I purchased many different trucks over the years and landed recently on my new to me 2017 Ram Laramie 4x4. It does everything well and tows like a semi 5.7 Hemi with 3.92 rear gear and the 8-speed transmission.

Outstanding truck Ride quality is best in class as is fit and finish. Drive a Chevy/gmc/ford and then drive a Ram. Just make sure you get a hemi.

My only problem is changing a headlight bulb you need to be a mechanic. Probably one of the hardest to replace on any vehicle. Half to take apart a lot just to get to it. Completely ridiculous.

The dealer was knowledgeable and patient. He showed us multiple cars and went over the differences between them which helped us make the best choice.

I purchased a 2017 Rebel from the show room floor and haven't been disappointed. We've put 115k miles on it in 7 years and have no issues or complaints. I use it for light towing at times and have had no issues but mostly it's a daily driver. Great power, spacious and comfortable interior. Only a couple things I don't like, 1. the door hinges are junk and squeak most all the time. 2. the tiny led light that shines down on the center console cannot be turned off or dimmed. 3. Mopar service departments are the worst!! I can tell SOOO many stories of how our local Mopar service department in Brownsburg, Indiana should be run out of business!! Estes Dodge...don't waste your time!

This is my third car purchase from CAR MAX . A later model for the wife . A jeep Cherokee and is a 2019 with low mileage . She is happy and that makes US happy . The purchase was not hurried and no back and forth between Mr Smith and I . Really straightforward . Satisfied completely .

Bought it at 40k miles no issues so far. Over 100k now. I have the ram boxes on the sides for my everyday tools, spacey crew cab seats. 4wd, loud alpine speakers. I average 17 mpg. I recently had a base model 2014 ram that went over 170k miles and all I ever did was change the oil (synthetic) every 5k miles. Not 1 issue. Never had any problems with my ram trucks.

Good day/evening to all you readers. I rarely, if ever, write reviews. I am making an exception for J.J. and Car Stars, simply because of the experience. My wife and I needed a vehicle in a bad way, and were a bit dubious, due to past experiences with the dreaded "sales experience", and getting snookered. HAving set the stage, I was astounded at the lengths that JJ went to ensure that we had the best possible deal, and also explained EVERY aspect in clear and concise terms. Not once was he pushy, or arrogant, or disinterested. Buying a car on a note is not something I do frequently, so I probably will not do it again for many years, BUT if I am in the market, I will make the trek to Car Stars, and give them my money and time. I drove 2-1/2 hours to buy a car from these people and it was worth it. I passed up no less than 5 Hyundai dealerships to get to this one and let me tell you why. I wanted to buy my wife a Palisade. I quickly found out that Hyundai Palisades were in high demand. Most dealerships had only one or two and they were moving so fast that everyone was charging above sticker. Though everyone claimed to be offering more on trades than KBB, the first two local dealerships only offered me the bottom of the KBB range, then wanted $2,500 over sticker. One of them didn't even have a car to sell me and still wanted to sell me...I'm not sure what he was selling me. I started calling around and shopping in Houston. The first offered exactly what the local dealerships did. The second promised to beat any deal by $1,000 or more. I sent them my previous deal and they stopped returning my calls. 3 days later after several tries, no one would call me back. The third Houston dealership really did try. They gave me a great deal but the car they had didn't have exactly what we wanted. They tried to trade with other dealerships, but it never worked out. Thru that process, I ended up reaching out to Phillip Lam, one of the Texan Hyundai managers, who had me send him the details of what I wanted. He said, he would make it happen and asked me to make the trip. We drove 2-1/2" hours to see him and he did not disappoint. He ended up giving me a better deal than what I asked for. He paired me with Alan Perez and they worked really hard for our business. A lot of research and effort led me here. I hope my efforts and research can lead you there too.

Rees was my greeter and was an excellent source of information and sales expediter. Rees explained the CarMax process and then Listened to the car features I required. He did searches of car max inventory, searches of manufacturers’ sites for additional info, and requested transfer of a vehicle from another location. There was no pressure to buy (CarMax has a five day return policy). Paperwork was efficient, and I even got help getting both the car I bought and the car I arrived in home.
