2026 Buick Envista review
I just bought a 2026 Envista Preferred on May 22, 2026 and it is the dream car that I always wanted. It's elegant, good on gas, nice and comfortable interiors and trunk and small enough to park. It feels like a strong car, just by opening the door. Really can't say anything negative about it. I think Buick out did themselves and the price was right!

2026 Honda Ridgeline review
Ridgeline Black Edition, the top-of-the-line model, is a great light utility vehicle that also makes a great daily driver. As comfortable to drive as a car. Gets good gas mileage for a truck and has many outstanding safety features, which is why I bought it again after owning two. Next year is going to be a major upgrade. The current model does not have all the features of the Honda Pilot, which has the same engine. Upgraded stereo, heated and cooled seats, and a place to charge your phone without connecting with a cable. Electronics are somewhat confusing because they are layered. Really good view out the front and side. Only black interior. Locked trunk in bed. AC outlet in bed. Quick in acceleration, 0-60 in about six seconds if needed. Steering is somewhat heavy and not exactly as precise as my last model. Overall, this is my third, and I keep coming back because it works for me. AWD can tow 5000 lbs. The black edition comes in three colors: Black, White, and Sonic Gray Pearl, which I bought, and many have commented on. Would I buy again or wait till next year when a hybrid comes out? I needed the safety features now, and the first year of a new edition generally is not that reliable.

2026 Ford Mustang review
I recently purchased a used 2026 Ford Mustang Dark Horse and Love it. The mustang has really improved over the years in style, comfort and performance! The Color is Blue Ember and is a really beautiful color. The flakes in the paint really stand out in the sun. The Coyote Engine gives superb performance and really sounds Great! I Highly recommend getting one especially if you are looking for Performance and Style if you can’t afford a Shelby or a Rouche .To me you can’t go wrong with this High Performance Dark Horse Mustang!

2026 Kia Sportage Plug-In Hybrid review
Nice car! Very comfortable ride. The pick up of the automatic cruise control is a little slow after the accelerator is released. Car slows down 3-5 miles mph waiting for cruise control to initiate. Fuel economy is great for around town at less than 34 miles. We are averaging 103 miles per gallon. But most of our driving is less than 34 miles. Charges in 1 to 2 hours with a 240v charger.

2026 Toyota Corolla review
So far so good. If had her a week. My only complaints and they're minor. One, there is only one cigarette outlet inside the center console so you have a wire going from the center console to your dash. The outlet should be somewhere on the dash. There is a usb outlet on the dash so you have to buy a new camera. Like I said minor. Two, no rear windshield wipers. The car is very quite so you don't have outside noise. Ride is very smooth. Seat is comfortable. The Ruby Pearl is stunning. For a 2026 I thought $24k was a fair price. I just filled up yesterday so jury is out on gas mileage.

2026 Honda Civic review
This is my third Civic and I believe it is the best one yet. The 2 Liter engine is smooth and powerful. The cabin noise is low and its handling very sporty. All the new safety features, like lane watch, blind spot warnings and rear back up camera really work well. The air conditioning is stronger too. A pleasure to drive. I recommend the hatch back.

2026 Buick Envista review
I just bought a 2026 Envista Preferred on May 22, 2026 and it is the dream car that I always wanted. It's elegant, good on gas, nice and comfortable interiors and trunk and small enough to park. I’ve purchased and leased quite a few vehicles over the years and have also helped friends and family shop at dealerships across the RTP area, so I have a pretty good idea of what a typical dealership experience looks like. Johnson Lexus of Durham was easily one of the best I’ve had. Will White was my salesperson, and he was outstanding from beginning to end. He never pressured me into making a decision or tried to upsell me. Instead, he took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, answered every question honestly, and made the whole process feel relaxed instead of stressful. One thing that really stood out was how well prepared everything was on delivery day. Will had already coordinated with the finance team, so all of my paperwork was ready when I arrived. I was in and out without sitting around waiting, which was a refreshing change compared to experiences I’ve had at other dealerships. Emily L in Finance was friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. She explained everything clearly, respected my time, and never made me feel pressured. I was also impressed by Lexus’ dedicated delivery process. Emily G, the Delivery Specialist, walked me through the vehicle, helped set up the Lexus app, connected my phone, and explained all of the major features before I left. It made driving home in a new vehicle much less overwhelming, especially with how much technology modern cars have. From sales to finance to delivery, everyone worked together seamlessly. The entire experience was organized, professional, and customer-focused. I left feeling like they genuinely cared about making sure I had a great experience, not just making a sale. I would absolutely recommend Johnson Lexus of Durham to anyone looking for a new Lexus.
2025 Lexus NX 350 review
I got the option to test drive a hybrid NX. And after driving it I can honestly say I'm much happier driving my NX350 gas version (I have a 2025 NX 350 Luxury). First I notice the hybrid felt under power, and then I realize that my gas version has a stronger engine with the turbo. Second the sound that the hybrid makes like a droning noise, did not like that. The driving experience on my gas feels great compare to the hybrid version. Now I did not do a road test with the plug in, but from everything I have heard that is the one to get. At this moment don't have a house, so gas is the best option for me. But after we buy our house then i feel like the plug in is the way to go, especially with the bigger horse power. And yes I understand the save in gas of a hybrid but I'm spending big money on NX and I want to enjoy the drive. If i want to save money then I will go for Toyota and save a lot more on gas. (the 350h is for people who want to save money on their gas bill and 200hp is enough as they want luxury from A to B and don't need it to be fun). So that for me is not a factor, for me is the drive and the comfortable of a luxury product. And yes I get it Lexus luxury ain't what it used to be many years ago, but in 2024 it's better then a Toyota luxury. Example RAV 4 limited vs NX luxury, I prefer to spend more money on the NX for the luxury level in todays market of 2024. So Luxury with a good driving experience are it for me...and of course the reliability of Toyota/Lexus makes it all the better then any other brand for me.

2026 Volkswagen Golf GTI review
The car is an absolute joy to drive. It handles amazingly. I wanted reliable, good fuel mileage, and sporty. The car checks all 3 boxes. I’ve put almost 1500 miles on the car in 15 days. It goes from miles per gallon to smiles per gallon with a simple press of the gas pedal. I did a lot of research on the car before the test drive and the purchase. The reviews could not have prepared me for the actual test drive and how well the car performs. The car will break the tires loose at 20 mph. I have zero negative things to say about the car. I can’t even attempt to say anything negative. I drive almost 80 miles per day for work. I look forward to the commute thanks to the car.
