2025 Mazda CX-5 review
I bought myself a Christmas gift, a new CX5 SignatureTurbo the day after Christmas and I absolutely love it! I don't' know why I didn't get one sooner. I have always been a Toyota, Lexus guy, but I must say this classy vehicle beats the others. Why, let's start with the interior. Mazda makes some of the most beautiful interiors! Exteriors too!! The fit and finish are superb! The CX 5 is extremely quiet and smooth riding, and I can honestly say it is quieter than any Lexus I have had in the past. There is also the fun factor! If you haven't tried a Mazda, you need to. They are a driver's car and fun to drive. The trim level I have has the Bose system and has a beautiful surround sound. Crank up the volume and it's awesome! The safety features are excellent, and everything is conveniently located. There is no need in paying for other Luxury cars when you can get a Mazda and save thousands, and they are the best keep secret out there. Luxury, fun, good looks for much less. I am definitely staying in the Mazda family.

2025 Mazda CX-5 review
I bought a new 2025 Mazda CX-5 Signature before they were gone and no longer available because I really like that this car though not perfect and to some people kind of dated in design and execution but to me is full of good elements that future cars including the 2026 CX-5 will lack. Exterior styling that does not get old quickly and still looks good without being too flashy. A great interior that looks and feels premium with quality soft touch materials throughout. An engine ( Turbo ) and transmission (Not a CVT!!!) combo that makes driving a pleasure. The way the suspension is setup is another thing about this car that makes me want to go for a ride any chance I get. The meaty steering feel , not over assisted and numb. This is a compact SUV that shouldn't feel this enjoyable to drive but it does. You sit a bit higher and taller in the saddle and have a good view ahead and around you with the nice large mirrors and 360 cameras . When my wife is riding next me enjoys the view. The wind shield is not too big and far away and steeply raked which is easier to clean inside and doesn't heat the interior up. The controls some might call old fashioned or retro but as far as I am concerned you just cannot improve on dedicated knobs and buttons for hvac and interor functions and the well placed controls on the steering wheel, drivers door and center consol ( The large control dial and volume knob are perfect!). And who doesn't love a good old shifter with a nice looking leatherette boot at the bottom of it retro but in a good way! Yes ok the the gauge cluster isn't over the top with flashy effects and the infotanment setup and screen size are dated but for me that's a good thing. I don't need too much tech or too much screen, this is more than enough for me, Call me an old fashioned nerd but I prefer books to screens anyday! The Bose stereo sounds good but isn't mind blowing just a good step up from the base unit. This feels like a very well sorted out and put together vehicle. You get in it and drive. No fiddling fumbling and adjusting this and that . You get in adjust your seat and mirrors and go. The pure enjoyment of just how well this car behaves in my hands makes me enjoy driving it. It feels tight and solid with a firm ride that tames rough roads well without being too floaty or harsh and punishing. I think it's a very good balance that rewards the drivers with good driving dynamics and fun. The brakes are solid, competant and feel right from the get go and take no getting used to. The turbo engine is really torquey and doesn't need to be over rev'd to get it to pull. It has a nice sound without sounding silly. Gas milage is not the best but I figured that to be and accept it. The tranny works well with engine. It is smooth and does what a good transmission should do almost invisably with no clunkiness or gear hunting. The CX-5 interior is nice comfortable ( and dare I say somewhat elegant and classy ) the dark Caturra brown nappa leather seats with contrasting stitching and perferations for heating front and back and cooling in the front look beautiful and myself and my passengers find very comfortable. The rest of the interior is mostly black with real wood trim ( Who does that anymore) The interior is quiet with no sqeeks rattles or road noise (so far)! Rear seat room is enough far the average sized person. And the trunk space considering the vehicle size is fine. All cars cost way too much now but what you get for the money I really think when compared to other compact SUV's is a good value and the quality fit and finish (Made in Japan!) doesn"t feel cheap. I only gave the reliability rating 3 stars because this would be better answered in say 5 years. I am a first time Mazda owner and having commited to older (proven) technology in a changing turbulant world ( ICE engine not Hybrid or EV) I can only hope that this purchase plays out well.........Fingers crossed and happy motoring Zoom Zoom!

2025 Honda CR-V review
The CRV is a luxury mid size hatchback. Smooth riding, handles well in Michigan’s winter weather 🤒. Good miles per gallon. I do drive in economy mode. I am still getting used to the size after driving a Honda Odessy. Good overall view. No obvious blind spots. I wish it had a manual garage opener feature on on the Ex.

