I flew from California to meet my wife to drive a new truck back home (my retirement present). We called on your 2021 GMC 1500 TEXAS Edition that showed was in-transit. Your sales person went out of his way to find this recently delivered vehicle and was able to offer it at similar pricing to what we had already lined up to purchase in San Antonio. Your staff held this vehicle for us without a deposit (which the other dealer wanted/non refundable) while we drove from San Antonio. We arrived expecting high pressure sales pitches and unwanted add-ons. WE GOT NONE OF IT!!! Your team was awesome and we received nothing but excellent service. Your Finance Person/Closer went above and beyond to work with our Credit Union that turned out to be problematic even though we were pre-approved. 2024 GMC Yukon XL review
I just purchased a 2024 Yukon Denali XL. This is my 3rd Yukon. So needless to say I am sold on this style of vehicle. The style and comfort are impeccable. Had a 2009, 2019 and now a 2024 XL. Never had any problems.

Its a decent car, but on a car frame. I had a GMC Envoy a truck frame SUV and it was so much nicer to sit higher than the sedans and baby SUVs on the road. Doe have nice accelerations and mileage tho.

2024 GMC Yukon review
Purchased new in October 2024. Total miles driven 9,276. Just completed a 4,734.2 mile trip through 9 states. Just a pleasure to drive. My wife and I were on the road 16 days, with only 8 driving days, longest day was 674 miles. Average driving speed was about 72+ miles per hour. Seat comfort was amazing, no discomfort, great considering having 4 back surgeries. Very solid on the road with little or no driving fatigue. Performance was great. Of the total miles, about 500 were in town driving and 300 miles was in 4x4 in a snow storm coming across Northern Texas in April. Average MPG was 26.4 with my best 500mile drive at 33mpg. The diesel engine is very quiet requiring me to check the tach sometimes to be sure I had pressed the off button. Very quiet on the road as well. This is my first diesel and I would highly recommend it. Plenty of power, great fuel economy, quiet and very responsive when you need that quick acceleration. amazingly nimble for a big SUV. The adaptive cruise works great. My previous GMC was a 2009, 6.2L V8 Yukon XL. I drove that one 140K miles over 14 years with nothing but routine maintenance, a great vehicle as well. Very happy with this 2024

2020 Ford Expedition review
2020 Ford Expedition was purchased Feb 2020 (Springfield Va). I started having transmission problems Jun 2020 (15,000 miles). I informed my service representative what was occurring during an oil change and she informed that she would have a transmission specialist look at it. I was given the all ok and l departed, but my transmission is still producing a rattling sound and it buck's when l go from park to drive, also when it changes gears it slips from time yo time. This is my Fourth new Expedition and l have never experienced anything like this. I have made 4 request that they check my transmission and it has always come back (No problem). Oct 2022 l received a call from the service department stating that my truck hadn't been in over a year. I indicated to them that l was last in for an oil change with them, April 2022. Not only did they not have records showing my oil changes, but they didn't record any of my complaints about my transmission. I took my truck to AAMCO and they indicated that it was an electrical component ( brains of the trans) that was faulty and that l needed to return to Ford to repair. I attempted to have this resolved before my warranty expired and now l have no warranty on it because l'm at 95K miles on my truck. 2019 Ford Expedition Max review
We bought our expedition in 2022 used with 23k miles. Got the cam phasers replaced right away under warranty. Other than that the only thing needing work was the front axle seal. Replaced under warranty as well. Overall an excellent vehicle. We occasionally get a weird or harsh shift but that happens maybe once a month and doesn’t cause any drivability issues. Lastly, I had to unplug the hands free power liftgate sensor as it had a tendency to close on you while you were loading groceries. Not a big deal to do without imo. The versatility of the interior is top notch if you have multiple kids in car seats. The cargo area is huge on the max. The base stereo could be better but it’s not bad. Comfy on long roadtrips. We have the max tow package and tow our 6500lb boat all summer and it handles it with ease. We average about 16 mpg but we don’t drive it gently. We checked out the suburban before we bought this and I wasn’t a fan of the seat versatility or lack there-of and the very high rear cargo floor.

