicle with minimal inconvenience. They gave me a rental car for a couple days while i waited for another vehicular to switch into. Ultimately i got a vehicle that was a better fit for my family. Samuel was courteous and professional through the whole process, a pleasure to deal with. Kudos to Daniel the manager who chose to do the right thing and did not simply say sorry, you bought it as is. A refreshing experience to see a used car dealership that care more about the customer satisfaction than making a profit on a car. After spending many days at the dealership over the course of a week or so. I can confidently recommend this sales team. They proved that they have integrity and earned my business.

Under the radar vehicle. 355 HP So power is plenty strong. Feels solid and safe and a bargain compared to RR Sport. Not everyone wants a Defender with big tire on the rear. This Discovery is a great SUV with capabilities galore.
