Great first experience with a Volvo. We were looking for car that could possibly be a single car that would suit our needs moving into retirement. This car appears to check all the boxes for safety, reliability, economy and luxury. We need a mid dive suv that will give us comfort on longer trips as well as the economy of the smaller 4 cylinder without compromising power as provided by the turbo. The warranty and manufacturers maintenance plan are a benefit as well.

This is the second car I have bought from Dan at Jim Bone Kia. He has always made the buying process so easy for me, I feel like he is genuinely trying to help everyone out! Super awesome guy, not annoying or sleazy like most and makes you feel comfortable when dealing with such a large purchase! This SUV competes in what I call the mid size near luxury segment. LIKES: 1.The ride is supple (easily absorbs harsh bumps) ,quiet (noise absorbing glass and abundant insulation cuts road and wind noise) average handling for a SUV. It gives a luxury level ride. (Exception: the X Pro line comes with off road tires which effects ride and noise) 2.Abundant, what I call nanny electronics for those who prefer messing with their phone rather than paying attention to driving their vehicle. 3. Seating in the Prestige trim is done tastefully in Nappa leather with good support. The driver and passenger seats come with 8 way adjustment plus lumbar adjustment. The driver seat only comes with adjustable electric thigh support. Both seats come with heating and ventilation. The second row is captain chairs that do not have electronic adjustment (why?) They do come with heating and ventilation. The third row seats are large enough for full size adults to be comfortable a rare thing in a mid size SUV, but I would not want to spend 10 hours sitting in them. 4.) Infotainment system works well, has a large screen harmon kardon sound system is excellent. You are given various access to many forms of media including apple carplay but only by cable connection (why?) 5.)Climate control can be managed by the info screen or by mechanical switches which I prefer instead of navigating through multiple layers of menus. The rear passengers have their own separate climate controls. 6.) Cargo space is large especially with the 3rd and 2nd row chairs folded down and with the roof racks, things like plywood can be hauled easily. 7.) The 5 year 60,000 mile basic and 10 year 100,000 mile powertrain warranty is the best in the industry. 8.) Fit and finish is excellent DISLIKES: 1.) There is only one engine available. If you're looking for neck snapping acceleration you will be disappointed. But it musters up 291 hp and does provide acceptable acceleration allowing you to access highway speeds without a struggle. So far overall MPG has only been 17.5 far below the published 20 -23 mpg. There could be several factors causing this: 1. the engine only has 315 miles on it, so it is not broken in. 2. the weight of the vehicle. 3.) The gearing of the tranny and the AWD setup. 4. the engine gets its hp without the use of a turbocharger (adding a turbocharger would have certainly raised the hp and mpg) In this segment V8's are not available with one exception the dodge durango. 2.) Extremely limited color selection 3.) Reliability: Because I have only 315 miles on the vehicle I'm not qualified to speak with any knowledge on the subject of reliability. OVERALL IMPRESSION In my search for a vehicle the Telluride came the closest to providing and meeting all my expectations. Yes there are vehicles out there that surpass the Telluride, but be prepared to spend an extra 20k or more. The Telluride provides a luxury ride, near luxury interior, an abundance of electronic technology, plenty of cargo space all in a good-looking package! In the end the Telluride is an excellent value for the money. The only way you're going to know if the Telluride is the vehicle to meet your needs and expectations is to drive one. I'm betting you'll be impressed.

As a proud owner of a 2014 Acura RDX, I can confidently say that I have not experienced any malfunctions with my SUV. It has been a reliable and dependable vehicle that has served me well over the years. The comfort level of the interior is something that I particularly enjoy. The seats are comfortable, and the ride is smooth. Even on long drives, I never feel fatigued or uncomfortable. Despite its age, the 2014 Acura RDX is still a competent performer on the highway. I have driven it over 100,000 miles, and it still performs admirably, achieving 30-31 mpg on the highway. The fact that I haven't experienced any malfunctions only adds to my confidence in its reliability. In terms of aesthetics, the exterior and interior of the RDX are okay compared to other SUVs in its class. But, it's not the primary reason I bought this vehicle. My focus was on a reliable and comfortable vehicle, and the RDX has certainly delivered in those areas. Overall, if you're looking for a dependable, comfortable, and practical SUV, I can wholeheartedly recommend the 2014 Acura RDX.

