2023 Toyota bZ4X review
What I do not like Remote start: There is no option just to start the HVAC, you have to start the car. The car needs to be locked. Why not combine 2 functions - lock first, then start HVAC. After getting into the car and starting, a number of features do not work and need manual intervention: Auto setting for heated seats and steering wheel Phone no longer connects. Manual intervention needed to connect CarPlay (several taps) I have not been able to get scheduled HVAC going from the app. Multi-Information display is almost obstructed by steering wheel. And I am 6’2”. Steering-wheel buttons are crowded. Setting, canceling, resuming buttons are close together and I need to look at the wheel to find the right button. Audio volume is much easier with a knob… I had to restrict the upper range of the lift gate opening so it would not hit the garage door. Now I hit my head on the lift gate edge if I am not careful. My car came with only 1 key fob. Several months later still no 2nd fob. Heat takes a long time to come on. Lack of recording cameras, like Tesla. Knob to put in Drive or Reverse. Easy to select the wrong direction. Pushbuttons are easier. Only randomly is CarPlay activated when starting car. I only want Carplay. What I like Auto parking brake. Seats are comfortable. Easy to drive the car smoothly. Comfortable. Auto heated seats and steering wheel. Qi wireless charger Wireless CarPlay (will not buy a car without it) Rubber car mats. Overall comments: I like the car, but the interfaces in the Hyundai Kona Electric I had previously were better.

Keyes Hyundai of Mission HillsReviews
Keyes Hyundai of Mission Hills review
5 Stars for Keyes Hyundai of Mission Hills I recently brought my 2021 Hyundai Elantra to Keyes Hyundai of Mission Hills after having ongoing problems following an engine replacement performed at another Hyundai dealership. I came in because of a rattling noise and excessive vibration from the engine compartment. What impressed me immediately was that the Mission Hills team actually took the time to diagnose the problem rather than simply guessing at it. They found excessive play in the engine mount, determined that it was causing the excessive vibration, and replaced the engine support/mount under Hyundai warranty at no charge to me. The repair corrected the problem. I was especially happy to discover that several people I knew from Parkway Hyundai are now working at Mission Hills. I had worked with some of these people previously, and it was great to see familiar faces who treated me like a customer rather than just another repair order. Their inspection also uncovered several other issues that concern me following the previous engine replacement, including oil leaks, a previously repaired engine-harness/throttle-body connector, transmission cooler hose concerns, and missing underbody components. Mission Hills documented these conditions with photographs and provided me with a detailed inspection report. Unfortunately, my experience with AutoNation Hyundai Valencia has been very different. After the engine replacement there, I experienced a series of problems and ultimately brought the car back because of the vibration and rattling. I was not satisfied with the diagnosis or the customer service I received there. Another mechanic pointed me toward the motor mount, and Mission Hills subsequently confirmed excessive play in that mount and repaired it under warranty. I’m not claiming that every issue Mission Hills found was caused by AutoNation—the cause of those individual conditions still needs to be determined. But after seeing what Mission Hills documented, I have serious concerns about the quality of the previous work and how my subsequent complaints were handled. The difference in customer service was night and day. Thank you to Ian Archer, the technician, and the Mission Hills Hyundai service team for taking my concerns seriously, properly diagnosing the vibration, documenting what they found, and getting the warranty repair handled immediately. This is the kind of service I expect from a Hyundai dealership. Mission Hills Hyundai earned my future service business. Highly recommended. Special thanks to Ian the service advisor and Hoveck the Service Manger. They have my business from now on. The AutoNation service manager said he was too busy to address my concerns and to come back tomorrow . Bad move Philip Salas !

Keyes Hyundai of Mission Hills review
The Amazing Positive Experiences I have received in 2026 by the KEYES MISSION HILLS HYUNDAI SERVICE DEPARTMENT have made me rethink what Quality in Service Truly Is and Should Be at Automotive Dealerships Nationwide. Most of the time, we are all provided reasons why you should never use the service dept at a dealership...High Prices, etc. Keyes Mission Hills Hyundai has completely redefined what Excellence in a Service Department is and Should Always Be. From the smallest of requests to a Full List of Warranty and non-Warranty repairs, the Service team of HOVIK and JAIME have consistantly went Above and Beyond that of ANY automotive service group I have EVER experienced in my lifetime. Issue after issue was handled with Courtesy and Professionalism and at a Very Fair Price. I say all of this and I do not live in California. I Live In Kansas City, Missouri. As a Long-Distant Customer (Father) who has never stepped foot in this dealership, this Service Department treated me (And my California-Based Daughter) with the Utmost Respect and Dignity. Thank You Keyes Mission Hills Hyundai for your Dedication To Excellence!
2024 Hyundai IONIQ 5 review
I’ve really enjoyed my 2024 Ioniq 5 Limited. The combination of comfort, performance, technology, and distinctive styling makes it a great EV for everyday driving. The Limited trim has a lot of features, and the interior feels spacious and upscale. The AWD gives it plenty of power, while the ride is quiet and smooth. Home charging is convenient and significantly cheaper than gasoline, especially compared with my previous vehicle. I also like the 800V fast-charging capability for longer trips. Overall, the Ioniq 5 feels like a well-designed EV rather than simply a traditional car converted to electric. Pros: Comfortable, quick, spacious, excellent technology, great driving experience, low charging cost. Cons: Built-in navigation could be better, and the charging network experience still isn't as seamless as Tesla's. Overall: Highly recommended.