2023 Hyundai IONIQ 5 review
The Ioniq 5 is the safest and most comfortable car I've ever driven. Now that I have a Tesla charging adapter, the charging infrastructure is less of a challenge and my range-seasonal variations from 190 to 290 miles-is sufficient. I have had an issue with the 12-volt battery unexpectedly failing but otherwise the car has been extraordinarily dependable.

This was my first time buying a car out of state and John Reyes made it as smooth as possible. He was always answering my (many) questions in a very timely manner and there were no hidden costs or fees. I had an issue with the shipping company, but that is a 3rd party which shipped my car from Texas to California so that is not his fault. He also said I would not need to go to the DMV, but that was not quite true (I had to go once for a VIN verification appointment). Assuming he did not know that, I would say this was an overall good buying experience, especially for my first out of state purchase. Overall would recommend (again, my experience was completely online (out of state), John seems like a very nice guy and will answer all of your questions and give you a no-BS out the door price. Thank you!

Garrett returned to his home state of Minnesota so, Joshua recommended and introduced me to David Garza, Jr. Not only was J.R. professional, knowledgeable, and friendly, but he also has an infectious energy, a genuine warmth that radiates and a commitment to the satisfaction of the customer this visible in each smile and gesture. I had my heart set on a particular color. Unfortunately, it was not on site. J.R. introduced me to the Floor Manager, Cory Boswell, who searched for the Rav 4 color and upgrades I was looking for until he found exactly what I wanted. Cory kept on checking in on me to ensure everything was perfect. My day ended with Rene Cantu in finance, who crunched the numbers, factoring in a trade-in value that was satisfactory and brought it all together within my budget. A few days later, J.R. called to let me know my Rav 4 XLE Premium was at the dealership. J.R. added that extra touch by placing a colorful bow on my dream car!!! We were treated with the utmost kindness, professionalism, and extended over extended courtesies were given to us at Superior Hyundai, off of Loop 410 and Callaghan and I cannot say enough truly, about Jonathan Priette, our Sales Agent, Mark Anthony, Mgr., and Oscar Fernando in Finance! There was never “rushing us into any deal”, but rather, my husband and I were treated with respect. We showed up late in the evening and they never seemed to be in a hurry. Not one bit. They made sure all our questions were answered in detail and on top of all that kindness and professionalism…..I drove out of their parking lot with the exact car I was looking for and with a great package deal. These three gentleman treated us the way everyone should be treated, with utmost respect! There’s not enough of that in this world nowadays. So, if you are looking for a great car with a great package deal, please do yourself a favor and go look for any of these three gentlemen. (I made sure to remember their names so I could tell family and friends.) You will definitely be surprised how they run things there at this dealership. #feelingblessed!
2023 Hyundai TUCSON review
The Hyundai Tucson Limited is far beyond other vehicles in the same class. This car has features of luxury cars in an affordable vehicle, and it looks sharp too. If it had a turbo charged engine it would e out of this world. As it is, the car does lack power, but unless you drive it like a sports car this isn’t a problem. Front heated and ventilated seats, Rear heated seats, park assist, blind spot cameras. If you need it this car has it.

2023 Toyota Highlander review
Have had our 2023 Highlander XLE AWD since April 2023. Live in Chicago area and have driven to Arizona and Maine. Zero problems with the car. We put a large Thule box on the roof, multiple mountain bikes on a bike carrier and a kayak. Lots of luggage, got 27 miles per gallon on both trips. Plenty of power in the Rocky Mountains. Would recommend the car to others. We have a great Toyota dealership but all we have needed is schedule maintenance.

2021 Toyota Tundra review
With 60k miles on my 2021 1794 edition I’ve had zero issues and has been perfect. I love the the old school soild build and less fancy electronics to screw up. Made to last and is in my opinion the last of the best full size trucks ever made.

2020 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 review
I have a 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500 and simply love my truck. It now has 110,000 miles and the only repairs I needed were a water pump under warranty at 99,000 miles and brake system that needed to be upgraded. It's comfortable and drives like a car. 2022 Toyota Camry review
Overall, I think the Camry Nightshade is a great car if you want something reliable, stylish and comfortable for daily driving. The blacked-out wheels and trim give the car a sleek and sporty look that makes it different from a regular Camry. The car rides smooth and comfortable and does very well on the highway. It's spacious and the seats are comfortable.

2024 Toyota Tundra review
Although I love this vehicle, I am a bit put out with Toyota in general, because of the lack of fobs, and I have been talking to everyone at the dealership and with Toyota corporate office, and there has been no answer as to why I cannot get the second fob which I am entitled to. I spent enough money on this vehicle so in theory, I should have everything in place including two fobs. Is anyone else in experiencing this issue? I am reading that the supply chain on this item has open back up, but when I go to the dealership and give them my Vin number, they don’t even have it on the recall, which is what you have to have. Apparently this week will be under to even anticipate receiving your Second fob. All I can say is, shame on you, Toyota!

