i have test driven 5 2020 LRRR over the past year and i have owned 2 2011 LRRR so i made it my new year's pact to stick with one vehicle for the rest of my life and i have made the choice to go into 2021 with the 2021 LRRR i can honestly say not just from owning / test driving but seeing as i am 39% british i know LAND ROVER is one SUV that won't quit or ever let the owner down yes their are stylish and luxurious but they are top shelf quality and safety so if you want the best SUV on the planet GO FOR LAND ROVER and also if you don't mind the MSRP but trust me it is worth everything KUDOS TO MY FELLOW LAND ROVERIANS and GOOD LUCK to those who are in the market 12 / 30 / 2020 is when i found my forever ride

This is my second 2006 Range Rover Sport Supercharged. In 2006 I bought a new one. Sold it in 2015. Switched to pickups. Today I own a 2019 Benz C300 Sports Coupe, and a 2020 Range Rover HSE Long Wheel Base. In 2021 got my another 2006 RR Sport Supercharged with 101K miles for $8000. It had small issues but nothing too expensive once I changed a couple fuses and a new battery. I bought it from a wealthy businessman who babied the car. It was going to be my off road wk end fix the house work truck and for surf trips. We Drove up and down the coast of California, each drive about 2000miles non stop. Huntington Beach California to Vegas 1100miles many times too. Rain, snow, HEAT, Rivers, Off road Up and Down Hills. I do complete oil changes every 3000miles and fix small things when it happens, replaced spark plugs once since I've owned it and a 1 ignition coil, brake pads, new Michelin tires from Costco, air filters and soon new rotors. Check the fuses, replace a few parking sensors and unclog the a/c and sunroof drainage pipe. And re-attach backup light wires. And yet Even with my Mercedes C300 Sports Coupe that is more nimble and fuel efficient, I prefer my Range Rovers... It's the driving comfort and feeling the weight. I feel happy driving them hahahahah..... So if you want a 2006 RRS, expect to pay about $3000 upfront at an independent mechanic to fix things that weren't done by the previous owner. Watch a lot of DIY YouTube videos. change oil every 3000, rotate tires every 4000miles, pump tires every 4-5 days... Once all done, the car will last. Depending on my mood, I'll drive my 06 for wks because the supercharged feel is AWESOME....

I bought a 2020 RR Sport ATB from these guys... basically in between rides at Disney. I dealt with Kimberly Frickey, who was amazing. The whole deal was done via phone and text. She was so NOT sales-y, my wife and I kept waiting for her to transfer us to someone IN sales, haha. Turns out, it was her. But yeah. We agreed on a price. After Disney, we drove down and she had it detailed and ready to roll. No surprises. No up-charges. I signed a few papers (with Emily in finance - who was equally awesome). Hopped in and drove back to Arizona. By far the easiest car-buying experience I've ever hard. They even had my AZ plates overnighted to me so I didn't have to mess with the DMV... thank God. Oh, and I couldn't be happier with the car! Love it! Now if I could just end every family vacation with a new whip, I'd be set ;-)

Bought a 2022 rover sport hst worh 22 wheels and 825 watt meridian stereo. Best suv I’ve ever had! I’ve had a 2021 gle 350, 2017 levante and 2017 rx350 and love the rover sport above all of those . Hoping to get another one with the 1700 watt Meridian. The 825 watt meridian is the best stereo I’ve had in a car by far . Buy it ! You won’t be disappointed . Car has been super reliable thus far .

Overall it was a good experience. With what I wanted in options, they said here is what we have on the lot. If we were to bring in the car, it would cost money. Therefore, I researched other cars, other dealers, and was ready to work with someone other than San Diego Land Rover. The Range Rover Sport is truly one of a kind, it is a perfectly sized vehicle with great driving dynamics. Although the Sport is a great vehicle, I recommend the full sized Range Rover instead of the Sport, it is pricier, but it is worth every penny with its way more luxurious ride and features. I have test driven every Sport model aside from the diesels and hybrids and kept going back to test drive the 2021 HST V6, 2021 HSE Dynamic V8 and the Autobiography V8. These trims are the best driving trims out of all of the various trims with more than enough power. What I found odd was that if you wanted massaged seats, you would have to get an Autobiography, which starts $11,000 more than the HSE Dynamic for only massaged seats and different moving seats with the same engine.. Whereas Mercedes and BMW offer massaged seats in their base model GLE’s and X5’s.. Although these trims are great, they could have used some better integration when it comes to software and features. The 360 camera and even normal backup camera did not take up the full screen which is only 10 inches big. Ambient lighting is basically only in the footwell which looks a little aftermarket. The adaptive cruise control is subpar. Other brands have way better lane centering and will automatically switch lanes whereas Land Rover does not have that. I believe the new 2024 Sport will fix these issues, however it is yet to be released but the new 2023 full sized was released not too long ago and I will be purchasing it when it is in dealerships. I ended up ordering a 2021 Mercedes GLE AMG instead of the Sport, which I am very much happy with. Back in late 2015 I test drove the 2016 Supercharged and Autobiography trims of the Sport. I was not exactly too impressed with it and ended up getting a 2016 Mercedes GLE AMG Coupe which I am glad I got. However in 2017, I wanted another car but bigger for increased practicality and got a 2017 full sized Range Rover Supercharged. Way better than the Sport. The build quality is better, drives better and more features than the Sport. If reliability is a big factor for you, I would look at other brands like BMW’s inline 6 called the 40i, or Mercedes’ V6 called the 450’s. Both of those engines are very nice and have a good reputation of being reliable. Toyota even uses BMW’s inline 6 in their new Supra. Land Rover’s V6 HSE’s are the most reliable engines, the new Inline 6 that Jaguar Land Rover has in their P400’s have not shown any problems yet although it is fairly new . I had to have a new engine replacement at 20,000 miles in my Range Rover Supercharged but it is worth it. At the end of the day, if you can afford the maintenance, I highly recommend a Range Rover. If you're like me and put little mileage on your cars, you should definitely look at Jaguar Land Rover. But overall, if you use premium fuel and treat your cars well and have them maintained on time, then your JLR product should last and have little to no problems. Land Rover earned this reputation for being unreliable due to Ford owning them at one point and their engines wouldn’t last over 500 miles without something breaking. Ever since Land Rover’s new ownership, they have been improving! But at the end of the day I believe it is worth the trouble ever so often. Such a smooth and luxurious ride.

Perfect service, great cars, great events. James Cox is the best! Gary too. Cosmo and Elia as well. All staff including service sept are too notch. I have gone to few events recently and they were very enjoyable. Obviously you should get your Aston at Aston Martin San Diego! Any problem you encounter will be handled. I find it hard to believe that the dealership would NOT address a problem as mentioned in another review. And I can say that from experience because I have purchased three Aston's from Aston of SD and would never think of going anywhere else!
