AMAZING SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!! I start off with those three words so even if you don't read this whole review you get the point. We were traveling through Augusta GA after evacuating from hurricane Ida that had just devastated the New Orleans area. All warning lights popped up on the dash of my 2016 VW Jetta SEL and the vehicle went in to limp mode. Zero power over 35mph. On top of the destruction of hurricane Ida back home in New Orleans now I have a car that just basically gave up on me. The already pit in my stomach became even larger and only the worst case scenarios were going through my head now. A Google search leads me to the amazing team at Gerald Jones Volkswagen and the magic begins. Expecting at least a two or three day hotel stay in Augusta my service advisor Charles Davis takes me in to his service drive and assures me that everything will be alright and immediately puts one of his top techs named Mr. Chris on the case. Turns out it was as simple as a wheel speed sensor that the parts specialist Candace Betsch had sitting on the shelf in the parts department. While waiting on my vehicle to be repaired and strolling through the new car showroom I was greeted by the nicest young lady by the name of Vickie McPhee who introduced herself as the General Manager and was just as sweet as could be making sure that I was doing okay with a true concern about our safety during this hurricane evacuation. She even went as far as to introduce me to one of the owners Mr. David Jones and we had a great conversation as well. Next thing I know my service advisor Charles was standing next to me telling me that the speed sensor had already been replaced and my vehicle after being washed and run through quality control was ready to go. This my friends is one heck of a car dealership that has employed a team of people that truly care about their customers no matter where they are from or what dealership the vehicle was purchased. 2026 Mazda CX-50 review
The CX-50 is a great car. The exterior and interior are sleek and luxurious, and it drives great. The combo leather/canvas seats are awesome, because you still get the look of leather without the sticky/sweaty feel. Responsive infotainment system and variety of control options (joystick, touch screen, steering wheel buttons) is nice. AWD works great for me in the mountains.

Shopping for new car. Had one shipped from another carmax. Took car for 24hr test drive. Took to Firestone; was showed a badly rusted undercarriage. Returned outback to carmax Dothan. They said they'd have a look at it, that it might be within their specs but not ours. Manager offered to reimburse us the inspection and shipping fee. Can't argue with that. Great customer service.

I got this card 2023 in March we are now in July 28, 2023 I'm so satisfied with it I have no complaints drive smooth fits 5 love going on long trips.

2023 Mazda CX-50 review
Overall, enjoy my Mazda CX Premium. Pros: Great Handling and solid stance, prefer the lower to the ground/wagon feel, priority on driving vs tech. Google maps and streaming and I am happy Cons: Short driver seat lacks support. Fabric seats in premium have developed a few snags, Infotainment bugs (I like the knob): can add same station to favorites multiple times, statelite always starts at beginning versus current station, and screen dimming auto dim required reading online forums to see the dashboard buttons override the infotainment vehicle setting. Lastly the IP plastic/crystal had to have replaced due to scratch and replaced one still seems low quality. 24 MY upgraded the suspension to make softer and the steering is not as heavy.

2025 Mazda CX-50 review
as most midsize SUV's it is not comfortable for long trips. it is somewhat tight inside. Good gas milage. There are tons of electronics. we are older, not real tech savy. we had to go back for a second training session, since the first person did not do a very good job.

2024 Mazda CX-50 review
Keeping it short and to the point… Negatives: Front wiper leaves large area on passenger side untouched. Panoramic moon roof only opens to halfway on the front section of roof. No audible alert for rear camera No remote start option on key fob - only on Mazda app. Engine heat is felt down between steering column and peddles - will check with dealership during first service as this seems more than expected. Apart from what is mentioned above, this car is great to drive and I’m happy with everything else so far at 1600 miles

2025 Mazda CX-50 review
My tenth Mazda since 2010. Good looking vehicle, interior is well done. My only issue is road noise from the tires. It is a Turbo Premium Plus but louder than my 2019 CX9 GT. Not much wind noise or any other noise but just the tires.

2025 Mazda CX-50 review
I am very happy with my purchase. I already owned a 2018 CX-5 and it never gave me any problems so I had no qualms about purchasing another Mazda. I went with the CX-50 Turbo Premium Plus for the horsepower and the extra perks (i.e. automatic folding mirrors, and I like that the side mirrors also turn down to see the curb when parking, front AND rear cameras, panoramic sun/moonroof, speed display in windshield, heated and ventilated cooling seats, and a 12-speaker Bose Stereo system). I love the extra power of the Turbocharged engine that my CX-5 doesn't have. The things I don't care for: 1) the retractable cargo cover (a $250 addl charge) doesn't attack to the lift (like my CX-5 does. It's much more convenient if it's attached so there's no pulling it out each time you need to put something in the trunk; 2) I don't like that I have to turn off the automatic shut off of the engine at stops and that I have to turn it off every time I get in the car. I'd like there to be an option to turn it off indefinitely unless and until I want to turn it on; 3) I would also love it if the driver and front passenger seats raised a bit higher. I'm not short but I would feel more comfortable if the seat height lifted another couple of inches. Overall, I really love my car. The steering is tight and the ride is more comfortable than I expected, and the inside of the cab is quiet and the stereo is premium. The seats are attractive with the light colored stitching to accent the seats. Because of all the features in my model, I got a lot of bang for my buck as opposed to a more expensive car costing $20K more for all the same features with Mazda reliability as well as more reasonable/affordable maintenance costs. I had a BMW several years ago and, once out of warranty, the maintenance is ridiculously costly. Additionally, the service department at the dealership where I purchased my car is top notch and the transparency for maintenance is appreciated! In the last 7 years of owning a Mazda, I have never had a bad experience.

2025 Mazda CX-50 review
I had 2018 cx-5 for 6 years and traded for 2025 cx-50 last October it has 6800 miles on it now here’s my opinion on both vehicles CX-5 has more mature feeling when you drive it Feels heavier and quieter and eat more gas also little bit of old technology than cx-50 CX-50 has good gas mileage, little more power, lighter feel than cx-5,newer technology and better seats than cx-5 Also when you drive on highway it’s more comfortable for steer feeling than cx-5 So it’s your preference of what kind of drive feels do you like Both vehicles have a good reliability
