2018 MINI Clubman review
This is my second Mini and I didn't know if I would love the Clubman S more than my old Countryman, but I absolutely made the right call getting the Clubman. It handles so well, is so peppy, and comfortable. I don't know if I can ever drive another car other than a Clubman! I honestly have nothing negative to say and I have been driving this car for just over 1 year.

2010 MINI Cooper review
I’ve owned my 2010 mini cooper base for 5 years now and let me tell you i am OBSESSED with it. bought the car with a small coolant leak, and fixing that was a little pricey, but other than that i’ve had zero issues with it. super comfortable, no cosmetic issues inside or out, and drives me around! I live in an incredibly small town, so i can go 3 months on one tank of gas.

2015 MINI Roadster review
I have owned my 2915 John Cooper Works roadster for 5 years now. I LOVE LOVE LOVE my little car. I had a Charger RT and wanted something small. I didn't want to give up on power tho. I was very pleased with my experience. I started at CarMax to "try on" several cars from several manufacturers. The salesman (Jack) was happy to oblige, despite it being cold and rainy. We walked the lot and I sat in ~20 cars. I went home and researched them some more, scheduled a few to test drive and came back on Jack's day off. This time, I worked with Brandon for a few test drives and discussed other vehicles at nearby CarMax locations. They found a vehicle that fit my requirements and transported it in for me to test drive. A few days later, I was back for the final test drive, loved the car and purchased it. Jack and Brandon kept good communication, weren't pushy and were a pleasure to work with. The business office was quick and explained the paperwork and processes effectively. Now, two weeks on, I'm very pleased with my car and experience. Thanks!
2020 MINI Convertible review
We bought a used 2020 Cooper S convertible in December 2022 with only 6,000 mile on the odometer. It is a blast to drive! Don't plan on taking passengers unless they are very small children or pets. Looking forward to warmer weather and many cruises although we did put the top down and took a spin in it on Christmas day.

2013 MINI Roadster review
My 2013 MINI Cooper John Cooper Works Roadster is absolutely a blast. The JCW package includes more power and better brakes and suspension for fun back roads blasting and autocross use. It's a little harsh for daily driving, however, as the JCW suspension is a little lower and stiffer. I also have ultra high performance run flats on it, as there's no room for a spare, and I don't want to wait around for a tow if I get a nail or something in a tire. When new, this was a $45k car, and a bit expensive for a MINI. But on the used market, they are a real performance and economy value. They do have a reputation for worse reliability than normal cars, but if you find a well taken care of example, the N18 powered JCW and S roadsters are actually quite robust. I hope to have this car for many fun filled years to come, and would recommend people looking at sports cars give them a chance.

I bought two new Hyundai vehicles over the winter from Pam with far better trade values and discounts each time versus the 3 north GA Hyundai dealers near my Cumming GA home. The second trade was done completely remote, with a driver bringing the new Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid to the house along with the paperwork to sign. The driver drove off in my wife's CRV hybrid.

2025 MINI Countryman review
I have had my Countryman S for about 7 months and 2000 miles (I have two other cars). It’s Chili Red with Petrol Blue interior. My favorite points are 1. The interior. If you love interesting fun interiors as I do then you will love it. If you try to avoid black interiors and exteriors you eliminate 90% of the cars other make. With Mini, you can get perhaps the most fun interiors anywhere and the Vescin seems comfortable enough. Just with they had ventilated seats. 2. Power, FINALLY Mini got a full BMW tune given you pay about the same price. It is plenty quick and I get 33-36mpg on the highway all the time. Drops much lower zooming around town. 3. Appearance and layout. I like the unique appearance, low roof line for kayaks and plenty of room for the kind of car it is. Negatives: 1. Electronics. Had several updates since I bought it and it has improved a lot but will take some getting used to. Use the favorites menu. Everything is pretty much forced onto the center screen. Sometimes Mini does things to be cute rather than practical. Rather than a start button it uses a flag toggle key you turn off and on like an old fashioned key. If you have to change cars like I do it’s confusing. 2. Center console. Basically, there is not one. There’s a little clam shaped compartment the size of a clutch purse. The armrest doesn’t open. Wasted potential. You will hate this if you are used to piling layers of stuff in a huge center console. Glove box is minimal, too. Neutral. 1. There’s no screen behind the wheel but there is a heads up display. Frankly, after awhile I don’t miss it at all. The heads up is excellent but it takes a little getting used to. 2. Suspension is a bit stiff like all Mini’s. Makes it sporty but trade off is feeling most road imperfections. It does take the top off bumps well but it’s a trade off. In summary, the reliability has been good AFTER the electronics updates and most things work well. It is just so fun to drive and look at inside and out that really I am not sure what I’d rather drive. You might cross shop the BMW X1 and see which works better for you. You cannot beat Mini interiors though for just pure fun and the driving matches on what is a practical Mini for a family. Oh, I got it to tow a camper but I have yet to do that. That is a great new addition in my book. I will probably get a kayak trailer.