Keyes Hyundai of Mission Hills review
I had a wonderful experience at Mission Hills Hyundai for my recent oil change! A special thank-you to Ian Archer, who did an amazing job and provided all the information and reassurance I needed to feel confident about my car. His professionalism, helpfulness, and attention to detail gave me real peace of mind. My car is running great, and I’m absolutely loving my Hyundai Santa Fe Hybrid! Thank you, Ian and the Mission Hills Hyundai team, for taking such great care of me and my vehicle. Highly recommend!
2024 Hyundai IONIQ 5 review
I've had my Ioniq 5 for almost 10 months. I chose to lease the car because 1) the EV technology is changing so quickly and 2) to make sure an EV was the right vehicle for me. So far, I've been very pleased with almost everything about the car. At an 80 percent charge, I get 270 miles consistently. The car came with free charging at Electrify America charging stations, but I've yet to use one as I charge at home which costs me virtually nothing as I have a solar panel array that provides plenty of energy for my home and car. The ride, for the most part, is comfortable (the seats could be a little more comfortable). There are plenty of features that I appreciate (all of the warning sensors come in handy, the voice system is good and Bluelink works well). The only downside (for me) is that I got the standard long range edition which gets in excess of 300 miles on a full charge but is missing some of the more refined options (mirrors that fold in when parked, power lift gate, driver seat memory, etc.) If I had to do this again, I would have gone with the next model up. My lease will be up in March of 2026, and unless there is something that I think is better in the EV space, I'll be leasing another Ioniq 5.

Keyes Hyundai of Mission Hills review
I had a great experience at Mission Hills Hyundai! The dealership is new, clean, and modern, and the service was fast and efficient from start to finish. The entire service team was great, but I want to give a special shoutout to Ian Archer. A friend recommended that I specifically ask for him, and I’m so glad I did. Ian genuinely cares about his customers and their vehicles. He took the time to explain the necessary repairs, recommended maintenance, and what needed to be done to keep my vehicle in good condition. I felt confident that my car was in good hands throughout the entire process. We even purchased another Hyundai Kona, and I will definitely be bringing both vehicles to Mission Hills Hyundai for future service and maintenance. Although Hyundai Van Nuys is closer to our home, I prefer Mission Hills Hyundai because of the customer service experience. Unfortunately, my past experiences at Van Nuys left me feeling that the service advisors were rather cold toward customers and sometimes recommended additional services that didn’t seem necessary or were not yet called for in the vehicle’s maintenance schedule. Great customer service makes all the difference, and Ian is an excellent example of that. If you need service or maintenance for your Hyundai, I highly recommend Mission Hills Hyundai and strongly encourage you to ask for Ian Archer. He will take the time to explain things clearly and make you feel that your vehicle is truly in good hands!
2023 Hyundai IONIQ 5 review
The Ioniq 5 is the safest and most comfortable car I've ever driven. Now that I have a Tesla charging adapter, the charging infrastructure is less of a challenge and my range-seasonal variations from 190 to 290 miles-is sufficient. I have had an issue with the 12-volt battery unexpectedly failing but otherwise the car has been extraordinarily dependable.

2025 Honda CR-V review
The CRV is a luxury mid size hatchback. Smooth riding, handles well in Michigan’s winter weather 🤒. Good miles per gallon. I do drive in economy mode. I am still getting used to the size after driving a Honda Odessy. Good overall view. No obvious blind spots. I wish it had a manual garage opener feature on on the Ex.

2017 Nissan Rogue review
Don’t know why people hate Nissans with CVT. Now that I’ve lived with the CVT with 140,000 miles I know I wouldn’t buy another one, but it’s been just fine, no issues. This isn’t a sporty vehicle but for 8 years and 140k miles it gets the job done every time. I just don’t get the hatred towards these cars. I do have AWD but if I were to do it over I’d drop that option. It’s expensive to maintain and truthfully I don’t go outside when the weather is bad anyway so I doubt the AWD feature has ever engaged, not even once. I plan to keep my vehicle for 10 years then get a minivan.

