I had the TYPICAL EXCELLENT service experience at Johnson Subaru when I brought my Outback in for service. They were very explained what would be serviced and I even received a video from the mechanic describing what was being done and my vehicle’s general condition (it was in excellent condition). Sydney, my service counselor, was great in that she was professional, friendly and attentive. I arrived when they were super busy and she moved quickly to assist me in dropping off my vehicle. I love to wait at JohnsonSubaru’s facility when getting routine maintenance services. The facility is amazing. It’s very peaceful and open. It’s a great place to read and to browse the showroom.

I have to say, this was the most pleasant buying experience I've ever had. Sales people were extreemly knowledgable, cheerful, and not pushy. Maybe even more impressive were the mechanics- probably the most experienced mechanics I've ever delt with- and in 40 years of driving and working on cars, that's saying something. Where else can you go and try out a dozen cars from as many different companies, all in one place.
2024 Subaru Outback review
The acceleration lag that this car has is immediately outweighed by everything else. This car is super smooth and granny sedan comfy, and it has more utility than any equally priced SUV. The roof rails have built-in cross bars that stow, it tows 3500 pounds, and the Harmon-Kardon sound system kicks. It has butt fans, people. Additionally, the aftermarket base is thick, so accessories, customization, and reflashing options abound. The tech is old, the powertrain is old, but you see 300 of them a day for a reason.

2024 Subaru Outback review
We currently own the Outback 2024 XT, and it’s a great car to drive. However, its turbo CVT engine does produce a slight lag in acceleration and when slowing down. Just a matter of getting used to. Also had issue with the lift gate button, which broke after only two months in possession. My wife and I are in our 60s, and all our kids have their own families, so thank goodness we don’t have to drive those 8 seater SUVs anymore. This outback has been the best alternative for us.

I would give them 10 stars. This is my second Forester I've gotten from them- the first 15 years ago. I had it serviced by Hendrick and was very satisfied. This time I wanted a late model low mileage certified pre owned vehicle. I worked with Sales Associate Jay Weil. She made every effort to understand what i wanted. I purchased the second one i drove. I was treated as an important person by Jay and others. And i got a great value gor my trade-in. The dealership took care of all DMV activities which is HUGE. I would highly recommend Hendrick Subaru and Jay Weil.

Ten years ago, I bought a Subaru Forrester at Performance Subaru Chapel Hill later to become Hendricks Southpoint Subaru. Then on March 15 that car was hit by a bus and my Subaru saved me from injury. Thereafter I went to the Southpoint Hendricks Subaru dealership( which for 10 years had serviced my car) to buy another Subaru Forrester - I am an artist and that car works well for me. Client advisor Bryan Phillips was so welcoming - I had called him stating my preferences- and he had lined up a Forrester Hybrid and a Forrester combustion, both in grey, for me to see. The Forrester Hybrid immediately caught my attention and Bryan explained its workings and took me for a test drive. I was sold on it and on returning to the dealership he explained the car’s features and the next purchasing steps. He turned my accident experience into something positive and his capacity as a sales professional was impressive.After purchasing the car Joseph Rossman gave me a comprehensive overview of its electronic workings to the extent that I was able to understand its hybrid functioning, and all the safety features which make a Subaru so special. His understanding of the system was impressive and again I felt that I was dealing with a true professional.I am so fortunate to be part of this dealership’s family and know that in these two Subaru employees I have people to whom I can return to if necessary. My situation must have been the most difficult situation ever at a Carmax, even though it was tough and the Managers and Myself got frustrated at times Ed, Dave, Eric, and Chris (Carmax Charleston Managers) never gave up on me and worked hard to make this thing happen. I came to them looking for my dream car, the Mitsubishi Lancer RalliArt or Evolution on a limited budget. They found the vehicle and brought it in, I bought the vehicle and there were a few problems with it, the guys took the car back no questions asked and found another one, even though there were some other issues that occured the Management staff at Carmax stuck by me and helped me make it happen. Anyone new to the car buying process should go see the team at Carmax, Charleston, as they will guide you through the process and explain it to you the whole way through! I had made the mistake of scheduling a service appointment at the Salisbury dealership but my appointment was at the Lexington dealership what a blessing it was they waited on me which they didn’t have to so glad they did they saw something the needed attention and took care of it I could go on and on but I want just saying they treated me better than I expected I will drive further to go there even if the other ones are closer

my wife and I were looking for an MDX, had been looking several weeks, when we recently stopped by Jerry Hunt Auto...we were assigned to salesman, Axel Camargo, who was friendly, polite, helpful, and knowledgeable about the car we desired. He found nothing that day, suggested close alternatives,etc. but we chose to wait. Axel continued the hunt for what we wanted, which showed up on Cars.com and was at Jerry Hunt's. Alex was called by us, showed us that car, not pushy, though, and we made the purchase. He followed up with us a few days later, which was nice of him. Zack, who did the paperwork, was also very polite, and thorough...would recommend Jerry Hunt Auto...ps, and ask for Axel