Great value considering the superior safety features, low maintenance and reliability. Rear wheel bearings have been replaced twice and just had the AC compressor and serpentine belt replaced. Albeit expensive repairs, all cars need something after the first 3 years. It's been 8 years and the car still run and drives like new.

After spending time with the 2024 QX80 Sensory, I’m comfortable giving it a five‑star rating—not because it’s perfect, but because of how well it delivers on the things that actually matter in this segment, especially at the cheaper real‑world transaction prices these typically sell for. The build quality stands out immediately. Material quality, fit, and finish are all genuinely impressive, and even after 30,000 miles the cabin remains tight with very few creaks or rattles. That’s something I can’t say about several other luxury brands I’ve owned, including BMW, Mercedes, and Cadillac, which tend to develop interior noises far earlier. On the road, the QX80 excels at what it’s built for. The ride is extremely comfortable, highway noise is well controlled, and the 400‑hp V8 provides smooth, effortless power. It’s a relaxed, confident cruiser that makes long family trips easy. The interior is spacious, the leather is high‑quality, and both the interior and exterior design have a clean, upscale look. Fuel economy is average for a large V8 SUV—nothing surprising there. The real drawbacks come from the dated technology. The infotainment system feels behind the times, and features like a head‑up display or massaging seats simply aren’t available. The front seats could also use more side bolstering for better support. Even with those shortcomings, the overall package is strong. When you factor in the typical selling price—often well below MSRP—the value becomes even clearer. You’re getting a large, comfortable, powerful, and well‑built luxury SUV that prioritizes reliability and long‑term durability over chasing trends. It’s not perfect, but nothing in this class is. What the QX80 does, it does exceptionally well, and that’s why it earns a full five stars from me.

Bought this car as a retired couple to travel in. Lots of room for anything you need to carry while traveling or shopping. Also used to do day road trips with two more couples. Easy for us oldies to get in the second and third row seats, or go on outings with up to 7 people. Love the charging ports for everyone in the car. It has been a very dependable vehicle.

It is a very nice vehicle… a few exceptions… no heated steering wheel, no remote start no foot controlled rear lift gate and a few other amenities that comes with many other comparable vehicles. The trim levels do not make a lot of sense like aspec is considerably more expensive but only a few amenities and the advanced is almost 20k more for a few options that are stock with Lexus and other high end suv…

This is my first CX-5. I love it. Previously I drove a mazda tribute which was a 6 cylinder. I was reluctant to purchase a smaller vehicle with a smaller engine, but I’ve been pleased. My only negative comment is regarding the leg room in the back seat. It’s not great but workable for most average size adults.

Driving over a year now, comfortable ride. Many features on the Black Edition. Automatic headlights, wipers, panoramic roof, heated seats, wiper defroster, heat/ AC works very well. Car has standard headlight washer...long hold or after so many windshield washings... just a few. Only drawback! The integrated navigation..used TOMTOM that is very poor feature. Unable to have an update. Map has trouble accurately find places...if local destination..gives location sometimes in other places or even states.

Bought this model in 2014 brand new, it's 10 years later, at 100K miles, still runs like new , only items done are maintenance so far.Tires, brakes, battery, wipers, etc. Has never been in the shop for anything else. Period.

The interior is gorgeous and I love all of the fun “toys”! I drove everything from the BMW X5 to the Lincoln Aviator and this was my favorite car to drive. It’s amazing!

Don’t know why people hate Nissans with CVT. Now that I’ve lived with the CVT with 140,000 miles I know I wouldn’t buy another one, but it’s been just fine, no issues. This isn’t a sporty vehicle but for 8 years and 140k miles it gets the job done every time. I just don’t get the hatred towards these cars. I do have AWD but if I were to do it over I’d drop that option. It’s expensive to maintain and truthfully I don’t go outside when the weather is bad anyway so I doubt the AWD feature has ever engaged, not even once. I plan to keep my vehicle for 10 years then get a minivan.

We found a truck on cars.com that was listed by The Car Dad. We called and talked with Henry, the Car Son. Henry was very helpful, told us all about the truck and the repairs that had been completed. We live 2.5 hours away, but decided to drive over there to see the truck (based on the reviews I read, I felt we were going to get a good truck from them). Henry greeted us and I could tell this was not a sleazy used car dealership. We drove the truck, talked more about it, then went into the office. Brian greeted us and was very friendly and knowledgeable. We bought the truck, and the process was very smooth. My son and I did not feel pressured. In fact, we felt they wanted to make sure my son got exactly what he wanted, and we did with this truck. We are very happy we decided to visit this dealership. When my next son is ready for a vehicle, I will check with Car Dad first!

