I bought a new 2002 Honda Accord at another dealer and put 218,000 miles on it until if failed its annual NYS inspection back in December 2015. I had never had to leave the car in the shop except for routine maintenance, but the service adviser told me it would cost upwards of $2500 to make it road ready. I was ready to buy another Honda, but after discussing what I was looking for and what I could afford to pay (I've been retired for 3 years and am still learning how to live on a fixed income!), I never heard from the salesman. So, I decided to check out other dealerships, read some really good reviews about Garber and decided to give them a try and am so glad I did! My salesman, Ray Dublin, worked very hard to find me just the right car and was very patient with regards to answering all my questions. I thought I would have to settle for a late model Honda with at least 35,000 miles on it, which would have been OK. However, two days after my first visit, Ray called me to inform me that they had just obtained a 2015 Honda Civic with only 3500 miles on it and priced nearly $7000 below the MSRP. I drove over that afternoon, took a test drive and fell in love with the car. My only concern was getting the monthly payment down to an amount that my budget would allow. Ray then turned me over to one of finance managers (Mon Tran) who spent nearly two hours with me and put my mind at ease. The next day, Ray called to tell me that they had found a lender that would finance the car at an APR of 3.69%, nearly a point lower than my credit union and that sealed the deal! I never felt that I was being "pushed" or manipulated in any way and was extremely impressed by everyone involved. Even though it will probably be at least another 10 year before I consider buying another car, everyone treated me as an important customer. I will be sure to recommend Garber to my friends.
