Blew away the local competition

We had been searching for the right truck for our family for weeks. We visited numerous dealers in the area, including a local dealership we had purchased a car from just last year. When we visited that particular dealership, we expected the same great service we had experienced not too long ago. Unfortunately, they had recently went through management changes that affected everything. We were given the runaround; waiting around for hours while the pricing negotiations were going back and forth. The trade allowance offer was horrible, the pricing was outrageous, we were treated with condescending remarks. When the sales manager would come back with a "best" price, we were pressured to accept. Needless to say, we were very upset when we walked out. We went to several other local dealers to look at trucks we had researched through each dealer's inventory website. Although the salesmen were nice and wanted our business, we just couldn't find the right one. Either they had already sold the truck we wanted to see, the prices on the ones we were interested in were too high, some would try to push us above our price range, or they offered a very low trade allowance. We saw a truck we were interested in at Gibson Truck World. We went there on a Saturday night about 30 minutes before closing to look around. Troy came out to greet us and walked all around the lot with us. He was very personable and we felt very comfortable with him. He listened to our past experiences. Troy told us about Gibson Truck World and their approach to selling vehicles. He listened to what we were looking for and proceeded to show is trucks on the lot that were in our price range. When we looked at the truck we later purchased, he let us take it for a test drive. Troy never rushed us, even though it was past closing time! We talked about the truck we were interested in, pricing, trade, and warranty information. When we told Troy we wanted to think about it overnight, he understood. He pulled the truck around to hold it and told us to come back by on Sunday. We went back the next day and decided to purchase. The entire team was absolutely fantastic. Everyone was transparent with all information. Not only were we given the vehicle's service history, we were given pricing breakdowns for the new truck and our trade. We were treated fairly and it was nice to be a partner in business rather than just a buyer. While we were finishing the paperwork, Troy went and cleaned the new truck. He transferred the tag from our old vehicle. The entire process took less than 3 hours. Gibson Truck World was amazing. They treated us wonderfully, including our son who was excited about the new truck. We appreciate the smooth process, the honesty & transparency, and how Troy went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. We were never pressured. If you're in the market for a truck, don't waste your time at the other big name dealerships. We will always go to Gibson Truck World first!
