2019 Subaru Outback review
I am in my seventies and didn't want to buy new so i I looked at over twenty used vehicles during my search. This Subaru Outback was the best driving vehicle of all that I tried. Shopping for new car. Had one shipped from another carmax. Took car for 24hr test drive. Took to Firestone; was showed a badly rusted undercarriage. Returned outback to carmax Dothan. They said they'd have a look at it, that it might be within their specs but not ours. Manager offered to reimburse us the inspection and shipping fee. Can't argue with that. Great customer service.

Best vehicle I have ever owned. Dependable, safe, comfortable ride, great fit & finish and responsive and overall excellent quality. No problems in 48,000 miles.

2016 Subaru Outback review
The 2016 Subaru Outback is the first car I'd ever bought brand new, and I haven't been disappointed since it was purchased 7 years ago. It's very reliable, fun to drive, easy on gas, easy on maintenance and easy on the eyes. Will do it all over again when I make my next Subaru purchase!

2018 Subaru Outback review
I bought my outback new in March 2018. After putting about 85,000 miles on it the only thing I had ever replaced for windshield tires and battery. The battery seems to go out most often every 30,000 miles or two years at about 85,000 miles we had an oil pan leak that was small but we had it repaired since it was covered under extended warranty. I’ve also had water leak into the drivers door, electronics and shorted out my driver‘s window. The Travers side seat bolster of leather, has also ripped and torn quite badly. However, I have not done a very good job at keeping it up overall it’s been a very good vehicle. Written April 5th 2026.

Our sales advisor, Leo was awesome. He was kind, considerate and very accommodating. Most of all, he knew everything about the vehicle and explained in detail. We visited Giles Volvo 12 years ago. We stood in the showroom for 30 minutes and no one acknowledged us or offered to help. We left, drove to Baton Rouge and left same day with a Lexus. We’ve purchased 5 Lexus vehicles during that time and referred 3 friends who also made a purchase. I decided to give Giles another chance. This time the experience was totally different. We were greeted by Leo within a minute of walking in. Leo has restored my faith in Giles and is a great asset to their organization. I will refer friends and family and anyone interested in purchasing a new vehicle to Leo. The only suggestion I would give would be to give a few Volvo branded items with the purchase. I have many Lexus whiskey glasses, mugs, tote bags and umbrellas. Pulling out a Lexus umbrella and wearing my Lexus watch now feels like I’m cheating on my new Volvo 😂.
