After 3 months I decided my 26th Hyundai Tucson was not the right fit for me. I contacted my salesperson Sam Middlebrooks. We made an appointment that day for me to go in and test drive the Hyundai Kona. I absolutely love the vehicle. I had no plans of leaving with it that day but Sam Middlebrooks and the other team members were fast crunching numbers and giving me a wonderful payment plan. In about an hour and 15 minutes I had traded in the Tucson and left with my 2026 Kona. This is the fourth vehicle I have purchased from Hernstein's. In every department people are so friendly. 2026 Hyundai SANTA CRUZ review
Only have had it one month, just a couple negatives 1) Key fob very low quality, looks like a cheap plastic Easter egg. I have never had one this low quality. 2) The part that positions the seat belt buckle high or low is a “rubber band”, Never seen that. 3) The steering wheel should be a little wider on the top so you can view the screen/gages better. The ride is nice, Power is there when you want it.

2026 Toyota Tundra review
Two weeks ago I bought a 2026 tundra 1794. Came right off the showroom floor and took it home. I spent over 25 years in the retail car business… Most of the time as a general manager. Though I bought several new cars over the years for kids and Exes this is the first new vehicle I’ve ever owned myself. And I have owned a boatload of cars over the years, but never a new one. I Actually went out to buy a used tundra V8. I found more value in the new tundra. And after I spoke to the gentleman who traded in his 2020 Toyota tundra V8 for the new tundra, and an extended test drive, I too was sold. My wife loves the heated and massaging seats. Plus, there’s heated seats in the back. I don’t know if spending over $70,000 for an any new pick up truck is smart or a good value, but I do know I love it. It’s a beast on the road and fun to drive. We took my elderly aunt and uncle to lunch in the pick up… My uncle stated “ it’s like you’re riding in a Cadillac” I now find myself creating reasons to run to the store. I question my sanity because how many loads of bread do we really need in the freezer? Hope this helps. Go drive one for yourself.

2026 Toyota GR86 review
The GR86, like all cars, has its positive and negatives. Background: I bought a 2026 Premium GR86 auto (despite 75% of me favoring the manual). Out the door was a bit more than 40k. GR86s are rare. It’ll be tough to get a ‘deal’ due to how few they’ll be. Expect you may have to buy one that is still in transit to the dealership. Positives of the GR86: 1. IMO, from the outside, one of the best looking sports cars on the road. 2. Exclusivity, people ask what is my car. When I say GR86, common answer “huh, I’ve never heard of it”. You’ll see very few on the road. 3. Handles superbly. Hugs turns as well as any dealership sold car I’ve driven 4. For how small it is and lower the back seat, surprising truck space (for its size) 5. Inside feel to it is combo of modern day and the classic old roadster. 6, it’s not a real 4 seater but it qualifies as a 4 seater for insurance. 7. Pleasure to drive due to its light, nimble design. Seats are quite comfortable (they really keep you in place. 8. Free day at the track compliments of Toyota. Negatives of the GR86 1. It’s quicker than almost all cars on the road but it’s slower than it looks. Straight line speed is slow compared to virtually all other sports cars 2. Inside there’s some obvious corner cutting by Toyota/Sub to keep price <40k. No wireless CarPlay, dim non LED bulbs, plastic, non high resolution console display. My regret with this car is I should have been patient, waited some months, bought one with the performance package. Other than that, I love driving this car.

2026 Hyundai SANTA FE HEV review
Bought this new hybrid car a few weeks ago and going on first long distance drive, 2k miles, soon. So far we love this car. The looks and performance have been what we hoped for. Gas mileage is not max yet, but it is still breaking in. There are a lot of electronics to learn how to use and I read and watch YouTube for more info. 2026 Hyundai SANTA FE review
Fifth Hyundai vehicle. I have never had a bad experience with any of the cars., same for the dealers and service. The cars have always been reliable, loaded with great technology, and provided great comfort to drive. The 2026 Santa Fe clearly offers a lot of car for the price. It has also been a step up from previous models. Really enjoy the addition of the turbo engine. The only downside to all of this is Hyundai eliminated the included 36000 miles service the only disappointing part of a great driving experience,

2026 Toyota RAV4 Plug-In Hybrid review
I have had the car one month so far, RAV4 plug n see They say I can go 50 miles on electric charge, I am getting 55 to 58 depending on my driving style with running the a/c. So far I have not used a drop of gas. I am charging at night from 10pm to 7 am using 110 standard plug. The lowest I have taken battery down is 28%. Our local electric company has great rates from 12 to 6 am, I have figured my charging cost at about .64 cents per night for a full charge. The car is very quiet and smooth, with the horse power at 300 plus it is very quick. Looks great and runs like you want.

In one hour and 16 minutes from the time she said hello I was driving out in my new (to me) car. Quite frankly JENNY MARTIN went way above and beyond anything expected from anyone. She ran back and forth getting everything accomplished in a very fast but extremely careful and exact way. This was the fastest and smoothest transaction I have ever had. They gave us a pretty decent test drive. (up to Lithopolis and Coonpath intersection and back) The salesman was very, very low pressure and friendly. Broke the stereotype. They provided a lunch of pop from a touch screen soda machine, hot dogs, and cookies. We had issues overnight that were odd, but they were resolved, and the dealer agreed to check out the car the next day, and gave us a substantial courtesy charge of the vehicle. I will be reviewing the vehicle separately- a Kia EV6 Wind(basic trim) and will encourage the buyer to do so as well, but I have nothing but good things to say about it. If you go, ask for Nevada. They didn't try to up the price just because we didn't finance.

2026 Ford Maverick review
I purchased the Maverick Lariat Hybrid a little over a month ago. I have 1500 miles on it now. It has all the bells and whistles on it. I bought it not because of the price but because it was small and what I needed for my use and all the safety features included. I can pick up things for the house and yard and carry off the trash. It has sign recognition as well as speed adjustment. If I am going 55 and the speed goes down to 45 it will decrease my speed. It is a setting you can turn on or off. It also has true lane centering. Technically as long as you keep your hand on the steering wheel it is almost self driving. It is getting about 45 MPG now. I am told the longer you drive and get more miles the more the MPG will actually go up. I am really glad I purchased it. I have nothing but positive things to say about the truck. The dealer gave me the Ford support line on a couple of issues I had with the software and the support staff cleared up the issues. They stayed on the phone for over an hour correcting the software issue and the settings in the console. It has been a positive experience for me.
