Hello, We are writing to express our appreciation to Bob Johnson Toyota in Rochester NY for their absolutely outstanding customer service! We recently flew from Minneapolis MN to purchase a Dodge Charger from Bob Johnson Toyota in Rochester NY to drive home to MN. It’s concerning to buy a vehicle online, especially when investing airline tickets and a hotel stay into the cost. Of particular note was our sales consultant; Yehuda Shapira. He crawled all over the vehicle to send us video of every angle, he made last minute changes to our scheduled appointments when our flight was delayed due to mechanical problems, and then delayed again due to weather. Yehuda answered every call or text message we sent immediately- even when the dealership was closed. The vehicle we purchased was exactly as advertised, and thanks to the dealership’s expertise, closing the sale was fast and efficient. The vehicle had been through an inspection, but in the middle of a sunny day, no one thought to recheck the headlights. We followed Yehuda’s directions to see Niagara Falls before driving towards MN… it wasn’t until leaving Niagara late on Saturday night that we discovered our driver’s side headlight wasn’t working. We texted Yehuda long after regular business hours just to make him aware. He replied right away advising us to bring the vehicle to our nearest Dodge dealership, and make him aware of anything found by the technician. The headlight worked intermittently during our drive home. We brought it to our local Dodge dealer in MN who diagnosed a fuse that required replacement; we paid $132.00 for the repair, and informed Yehuda per his request. Shortly thereafter, we received a check from Bob Johnson Toyota reimbursing us the $132.00 repair. Now THAT’s Customer Service!! Ironically, I sat next to a woman on our flight to NY who advised she had ‘bought my last three cars from a Bob Johnson dealership- they’re great!’ We absolutely agree!! Our thanks to Yehuda for being so wonderfully responsive, and to Bob Johnson Toyota for really going above and beyond to provide such an exceptional customer service experience… it was so appreciated!! I stopped in with my son to trade for a new Tundra about 5 years ago. I couldn't believe the effort, of his sales rep, in assisting him in getting the exact deal he wanted. I went back the next available day to see if she would do the same for me and much to my amazement she did. My son purchased a new Tundra earlier this year and I just purchased a new Tundra a week ago. Their TV ad is no lie. They have consistently offered more for my trade, and I contact multiple dealers in multiple states. Jessica Allen worked with us on; our trade in value, any incentives available and our purchase agreement. NEVER has she come back to us saying "My sales manager won't allow" OR "Our finance manager says we can't". The deal is; straight up, straight forward and probably one of the last bastions of honest dealing. I have recommended Waite Toyota & Jessica Allen to those who have asked me about my purchase experience. I don't know if all of the sales people are taught to this standard or if it's personal ethics on her part BUT I admire these traits in people I deal with. I've talked to sales people who have bragged about their numbers and Jessica has yet come in second against any of them. (Not once have I even heard her brag about beating their deal.) I just find it hard to believe myself.