I think for the most part, I like my car. I have had a couple issues, one of them is probably not the cars fault, (but seeing other people have the same issue, it makes me wonder) I now have 50k miles on it and in that time I have only had to replace the battery and tires, to be expected on a 6 year old car. (and windshield) The windshield is the questionable item. It seemed to crack out of nowhere and I thought I must have gotten a small rock chip while driving down the highway and just didn't see it until it started to crack. So I replaced it at a cost of almost $1000. However, I am on an Outback form and it seems to be a common complaint with outback owners of this year, having the windshield crack out of nowhere. Could it be the frame design? Maybe, but it does seem suspicious that others have had the same issue. One other problem I have had is if I let my car sit unused for like 5 days, the battery goes completely dead. There seems to be a parasitic drain somewhere on the car. It doesn't happen if I drive it every day, but if it sits for about 5 days unused, the battery goes completely dead. I have read it has something to do with the DCS system in the car, but you have to pay the dealer a diagnostic fee to verify. I drive it enough I have not gotten it checked, but next time I am at the dealer I am going to ask them about it.

This dealership/service center has always made my life easy when it comes to the vehicles I own. They get the job done, friendly service and the hours for dropping off and picking up my vehicle is a plus with my work schedule.

Runs smooth. Very comfortable. Always loved the Jeep brand so this was a natural upgrade. Love the options too. The adaptive cruise control is amazing.

Overall I'm satisfying with the car I have no issue till now the car is running 55,000 mile over, still I don't have any major problem. The space is huge inside that car that is more satisfying even if you sit in the third row and adult person can sit comfortably.

Amazing buying experience at Smothers Volvo for a new Volvo S60 T5 AWD. I purchased my previous Volvo XC60 from this dealer 5 years ago ( love that car, still going strong) and I had not been back to the dealer since ( they are quite a distance from my home) and didn’t recognize dealership- it’s been renovated and very modern - really impressive. I had spoken to the salesperson Ron Cope extensively about the car I was interested in and about my trade and we’d agree on the selling price of new car and a tenative price for my trade. When I arrived, Ron was waiting for me and my new car was waiting all prepped. He handed me the keys and let me test drive and inspect the car as he go the used car manager to examine my old car. When I returned from test driving he informed me of the old cars value (exactly what was originally promised) and he immediately started the paperwork for the sale of the car. I am not exaggerating when I say from that point to driving away in my new car was one hour!! The finance manager quickly had all my paperwork completed and I signed off all the documents in 10 minutes and after a comprehensive review of my car’s features by the specialist I was driving home smiling playing my tunes on the car’s outstanding stereo system. Just a really impressive and relaxing car buying experience - best I’ve ever had!

This car is so comfortable! The driver sits up high, with great sight lines in all directions. The seats are comfortable. The features are very intuitive. My car has automatic door locks so when I walk up to the car with my key fob, put my hand on the door handle the doors unlock. It has automatic headlight dimmer which works great. It has plenty of power for freeway acceleration. All wheel drives makes it great in snow. I’m very happy with this car.

LOVE this car, maybe a little biased since this is my 5th Forester, my 2nd Wilderness. My first Wilderness was totaled in a head-on collision when a young driver spilled coffee and veered into my lane and struck me head-on. That was my 1st Subaru Forester Wilderness and IT SAVED MY LIFE. Full curtain all-around airbag deployment with a roll, the Wilderness coming to rest on it's right side, me still strapped into seatbelt, and the Subaru automatic crash notification with a live person on the speakers asking me if I was ok and needed 911! Smoke still coming from the airbag deployments, and there is a live person coming over the speakers asking me if I'm ok. It was surreal. SUBARU FORESTER WILDERNESS SAVED MY LIFE! TYVM Subaru! LOVE this car! Gets 25+ MPG with conservative driving, a great ride and suspension, superior traction in mud and snow, load-out practically anything/rack bikes (or whatever on the roof racks), sleep in the back with ample room, superior rear-gate lift mechanism with memory, seats super-comfortable and easily adjustable, solid rear-seat leg-room, easy rear-seat fold-downs for massive cargo area that takes my full HVAC tool load-out for servicing ice baths all over the NorthEast US. A great value, especially CPO with +10K mileage (vs. new) MONEY WELL SPENT! SUBARU FOR LIFE