2023 Jeep Wagoneer L review
I love my Wagoneer L. It cost just over 70k, so it’s not super cheap. As soon as i pulled out of the dealership lot, that car was awesome. It felt like riding on a cloud. One thing I will say is the brakes are very high, so I initially thought the parking brake was on but it was not. When you tap against the brakes it slams kind of (not violently but noticeably) but you have to really push down to actually make it stop because it is such a heavy vehicle. The outside of the car is so nice. We got the Series II in black and it was very nice looking. But the inside was even nicer. There’s a huge touchscreen with tons of entertainment options and heated and ventilated seats and black leather. It may even be more comfortable than other cars I have been in like Mercedes and Range Rovers. There was chargers at every seat, lots of space in the back for luggage and other cargo, and power seats that folded down into the floor with the push of a button. Long story short, it’s amazing for the price.

It was AMAZING, I just remember the first time i sat in this thing and it was like LEATHER SEATS AND STUFF! 2024 Lexus LX 600 review
We purchased a 2024 LX600 F Sport about 6 months and really enjoy it. While we are a Lexus family, we did an exhaustive search of all luxury SUVs before settling on the LX. What we like about the LX: it's a beautiful vehicle inside and out. We love the exterior styling and glad we ended up with the F Sport trim. The interior is gorgeous with impeccable fit and finish. The seats are very comfortable. We like the way it rides. This SUV is built like a tank. No question it is way overbuilt. As long as the Twin Turbo V6 holds up (see some of the issues on the Toyota Tundra), this vehicle should last a very, very long time which is rare these days. We also like how the LXs hold their resale value so much better than any other luxury SUV which will help with overall operating cost. What we don't like as much: smallish gas tank + not great gas mileage = frequent stops at the gas station. There aren't as many bells and whistles as you will find on an Escalade and X7 (more stuff to break in our opinion). While it is about the right size for us, it's does not have as much interior room as other 3-row SUVs. The price - is this (or any car) worth $106k-116k? Overall we love the LX600. It's not perfect but nothing else out there is.

2017 Honda Pilot review
This car is a big step up from a Nissan Altima. Lots of space and the ride is smooth. The engine is a bit noisy when idle(clicking noise from the direct injection), and there's also a drone sound when acceleratinf beyond 60mph(not sure if this could be cause of the new tires or not), but other than those noises, it's a smooth machine!

2017 Toyota Highlander review
I've always loved the look and feel of a Toyota Highlander. But I never thought I could afford one. I found my Highlander at Alton Toyota, Alton, Il. and fell in love. I asked about the price and I couldn't believe it was right in my price range. I test drove it and it was love at first drive. Everyone from the Sales-person, finance and even the Technicians. were friendly, helpful and answered all my questions. They even went above and beyond making sure I got the best loan that fit me. I love my highlander and just got back from Myrtle Beach SC, driving round trip. It is so fun to drive and all the room is unbelievable. I highly recommend both the highlander and Alton Toyota dealership!

2023 Nissan Armada review
This is our third Armada since 2012. First two were not new and we had great performance out of them. We were fortunate that general maintenance and upkeep was all we ever did to them. I will likely stay in this line as long as it is available. Having a ‘23, I will likely not be looking for a long while.

2018 Dodge Durango review
I had problems with misfire. Cylinder #5 misfire about 135000 miles. It was under extended warranty. Still cost me some dollars because the dealership some other issues needed to be repaired that they say they found and without repaired the warranty company wouldn't replace the Cylinder #5. Now I have 151000 miles and Cylinder #6 has misfire. I have a 2018 GT Plus. Very nice looking car. Now with high mileage it seems like a problem. I had all maintenance preformed including oil changes. That was very important because without that the warranty company wouldn't have paid for the repairs.

2019 Ford Flex review
I had a 2019 Ford Flex and I loved it soooo much! Once I reached 130,000 miles without any problems whatsoever, it was time to get another car. I found out that the Flex was discontinued! I loved it so much that I found a used 2019 Flex with 7,000 miles and I was so happy!! I am so disappointed that this model was discontinued! It was great in ND snow (never got stuck); great mileage; lots of room; comfortable; navigation; back up sensors, etc. Please bring the Ford Flex back!! In the 38 years since I was married and had 5 kids, this has been the BEST vehicle so far!!
