2018 Ford Escape review

2024 GMC Terrain review

2024 Ford Mustang Mach-E review
I bought a 2024 Rally which is the highest trim in a Mach E . It is very fast and fun smooth on the highway and can be driven on a dirt track as well as used as an every day vehicle. My only complaint is the range could be a little better and charging should be faster because the vehicle is already in its 4th year of production other than that as a long time EV owner I love the car after a month of ownership.

2024 Subaru Crosstrek review
Too early to be sure of reliability, but my previous 4 subarus were great. I came here to say how much I like this new purchase, a used '24. Great cruise features. Good power & performance (2.5L) so I'm happy with the CVT. I just love it. They're still a bit lighter and noisier than the outback/legacy versions.

2019 Ford Escape review
I Loved my 2019 Ford Escape! It was my third Escape, as I previously owned a 2005, and a 2011! Sadly, it was my last as FORD's new version of the Escape is AWFUL! I NEVER had one issue with my 2019, and I drove over 94,000 miles over the 6 1/2 Years that I owned it! However, the resale value SUCKS! I know it's just the game they play at the dealers, but it's an ugly game where the consumer always loses! But - it's only money,,, and you can't take it with you!

2020 Ford Escape review
Drove this 2021 escape hybrid got 40mpg and the seats were nice. The interior is not bad for the price its cheap but not fall apart cheap. On the outside it's just another white SUV the ride is a bit harsh and the 2.5 4 banger is a reiable engine. All is forgiven when the price is considered $24,000 ($21,000) after NJ EV rebate not bad for the money wireless Android Auto would have been nice though.

2020 Ford Escape review
I bought a used 2020 Ford escape hybrid titanium with 33,000 miles. I came from a 2015 X3 and I am surprised how well this car handles and feels firmly planted. I love the electric driving at slow speeds and you can hear the gas engine come on and it’s louder than my BMW, but I am still pleasantly surprised by the low level of road noise at highway speeds. Mine is Persian green, which is rare, and absolutely beautiful after I waxed it. The exterior is pretty good, considering its price range, and the interior is subpar with the hard plastic on the doors, but overall, the controls are very intuitive, easily reachable, and after I learned how to use all the options, my favorite feature is the adaptive cruise control with stop and go and lane centering. The car basically just drives itself, even in the city at low speeds. I just have to make the turns and stop at red lights and stop signs if there is no car in front of me. I also love the short stopping distances with the brakes, which feel great and confidence-inspiring, and the steering actually feels better than in my BMW, which was too light at highway speeds. Another feature that sold me was how much legroom there is in the backseat, especially the fact that you can recline the backseat a little bit and also push it a few inches back to create more legroom. There is definitely more legroom in the front and back than in my BMW, even though my BMW was a few inches longer than this car. I love the look of the RAV4 hybrid XLE and it has more cargo room, but if you check the user reviews, you’ll see that the Escape hybrid actually beats it in mpg and in my area, I would’ve paid $8k - $9k more for a similar used RAV4 so I felt like the Escape hybrid was a better value overall. I rarely buy extended warranties with cars, but I did with this one since it was such a good deal at only $4000 but it gave me seven years of extended coverage and up to 80,000 more miles, whichever comes first. Considering how tariffs will affect car part pricing and car repair bills, I thought this was a an exceptional value, just like the car itself. I’ve only had it for three weeks, but I am really enjoying driving the car and seeing how little gas it sips.

2018 Hyundai TUCSON review
Let me add to the engine problems. Overall I really like this vehicle. We have taken many trips and enjoy the feel on the road. Maintenance has not been a major issue until recently. It started using oil on a regular basis. About a quart every two to three weeks. At around 92k miles it is now in the shop waiting to see if Hyundai will honor their warranty. It needs a new engine. It runs ok now, for a sewing machine. Hopefully Hyundai will honor their warranty and I can get another 90k miles out of the vehicle.

I cannot speak any higher of my experience with the professionals at Ray Price Mount Pocono dealership. The customer service I received is some of the best I have experienced anywhere. I randomly chose Ray Price simply because they had a great selection of the type of used vehicle I was looking for; I wanted to avoid hopping from one place to the next. They were an hour away, but the drive was worth it to me. My buying experience went very smoothly – they made it stress-free and easy. I highly recommend working with Jimmy – he wasn’t there to sell me a car; he was there to help me find a car that would fit my personal needs and one that I loved while still staying within my budget. He is extremely knowledgeable, easy to work with, friendly and honest, and listened carefully to help make relevant recommendations. A bit of a twist… I had a problem with my vehicle when I took it home. If I had purchased from a private seller or one of those roadside car dealers, this story would not have had a good ending. However, both Jimmy and Brian (general manager) worked with me to make things right. They were extremely cooperative, helpful and respectful. The situation was examined thoroughly, and many fair options were offered and considered. It naturally took some time to work through the process, but Brian had great follow through in keeping in touch with me along the way. I am extremely pleased with the positive outcome and – long story short – very thankful I went to Ray Price Mount Pocono to purchase my vehicle. 2025 Ford Bronco Sport review
I’ve only had my Bronco for a little over month now and have only driven it for 2 weeks because I was away but I am very pleased with it and highly recommend it. My last vehicle was a Jeep which I drove for 10 years and never reached 60,000 miles. I am confident that my Bronco Sport will serve me just as well as the Jeep.

