The paperwork wasn't ready when we got there because the finance person did not communicate to the salesperson we would be there first thing in the morning, after driving all night. The salesman had me sign all the delivery paperwork before we were allowed to see the vehicle or test drive. The salesman didn't know anything about the truck, features or options, like where the DEF was located or what the lights on the instrument panel were for. The warranty process didn't work right on the computer so we didn't get a copy of it as we requested. When they took our trade, they wrote down the wrong mileage of 36,494 instead of 30,4xx still in warranty. This had to have affected the trade in value to our disadvantage. Vehicle is currently on sale with the correct mileage. The salesman was aware of how far we were coming and no offer to deliver the vehicle was made. After talking to people in our area, delivering it should not have been a problem, as you do that regularly. We are very happy with the truck, but not happy with the buying experience from Dave Smith.