2020 Mercedes-Benz GLB 250 review
I love the car so far but I’ve only had it for two weeks. I had a 2015 Equinox before getting the GLB250. I looked at the GLA and GLC, as well as other manufacturers, but really liked the GLB. I must say I was smitten with Mercedes-Benz and always wanted to own one. So my thought process was rather jaded. I got the AMG package that offered a few other options that I like as well. I was concerned about it only being a inline 4 instead of a V6 but it seems to have the pickup and drive to soften that concern. The only thing that is stupid is the easy exit seat. It does not function as to what your definition of easy exit would be. Other vehicles have what I would consider easy exit. This vehicle does not. Even the sales associate was dumbfounded by it.

2026 Toyota bZ review
Toyota decided to get serious with their electric compact suv over their earlier version. Lowered the price making it competitive with all others in this class. Also making it now competitive is the increase in driving range, the XLE AWD model gets a significant boost with a 288 mile range. In addition the horsepower on the XLE AWD increased to 338 providing 0-60 in the middle 4 second range… that’s head snapping power. Also, major improvements were addressed to the charging system… now able to charge significantly faster and it comes using the NACS (North American Charging Standard) outlet connection for faster charging ( (originally called the Tesla charging connection). I personally enjoy driving the bZ around town but also on major roads. It runs quietly as an electric should but also isolates road noise. The instrument panel is different but coming from driving my plug in hybrid Prius Prime I’m used to different. I trust Toyota overall quality over all other manufacturers whether the vehicle is a traditional combustible gas engine or now electric.

My tenth Mazda since 2010. Good looking vehicle, interior is well done. My only issue is road noise from the tires. It is a Turbo Premium Plus but louder than my 2019 CX9 GT. Not much wind noise or any other noise but just the tires.

My daughter was in a market for a new car. My wife's friend recommended Miguel. He was patient and showed my daughter several different options. At the end we drove away in Mazda CX5. My daughter couldn't be happier. Thank you Miguel.
2024 Mazda CX-5 review
This is my first CX-5. I love it. Previously I drove a mazda tribute which was a 6 cylinder. I was reluctant to purchase a smaller vehicle with a smaller engine, but I’ve been pleased. My only negative comment is regarding the leg room in the back seat. It’s not great but workable for most average size adults.

Wife is recovering from her wreck and finally able to get her into her new replacement car with my high school and college bud Miguel Lopez at @galpinmazda @galpinmotors @galpinautosports. This is my 3rd car lease or purchase through him as it’s always so smooth, easy and definitely will work to get the best deal in Southern California. He knew that we were in a time crunch to get back to my sons Sport Awards ceremony and made it all happen to get us there in time. Look for him or call me for his contact info. Be back in a few months to replace my other lease that’s coming to an end
2024 Mazda CX-5 review
I absolutely love my 2024 CX5 Preferred. It's my first SUV and my first Mazda (after 3 Cutlasses, 2 BMW's, an Audi, an Acura, and 4 Lexus sedans) and I couldn't be happier. The interior is luxurious, the ride is powerful yet smooth and quiet (equal to Lexus) and the handling is great. I test drove a RAV4 and a CRV and there was no comparison. It's fun to drive and I recommend it whole-heartedly.

2024 Mazda CX-50 review
Other than an error code that was fixed about a month after purchase. The CX-50 has been a pleasure to drive. Very responsive and once you get used to the safety feature built into the cruise control that is fine as well. It will slow down automatically when approaching a slower moving vehicle. If you change to passing lane it will then speed up until set speed or you approach another vehicle. Gas mileage is 24 city and it seems like 28 to 30 highway. Not actually calculated that but miles oer tank increases. Love the car but for me back seats seem to sit too straight. Not sure if they can recline or not.