2025 Ford Bronco Sport review
I’m 54 years old and this is the most fun vehicle I’ve ever owned. I’ve always been a Chevy owner. I’ve had everything from a Corvette Z06 and Camaro SS to a Colorado ZR2 and this is the first time I have looked for excuses to drive a vehicle. It handles great, super comfortable and fun. Plus it looks great! It’s been every bit as reliable as any other car I’ve owned. Let’s talk fuel mileage… I’m averaging 29 mpg in the city.

2020 Ford Escape review
I purchased a new 2020 Ford Escape Titanium 2.0 AWD in early 2021. Four years and 60,000 miles later, I have little to complain about. The Negatives: Like many newer vehicles, the reliabilty has kept me guessing. The car has had trips to the dealership at 2k miles for a check engine light and rough idle, and various coolant leaks at 30k, 45k, and now 60k. I may try to schedule next years coolant leak appointment at 75k, and hope nothing else goes wrong. I am nervous for reliabilty going forward outside of the warranty. Also, the car depreciated at a painful rate. The Positives: This thing moves! The 2.0 turbo has 250hp and plenty of torque, giving it a surprisingly sporty feel in a little SUV. With highway driving, I regularly get between 35-42mpg. I have also been impressed with its towing ability. It will regularly tow up to the maximum of 3,500 lbs, including a 12' enclosed trailer full of furniture. It handles towing like a champ, while getting 14-16mpg (better than some trucks empty). Other notable positives are the interior design and function, the Fordpass app, and the driving technology (HUD, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Early version of Blue Cruise). Overall, it's a great car for the value. Perfect for a small family or dog owner, looking for something economical and versatile. You may want to get on a first name basis with the local Ford service department and have a backup vehicle.

2023 Kia Sportage Hybrid review
Just a terrific car for the price. I'm 6'6" tall and have long legs and I'm more comfortable in this car than I am in many much larger vehicles. I've gotten over 40 MPG since I've owned it and am really enjoying driving it with the lane assist and auto hold features.

2023 Hyundai TUCSON review
I've had this vehicle limited fwd edition over a year now and it's still awesome as the first day I bought it. Smoother ride and quieter ride than the Honda CRV or the Toyota RAV4. I love that it has GDI and multiport injection which the competition does not. I also love that it has a regular transmission and not a CVT. This vehicle comes with all the luxuries my old Cadillacs had plus a lot more features. This car has plenty of pick up and go. You just have to learn to push down on the accelerator not punch it. I would highly recommend this to anyone in the small SUV class. Cause believe me I test drove them all, and this was by far the quietest smoothest ride and most comfortable car that I test drove.

2024 Lexus NX 350 review
2024 NX 350 F Sport has some great options I didn't know I'd ever need. Being able to customize just about everything is great. The Lexus system itself is easy to use but takes getting used to coming from a 2019 Jeep Compass Sport. Heads-up display, the large display screen is great, although I will say the climate controls are a bit awkward to use. It's easy enough to turn off, but turning it on is another issue. The safety features are awesome, from not being able to open the driver door if traffic is coming from behind to the lane assist, I am super happy with it. The F Sport has some giddy-up that is no joke, there are settings you can utilize; Eco, Normal, Sport, and Sport +. Each one has its advantages and disadvantages, but all are top-notch. The interior has a beautiful, sleek design that screams luxury. The only thing it is missing is the panoramic sunroof I am used to. That being said, I am very happy with my purchase.

Jeff was very knowledgeable & patient while answering our questions, allowed us all the time we needed to check out the vehicle & pick his brain, and was honest about everything. When we began to discuss costs, there was no shell game and he was upfront about all that we asked about. There were no hidden costs, he explained how the process would work, was fair with our trade and did all he could to be sure we were satisfied before we signed the bottom line. When we went to pick up the car the finance manager was just as professional and explained each and every page we were signing. Jeff patiently spent a great deal of time with us explaining all of the electronics and settings to ensure we were confident in how everything worked. He also provided his number so we could reach out with any questions after we drove it for a few days. Before calling Jeff, I was dealing with a local, "big name" dealer close to my home who was not nearly as customer focused as the folks at LeadCar. There is something to be said about dealing with a small-town dealer with honest salespeople. Many thanks to Jeff and the team for making this experience such a pleasure!

2023 Volvo C40 Recharge Pure Electric review
I’ve owned my 2023 Volvo C40 Recharge Ultimate for about a month now, and it’s been nothing short of impressive. The design immediately stands out with a modern, sculpted look that feels unique on the road. Mine is in Thunder Grey with the Fjord Blue interior, and the combo turns heads everywhere. Performance-wise, it’s quick and quiet with instant torque that makes merging and city driving effortless. The one-pedal drive is smooth once you get used to it, and the all-wheel drive gives me confidence in any weather. Inside, the cabin feels luxurious yet understated. The Fjord Blue interior with backlit panels creates a calm, high-end atmosphere. Google built-in is convenient, though it can lag at times. The Harman Kardon sound system is crisp and full, and the panoramic glass roof makes the cabin feel bright and open. For now, I charge at Tesla Superchargers for convenience. A charger was actually installed in my high-rise the day after I bought the car, but it’s not operable yet. I’m looking forward to using it once it’s active. The range has been consistent in real-world use, and I appreciate Volvo’s focus on sustainability without sacrificing comfort or performance. If I had to nitpick, I’d say some software features could be more refined, and visibility through the rear window is limited, but the 360° camera helps a lot. I installed a digital rearview mirror through the Volvo dealer where I purchased my car. Overall, the C40 Recharge feels like a personal luxury cocoon. It’s quiet, confident, and thoughtfully designed. It’s a car that makes me look forward to driving every day.
