2026 Toyota Tundra review
The 2026 Toyota Tundra is a solid contender in the full-size truck market, offering a mix of modern features and reliable performance. It comes equipped with a twin-turbo V6 engine, available in both standard and hybrid configurations. The hybrid version delivers an impressive 437 horsepower and 583 lb-ft of torque, making it a strong choice for towing and hauling. However, its maximum towing capacity of 12,000 pounds falls short compared to competitors like the Ford F-150 and Chevrolet Silverado. The Tundra's ride quality benefits from a coil-spring rear suspension, providing a smoother experience than traditional leaf springs. Inside, the cabin is spacious and functional, with an optional 14-inch touchscreen that stands out for its crisp graphics and user-friendly interface. While the interior design is practical, it lacks the luxury feel of some rivals, and certain materials feel less premium. 2026 Toyota Tundra review
In the performance category, it needs to have the gas mileage up since they went to a V6 dual turbo you ought to be knocking on 25 miles to gallon like the Chevrolet’s in the Fords,, as far as driving performance it’s great. It’s just the gas mileage. It’s suffers, and I drive at wild.

2026 Toyota Tundra review
Two weeks ago I bought a 2026 tundra 1794. Came right off the showroom floor and took it home. I spent over 25 years in the retail car business… Most of the time as a general manager. Though I bought several new cars over the years for kids and Exes this is the first new vehicle I’ve ever owned myself. And I have owned a boatload of cars over the years, but never a new one. I Actually went out to buy a used tundra V8. I found more value in the new tundra. And after I spoke to the gentleman who traded in his 2020 Toyota tundra V8 for the new tundra, and an extended test drive, I too was sold. My wife loves the heated and massaging seats. Plus, there’s heated seats in the back. I don’t know if spending over $70,000 for an any new pick up truck is smart or a good value, but I do know I love it. It’s a beast on the road and fun to drive. We took my elderly aunt and uncle to lunch in the pick up… My uncle stated “ it’s like you’re riding in a Cadillac” I now find myself creating reasons to run to the store. I question my sanity because how many loads of bread do we really need in the freezer? Hope this helps. Go drive one for yourself.
