I worked with Clay from Ford Square when I decided to buy a new Edge. His customer service was exceptional. They did not have the exact car I was looking for but within 48 hours he found the ideal car for me and I took delivery. He even picked the car that I was trading in up from where I work and took it to the dealership to get appraised so I did not have to disrupt my work day.

Very comfortable and roomy. Good looking vehicle that has been great since the day I bought it. Has great pick up and has not needed any repairs since I bought it.

Like a dream come true. Has e everything I was looking for in a luxury car and more. I had owned a Lincoln Town Car in the past and knew someday I would own another Lincoln. Have been buying nothing but Ford products for 30 years and see no reason to change.
Family members recommended I come here, I did and I was very satisfied. Thanks to my family whom bought v echicles from here to recommend them I know I will find something here just can't make up my mind.

This vehicle is a reliable as the day is long. The drivability is comparable to a BMW 3 series while keeping that lengendary Lincoln Ride. Plenty of leg room, plenty of luggage room & lovely amenities. As to mechanical reliability this is my most recommended vehicle.
Great Dealership. First class service department. My car broke down on Labor Day outside Mt Vernon on my way to South Carolina. The service department got me in at 7:00 next morning. New air conditioning compressor installed, back on road that morning. Very courteous staff. Great service.

I look at my Lincoln and smile, I get to drive it again, yeah!
I'm comfortable, feel pride in the vehicle, window view in the 2012 is very good. I feel very safe. Recently driving in a residential area a deer came out of nowhere and jumped in front of me, I was doing 30 mph, I hit the 2nd deer. I killed teenage Bambi, horrified yes. Cops were great asked me if I wanted Bambi, gave her to the homeless. My car goes in tomorrow to replace the front cowling and check for other damage. The car has been very drivable, just making sure. I love my Lincoln and
bells and whistles are many despite its age. I'm north right now and 20 degrees, I push the button for heated seats and back, and the best is the heated steering wheel, sometimes better than gloves.
Matt Reid treated us very well, had car waiting for us, gassed up, and ready to test drive. He was very personable and easy to work with. The used Focus we purchased had a burned out tail light above the rear window and it was fixed without question. Very pleased.

This was an awesome vehicle. Awesome price. Wicked incentives. Very roomy for a full size family in cabin and cargo space. Can for a huge amount of goods in the back.
Schmidt Ford had the truck I was looking for. Sales person was Matt Reid he had it ready for a test drive when I got to the dealership. When I purchased the truck Matt answered all questions that I had and explained everything about the truck. Working with Matt was a pleasure and a good experience. He is an asset to Schmidt Ford.

From the first email to the dealer to me signing papers my experience was excellent. I am from St.louis Missouri and I had never even heard of Salem Illinois so I was slightly hesitant to deal with someone out of town. However my mind was eased when I received an almost immediate response from Matt Reid of Schmidt Ford. He was very honest and forthright with details regarding the vehicle I was interested in. I couldn't afford to make more than one trip so all the details of the sale were has he out before I arrived which made it easy for to make the trip. When I got there the dealership was small but clean and professional. Matt Reid was waiting for me with the truck ready to test drive and a big smile. I was really nervous because I had only seen pictures and you never know what was hiding. As soon as I laid eyes on the truck I was overwhelmed with relief and excitement. I test drove it and it ran great! I went to sign papers and j was relieved at how quick and simple schmidt ford was set up to operate. Having my sales person also be the finance person was awesome it saved the extra time and wait and I was already comfortable with Matt and trusted him. Everything with deal was perfect and I will look there first for future purchases! To top it all off Matt called me on Monday after the purx base to make sure I was enjoying the truck and that I was still happy with it. That's pretty cool considering I didn't drop a ton of money there. Even the small people are a big deal at schmidt ford Salem!

Love my MKX’s! This is my 4th one! Luxurious style & comfort with all the most desirable features. They’ve always been very dependable & I love the all wheel drive.
I had always been a Chrysler person but after dealing with Matt Reid I am now a Ford person. He helped answer all my questions in a very friendly and professional manner. He did so well that not only did we buy a new Ford Fiesta for our business but I got my wife a new Ford Fusion. Great job Matt, keep up the good work.

I love trading a car in after two or three years and the little things that they’ve added . My first car was a 1970 Cuda. It’s amazing how technology brings us to the 2018 MKX.
We went to Schmidt Ford because our friend Jimmy Halfacre works there. Our sales person was Matt Reid. He was very friendly and easy to work with. Was having trouble deciding which vehicle I wanted, but Matt answered every question I had for him and once I decided which one I wanted, he made it easy for us. Wonderful experience.... Love the car!!!
They took away extras that my Lincoln MKS had.

It's not what I expected. The extras are a lot less. No heated steering wheel, no massage seats but I ended up paying more for less.
Rich feel. Interior color and style was stunning. It was a dream to drive and a supercharge just to sit in. Handled and responded effortlessly. I would love to own this vehicle but was discouraged with the pricing. Out of my reach economically.
