2021 Toyota Supra review
SUPRA is back on the streets! This car makes great power, is really good looking. Will turn alot of heads. BMW makes great sports cars so Toyota made a good call putting the B58 in the car.Personally I prefer the car with a wing on the back really lives up to the Supra name.

Small talk and kind gestures speak volumes to me. When you decide you want to go to Wyatt Johnson, don’t be silly and let the front desk choose a salesperson for you! Ask for Andrea!!! You will literally want to hang out with her after! You will have to have a mini mirror session where you look yourself directly in the eyes and talk yourself out of texting her to ask if you can go to her Halloween party 🤣. I came in with my Daughter looking for a nice car for her. We left with a great car, great deal and great experience. When we walked in the door we were paired up with sales associate Travis who introduced himself and got going figuring out what she wanted. Never once did he push. He set us up to look at 3-4 vehicles and 2 to test drive. We drove, the car that was eventually purchased, and came back ready to purchase. Travis carefully talked us through the purchase process. He was very careful to let us know that there was an open recall on the vehicle. We traded in her old vehicle and received a (more than fair) offer for it!. As we were going through the payment / signing process, he kept stopping in to see how we were doing . The gentleman who helped us with the paper work was pleasant and very helpful. When the decidedly un-painful process was over, her car was ready, clean, with a full tank and ribbon-on-top. Travis saw her out of the garage and on her way. Plus he recommended a killa pizza joint for dinner. Kudos Sir and kudos to CarMax.
2026 Toyota GR86 review
The GR86, like all cars, has its positive and negatives. Background: I bought a 2026 Premium GR86 auto (despite 75% of me favoring the manual). Out the door was a bit more than 40k. GR86s are rare. It’ll be tough to get a ‘deal’ due to how few they’ll be. Expect you may have to buy one that is still in transit to the dealership. Positives of the GR86: 1. IMO, from the outside, one of the best looking sports cars on the road. 2. Exclusivity, people ask what is my car. When I say GR86, common answer “huh, I’ve never heard of it”. You’ll see very few on the road. 3. Handles superbly. Hugs turns as well as any dealership sold car I’ve driven 4. For how small it is and lower the back seat, surprising truck space (for its size) 5. Inside feel to it is combo of modern day and the classic old roadster. 6, it’s not a real 4 seater but it qualifies as a 4 seater for insurance. 7. Pleasure to drive due to its light, nimble design. Seats are quite comfortable (they really keep you in place. 8. Free day at the track compliments of Toyota. Negatives of the GR86 1. It’s quicker than almost all cars on the road but it’s slower than it looks. Straight line speed is slow compared to virtually all other sports cars 2. Inside there’s some obvious corner cutting by Toyota/Sub to keep price <40k. No wireless CarPlay, dim non LED bulbs, plastic, non high resolution console display. My regret with this car is I should have been patient, waited some months, bought one with the performance package. Other than that, I love driving this car.

2024 Toyota GR86 review
Most fun you can have in an affordable two door sports car. It corners and brakes like a go-cart. Acceleration is better than I expected and running through the gears (manual trans) is exhilarating. Fun, joy are words that come to mind. Always puts a smile on my face.

2025 Toyota GR86 review
This car does exactly what it’s designed to do. It’s light, agile and excellent value for the money. That said, it wasn’t the car for me. Its biggest fault is the throttle response. I noticed that when I first test drove a GR86, but I thought I could adapt. I was wrong. It was too difficult to drive smoothly at slower speeds and even with a aftermarket throttle module, I still could not get it to drive smoothly. I’ve owned over a dozen manual sports cars over the past three decades, so I know how to drive. The last one was a track spec’d Corvette Grand Sport, which was an excellent driver. Don’t be turned off by this review, just make sure the drivability matches your tastes
