2012 Lexus CT 200h review
Bought brand new in October, 2012 and have 110,500 miles on it. Other than tire rotations and oil and filter changes, practically a maintenance-free car. Only maintenance has been replacing the starter battery (less than $300) after nine years and I have replaced either the front or rear shocks, can’t remember which. Brakes have never been touched and are still 50% and 60% good. Yeah, I get the new car itch occasionally but I remind myself that I likely wouldn’t be as fortunate with the next vehicle. Since I purchased it, I have averaged 43.3 mpg. Phenomenal given that I live in Los Angeles. Since I retired five years ago, each July I drive from CA to MI, and have driven as many as 1,200 miles a day (17 1/2 hours in the road) and found the seats to be very comfortable.

My experience was great! I worked with Jose on the purchase of something I intend to keep in my care for the next 8 or 10 years. It wasn't a flawless car, it was 10 years old. It's got its services I'd like to complete before using it as my daily, but the dealership worked with me in a very friendly way, and was very considerate when I was discussing my service obligations with them. I made an informed purchase, received my goods in speedy time, and I cant wait to roll my new wheels around for a long time.
2012 Lexus CT 200h review
Bought a 2012 CT200h for my wife as a commuter ~8yrs ago and without a doubt this has been the best car purchase I've ever made. 40+MPG and practically zero maintenance costs aside from tires and oil changes and a 12v battery (at ~130k). In fact, I just replaced all fluids, breaks and spark plugs for the first time at ~100k miles. Brakes at ~100k?! Unreal. If you learn to use the regenerative braking it truly saves the pads/rotors. Love the looks of this little car too. As a commuter this is hands down one of the best out there. Lexus/Toyota's hybrid system knocked this one out of the part.
