2026 Hyundai SANTA CRUZ review
I purchased my 2026 Hyundai Santa Cruz SEL Activity with only 18 miles on the odometer and have driven it over 8,900 miles since May 9, 2026. After daily driving it in city conditions and taking it on longer highway trips, I can confidently say this vehicle delivers an excellent blend of SUV comfort and truck utility. The Santa Cruz was exactly what I was looking for. I needed something that offered more capability and cargo flexibility than my Tucson while still maintaining passenger comfort and everyday drivability. The SEL Activity trim comes with great features, including heated seats, lane assist, a sunroof, and comfortable second-row seating. The bed is spacious, and the factory Tonneau cover does an excellent job keeping anything I carry back there clean and dry. I also appreciated purchasing from a dealership that provided a dealer-backed warranty, giving me additional confidence in my ownership experience. The Santa Cruz provides a great balance of practicality, features, and peace of mind without needing to rely on a third-party warranty company. Driving performance has been excellent. The truck has plenty of power, and highway driving is where it really shines. It is extremely stable, comfortable, and quiet, with almost no noticeable cabin noise. Fuel economy has been impressive, averaging around 24–26 MPG during continuous daily city driving and reaching 36–38 MPG during longer highway trips. Handling is excellent, especially with the 18-inch tires, and the transmission provides plenty of torque for the terrain and conditions I regularly encounter. There have been a few minor issues. After an infotainment software update, the USB-C connection used for Android Auto/Apple CarPlay stopped working properly. Disconnecting the battery for about 10 minutes temporarily fixes the issue until the vehicle is turned off again. The driver assistance system also has some quirks. Even on well-marked roads, the lane assistance can sometimes behave unpredictably, and I have noticed it occasionally tries to move right instead of staying centered when going through intersections. The biggest annoyance has been a rattle from the passenger-side headliner that has been present since I purchased the vehicle. It is especially noticeable on rough roads. The climate control system works very well with dual front controls and rear airflow, although occasionally the fan will completely stop for a few seconds before restarting. Overall, the 2026 Hyundai Santa Cruz SEL Activity has been an excellent vehicle. If you are looking for a truck-style vehicle with good towing capability, passenger space, storage, fuel economy, and modern features, I would absolutely recommend the Santa Cruz. It is unfortunate that 2026 is expected to be the final model year for the Santa Cruz because it fills a unique space in the market.

2026 Jeep Cherokee review
So far, I really like this car. Only 2 things come to mind in the negative area. No heads-up display is offered and the warrantee could be longer. Other than that, it is a pleasure owning this car.

2026 Chevrolet Equinox review
The Equinox is a nice SUV, that can be fully loaded and still not break the bank. My Equinox has full power, A/C & heated seats, sunroof with a fully, customizable, large display panel. The rear seats are also heated and comfortable to ride in with plenty of room. The heated steering wheel wraps up the luxury. The engine is a little anemic with a 1.5l turbo and FWD with the CVT transmission. With one person, it is okay, but as you add people, the engine bogs down. However, the mpg whether loaded or not are fantastic with my average of 26mpg consistently. The ride is very comfortable and it competes with many luxury brands for comfort and ride. The design and sleek front end make it a very attractive drive. I would say that if you are looking for a fully appointed vehicle in the crossover size SUVs that won’t break the bank, check out the Equinox. Whether a daily driver, a small family or traveling, this platform provides high comfort and good quality that competes in this marketplace.

2026 Hyundai VENUE review
The Venue is a fantastic small car, perfect for driving around town. It's easy to park, maneuver, and drive. It has great visibility, without big blind spots. It's very comfortable and drives very, very well - far better than I expected for its price. My 6'2" husband fits in it easily, as driver or as passenger. It has quite decent power, and it accelerates faster than our old Honda Civic did. It has great storage capacity for its size, and I love the two-tone styling on the SEL model I bought. It's not a luxury car. It is small, the interior is basic, and there are certainly cars available with more horsepower. Nonetheless, it is an absolutely fabulous car for its size price - I truly don't understand why I don't see more of these on the road! I LOVE my new Hyundai Venue!

I am so THANKFUL for Carli here at JC Lewis service. In 2021, we bought a brand new CX5 and drove our way from IL to Savannah. There, I left the new car and my daughter. Being 700+ miles away, I get very anxious about her dealing with "dealerships" and possibly being taken advantage of. Recently the car just "stopped" and had an emergency brake issue. We had the car towed to JC Lewis where Carli and the service team went to work. I cannot tell you how WONDERFUL, PATIENT, UNDERSTANDING, INFORMATIVE, KIND, all the feel-good words that Carli was and made me feel SO MUCH BETTER about my daughter having to deal with this. They had the car for about 3 weeks, provided a courtesy car and made sure to go over everything, made the repairs and then some. There were other issues that arose while they had it and I anxiously waited for a bill that could be in the thousands, but Carli was diligent in making sure anything that was covered under warranty, was. I cannot tell you how much I APPRECIATE her and her constant communication over the past 3 weeks. She didn't have to go that extra mile to put me at ease, as my daughter IS 26 :) but she did, and I am SO relieved. Seeing as this is the only Mazda dealership near my daughter in Savannah, she'll continue to bring her car there for all services. I did a lot of "homework" before we bought our Mazda's and if you're on the fence, Mazda (CX5) is the way to go & JC Lewis Mazda is the place for all your service needs. Thanks again Carli! Our sales person, Malcolm was a great guy. Professional, brought us in, went through what we wanted. Got the vehicles. Test drove both. Make a decision, and in about three hours we were done. I positively HATE car shopping, and the hours upon endless hours of hiking through a field of paperwork 6 feet deep, only to be so exhausted even the drive home in the new vehicle can't register. Chatham Parkway Subaru was so different. We got the paperwork done, made the arrangements, and we were on the road, actually enjoying our new Ascent. What a gem of a vehicle it is. Reminds us a lot of our other previously most favorite vehicle that we both really thought great. We've owned a Subaru previously many years ago. Am glad I took the chance after a lot of nudging to go to another dealership. Chatham Parkway GETS IT....transactions should not suck the life blood out of you. We haven't used the service department yet, but I am very optimistic that experience will equal what we've had thus far. Thanks Malcolm and Mark, you made car buying a pleasant and mercifully short process.
2026 Subaru Forester review
This is my first Subaru. So far I love it. We will be taking it on a 300+ mile trip this weekend and it will be the real test!

Ram Longhorn Limited is loaded with accessories and options. The only model Ram that you can get with brown leather interior and I bought it for about 4K more than the Larmie would have cost me after adding the options I wanted on the Larmie.

2026 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 review
I had the truck for about 3weeks, so far every thing rocks good power for pulling my camper and comfortable. There a few quirks with the electronics but hopefully they will work themselves out. Would purchased again. Have not gone off road yet will update, when experience it.