I would never recommend anyone other than him for a car. He was kind and even called the next day to make sure I got everything setup and to see if I needed anything. I love the vehicle and the smoothness when i drive it. Alerts me of cars when backing and tells me if another vehicle is driving away if there is one in front. There is a lot of space and great for my 2 kids.

2022 Volkswagen Taos review
I bought the 22 model in Apr of 22 and had it about a year and the ac compressor went out. It took them a couple of months to get one and when they did they found that it had metal shavings all in the lines so they had to replace everything in the circuit. They gave us a loaner car for two weeks and so far it’s been working fine. Have had a couple of software updates so far but no other issues. Have just turned 10,000 miles. The transmission is jerky so I basically drive it around in sport mode to keep it from dropping into the highway gear. Overall we like it

2025 Honda CR-V Hybrid review
I’ve had many Subarus in the past, but wanted a hybrid vehicle. So glad I did with these gas prices! I’m getting 41mpg right now. My favorite things are the trunk kick open feature, my hands are always full. I love the heated steering wheel too. I have the flat matte gray color, I receive lots of compliments and color hides dirt well. Handles well on road, drives nicely. Only thing I would change is size of cup holders, they are small.

Purchased "preferred" version almost 4 months ago. Nearly 4,000 miles. It is primar=illy my run around vehicle. With the Toyota hybrid system I am averaging 44 MPG. Priced approximately $4,000 less than comparable Toyota RAV4. I am extremely satisfied with the vehicle. I find it comfortable, reliable, true to Mazda driving experience.

2023 Hyundai TUCSON review
I've had this vehicle limited fwd edition over a year now and it's still awesome as the first day I bought it. Smoother ride and quieter ride than the Honda CRV or the Toyota RAV4. I love that it has GDI and multiport injection which the competition does not. I also love that it has a regular transmission and not a CVT. This vehicle comes with all the luxuries my old Cadillacs had plus a lot more features. This car has plenty of pick up and go. You just have to learn to push down on the accelerator not punch it. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the small SUV class. Cause believe me I test drove them all, and this was by far the quietest smoothest ride and most comfortable car that I test drove.

My husband and I had a great experience purchasing our 2026 Tundra iForce Max TRD Pro from Cavender Toyota! We initially spoke with Rebekah Gonzales who kept us informed on the weekly pricing of the vehicle and answered all of the questions I had as I thought of them, because we couldn't look at the vehicle for almost a month after first speaking with Rebekah. Discussions with Rebekah and all of her help sent us to Cavender's where we worked with Aaron Obregon. Aaron went above and beyond to show us the vehicle we were interested in, take it for a test drive, assess our trade-in for a very reasonable trade-in value, speak clearly and to the point, ultimately selling us on the truck. We ran into a little issue that Aaron took the time to work through with us. Aaron even went to the service department to discuss the tonneau cover we wanted and determine pricing and install. 2023 Chevrolet Tahoe review
I have a 2023 Tahoe after driving a Mercedes ML350. Husband wanted something bigger. While I really like my Tahoe, I do have a few complaints. The side mirror moves to a weird position inside the case every time I start the car and the preset button does not move it back, I have to reset it manually. I have had this "fixed" once only for it to start doing it again. I hate the auto stop option and am trying to train myself to push the button to turn it off whenever I get in it. The breaks squeal when stopping, I absolutely hate it! Was told since break pads used to be asbestos so they do not use them anymore and now it is metal on metal and living in a humid area makes them rust and that's what make them squeal. Was told to hard stop every so often to knock of the rust. What??? And my biggest complaint, it will not read my text messages to me without and internet plan. Why will it connect to my phone for calls, maps and music but won't read messages?? One of the biggest causes of wrecks, people trying to text while driving. Just one more way to get more money from us as if we didn't pay a fortune for the vehicle itself.

2024 Toyota Tundra review
This is my fifth tundra and it is by far the most comfortable and best driving one yet! I love all the new safety features and small changes they’ve made like the easy to drop Tailgate. But by far the best part of this most recent buying experience was the dealership. 802 Toyota was the best experience I’ve ever had buying a new car. 2023 Tesla Model X review
I recently purchased. a Model X Long Range to replace my 2021 Audi e-tron; I couldn’t be happier. The Tesla is faster, more efficient, and more fun to drive and the charging network is second to none. Interior quality and ride are comparable. My dogs love the extra room and Dog Mode in the Tesla. I have no regrets!
