2002 Pontiac Firebird review
2002 was the end of the line for performance cars at Pontiac. The Firebird and Trans Am were iconic muscle cars that helped define the genre. I was lucky in finding 1 of 2000 Collector Edition models with super low miles. The car runs strong, handles well, and still looks great 19 years later. The interior is dated but nobody buys a Trans Am for the interior. It is still fast and fun to drive. Getting a 4th generation Firebird is more economical then buying a project and restoring/modifying it to meet modern standards. This car is for serious drivers to are tired of the current run of the mill cookie-cutter tin can cars today, and it is half the price of current muscle car remnants, it can still keep up with most of them too!

What a pleasant surprise C & S Motorsports was. We drove to Omaha from Des Moines to look at an ‘08 Mazda Miata MX-5. Were we ever surprised to see such a beautiful, extremely low mileage ( 11,777 ) convertible. The car was simply stunning! We then met with the dealership owner, Rob. Love the Pontiac. Wish they would have never closed them down. Last of one of the American muscle cars. Would love for Gm to bring them back. They should have not let the government shut them down.

2002 Pontiac Firebird review
I am the 4th owner of a low mileage Collectors Edition Trans Am. As the end of the production line this car is as modern as the 4th Gen F bodies are and had the best handling and performance package this side of a Corvette. The best part of the car is the community and amount of upgrades you can get for it. The hardest part is deciding how far I want to tune and push the car or keep as original as possible for historical sake. It drives great and responds better then the current bland and cookie cutter coupes available today.
