I purchased a new Mazda CX-50 over Easter weekend and working with Will Platts was a great experience from start to finish! He had both vehicles I was interested in ready to go when I arrived and gave me the space to look through them without any pressure. During the test drive, he was informative and super patient with my two children backseat driving. Throughout the entire process, he stayed low-pressure, listened to what I was looking for, and made everything feel easy. He set clear expectations when we asked about the financing process, which ended up being smooth and straightforward. Before I left, he took the time to go over all the features and settings with me, which I really appreciated coming from a 2013 Mazda. He even followed up a week later to check in and see if I had any questions. What criteria do you have in shopping your next used vehicle? 1. You want to buy a used car that is believed to be absolutely trouble free (Equivalent to a certified grade). 2. You are ok to buy a car at a fair market price (You are not trying to find a steal deal or to negotiate a price). 3. You hate sales pitch. Then go to Carmax. This is my best advice based on my past car buying experiences with all sorts of car dealers. You can't go wrong with Carmax if the above three are your criteria. Carmax set an extremely high standard in their car reconditioning protocols. Carmax certification is as good as manufacturer's certifications. Meanwhile, you will be discouraged if you come to Carmax in hope to find a steal deal, because all of their cars are priced RIGHT, and they never give you a room to negotiate over the price. This means that they don't play games, and they don't let you play games, either. They are fair. You have to be fair, too. A good news is, they don't try to steal your money. So don't try to steal theirs. However, I have one serious advice: Get pre-approved by a local credit union before coming to Carmax. While Carmax too does offer financing, their repayment rule has a catch. Say your monthly payment was set to $100. If you put $500 at once, you expect that the extra $400 would automatically go to principal payment, right? Not with Carmax financing. Instead, the first $300 goes to the three upcoming monthly payments, and only the remaining $200 will go to principal payment. If you intend to pay off your auto loan quick, this repayment rule that they set up is a deal breaker. A good thing is, they will gladly let you use your credit union financing; they won't pressure you into choosing their financing service. Good luck, and never go back to liars that live in the rest of the world.
2026 Mazda CX-30 review
So far the car is great. I do like the design of the CX30 more than the CX5, however, I love the full sunroof on the new CX5. I didn't think I would be able to get that in the CX30 but come to find out I could but I would miss out on the Bose speakers. I went for it and the standard speakers are good enough. They lack base is about it. As far as the shopping experience goes it was the best I ever experienced. I purchased the car from Hamilton Mazda in Hamilton NJ and the salesman was on point. Easy peezy. Mike Rees is the best salesman to date. I wasn't there all day, and he really worked with me. My credit isn't the best and the finance office did what they could to make it happen. Thank you for your professional services Mr. Rees and the Hamilton Mazda crew.

2026 Mazda CX-30 review
The 2026 Mazda CX-30 is the intersection of driving comfort, performance, and style. But the best part? Value. Mazda continues to push the boundary of delivering an exceptional vehicle for the price. From the interior to the exterior, this vehicle drives circles around the competition. The premium Bose sound system, AWD, Skyactive Engine, 360 degree camera, rear folding seats, and power lift gate only scratch the surface of what the CX-30 has to offer. Additional features such as heated seats, heated steering wheel, turbo, and premium interior materials, this vehicle can suit any style. Built to deliver an engaging driving experience, the CX-30 is a blast to drive. The CX-30 is more akin to a sporty hatchback than an SUV, so if ample room for rear row passengers is what you're looking for, the CX-30 isn't going to fit the bill. However, if rear seating room doesn't concern you, this car should be #1 on your list, as it doesn't get much better.