2025 Mazda CX-50 review
I am very happy with my purchase. I already owned a 2018 CX-5 and it never gave me any problems so I had no qualms about purchasing another Mazda. I went with the CX-50 Turbo Premium Plus for the horsepower and the extra perks (i.e. automatic folding mirrors, and I like that the side mirrors also turn down to see the curb when parking, front AND rear cameras, panoramic sun/moonroof, speed display in windshield, heated and ventilated cooling seats, and a 12-speaker Bose Stereo system). I love the extra power of the Turbocharged engine that my CX-5 doesn't have. The things I don't care for: 1) the retractable cargo cover (a $250 addl charge) doesn't attack to the lift (like my CX-5 does. It's much more convenient if it's attached so there's no pulling it out each time you need to put something in the trunk; 2) I don't like that I have to turn off the automatic shut off of the engine at stops and that I have to turn it off every time I get in the car. I'd like there to be an option to turn it off indefinitely unless and until I want to turn it on; 3) I would also love it if the driver and front passenger seats raised a bit higher. I'm not short but I would feel more comfortable if the seat height lifted another couple of inches. Overall, I really love my car. The steering is tight and the ride is more comfortable than I expected, and the inside of the cab is quiet and the stereo is premium. The seats are attractive with the light colored stitching to accent the seats. Because of all the features in my model, I got a lot of bang for my buck as opposed to a more expensive car costing $20K more for all the same features with Mazda reliability as well as more reasonable/affordable maintenance costs. I had a BMW several years ago and, once out of warranty, the maintenance is ridiculously costly. Additionally, the service department at the dealership where I purchased my car is top notch and the transparency for maintenance is appreciated! In the last 7 years of owning a Mazda, I have never had a bad experience.

This is my follow up review for 2024 Mazda CX-5 Carbon Edition. I have zero complaints or nits. With just under 3k miles I am now avg 31 mpg mostly on country roads and some city driving. No highway miles yet. Do not hesitate to buy this car you will not be dissapointed. I do wish this trim came with wireless carplay and android auto but I knew that when I purchased the car. The fit and finish is amazing.

Galpin Volkswagen of San Fernando Valley review
I have leased two cars from Steve Rodgers at Galpin and I have had nothing but positive experiences! I recently saw my tire lights come on, and even though I didn't have an appointment that day, I stopped by the Volkswagen dealership anyway. They were able to take care of me right away and I was in and out in 15 minutes. Before coming to him, I used to dread going to car dealerships, but now, I get excited when I "have" to go in, because he truly make me feel like a friend; like family. His kindness, customer service and attentiveness to anything I may need is consistent and unwavering. I have referred everyone I know to him and I will continue to go to him for all of my vehicles!

Had an appointment to review my options about my KIA Optima. Was in a very tuff situation with over miles and my credit. Initially tried to get a KIA but ended up going to Volkswagen. Miguel and Isaac are a great team. The kept trying to find solutions for me. Yes I spent all day at the dealership but drove away in a brand new Jetta. Thank you for the hard work and dedication.

I have many good things to say about the ID.4. I've only owned it for about 500 miles so far, and I'm happy with the performance, comfort, features, and feel of the car. I cannot attest to its reliability given that I haven't owned it for long enough.

This review is for their ToyotaCare Service for my new car. I’ve had my service done twice at this dealership. Friendly and courteous staff. Nice waiting area. The repair shop is really busy so if waiting for your car expect 2 hr wait time. No problems with services done by the mechanics there. They always do a good job.

2026 Volvo XC60 review
We just leased our third XC60 having previously leased a 2021 and a 2024. We find the 2026 similar with some improvements in the interior material and I believe a bit better performance than our 2024. Being a mild hybrid the mileage is acceptable as is acceleration. Volvo has the most comfortable seats for sure.

Certified Benz & Beemer review
I felt my experience with Benz & Beemer was great. From my initial contact with the dealership to purchasing my 2023 BMW 840i, each step of the process was smooth and professionally handled. Any questions I had were promptly responded to and answered. I want to give a shout out to Andy and Claudio of Benz&Beemer who were instrumental in making my car buying experience worry free and enjoyable.
2026 Mercedes-Benz GLC 350e review
Just leased a 2026 GLC350e coming from a 2023 Mercedes EQB300. The EQB was by far the worst and least dependable car I've ever owned. In one month of driving, my initial impressions of the GLC350e are very positive. First of all, from just the cosmetic aspect, it is so much more "Mercedes like" than the EQB, having also owned earlier GLC as well as GLE models. It is far more like a GLE than even my previous C class. Materials, fit and finish, luxury and ride are superb. There is a real advancement in MBUX and electronics. While I like pure EV, it alas just isn't terribly practical now. The GLC350e is rated at 54 miles pure EV but in the first month in albeit warmer weather I'm seeing range up to 70 miles. Everything about this car is smooth, comfortable and attractive. The Verde Silver Metallic paint elicits lots of complements. I cannot yet speak to reliability since the vehicle still only has 500 miles on odometer and I'll revise this review as appropriate. In ICE mode, the 4 cylinder is a bit sluggish but at 77 years old, so am I. I don't see the 4 as a real issue but I did prefer my 6 cyl GLE. So, very positive initial review.
