2022 Toyota RAV4 review
Drove this '22 Rav4 throughout the US SW for over 3000 miles in 2 weeks without any problems and averaged 30+ mpg. Went through CO, UT, NV, CA, AZ, NM. Pleasant to drive and certainly comfortable enough. I have no complaints at the moment, and it doesn't have the CVT!

2020 Toyota Tacoma review
I have driven Toyota’s most of my adult life. I cannot say anything bad about them. They are wonderful cars, and that has been my experience. I know a reputable owner of a used car dealership and he said that at my age (68), if I buy a Toyota pickup they will drive my family to my funeral in it. He said that it will outlast me, and I believe him! I just bought the Tacoma, and it runs great, but it only had 13,000 miles on it! They all run good when they’re new, but judging from past experience, it will be great also.

2024 Toyota Tundra review
This is my fifth tundra and it is by far the most comfortable and best driving one yet! I love all the new safety features and small changes they’ve made like the easy to drop Tailgate. But by far the best part of this most recent buying experience was the dealership. 802 Toyota was the best experience I’ve ever had buying a new car. Almost too fast! 10 days from start to delivery; Good customer service, nice people! Oh wait, that's a 15 word MINIMUM... now I feel silly trying to cram all the good details into such a short statement. (facepalm) The entire experience was painless and fast, as noted; when my credit union balked at working with them they found me a competitive rate with someone who WOULD. They got documents to me quickly, and the car... well, through no fault of his, Steven LeSueur missed that the transporter picked the car up (on memorial day??) so I only got 24 hours notice that it was showing up. I was so used to those things taking forever I was off-balance for a few hours, but hey, that's what I consider a high quality problem. Speaking of which, the shipping cost was very reasonable, especially considering I saved about 6K getting the car there instead of locally. They gave me a great deal on EXACTLY the car I would have purchased if new, and getting that 4K tax credit up front made my life simpler and the loan even smaller than I was prepared to deal with. What's funny is my daughter and many friends live in Phoenix, so they now have a bit of a Northern CA booster with the locals. Oh, and there was no trade-in, so don't take the low rating as a slam; I just had no experience with it here. :-D
2021 Toyota Highlander review
My 2021 highlander L I paid $27k @ 44k miles ih for it after 2 years taking it through ell & adding 50k miles (92k miles currently) im impressed by its 300 hp 3.4L engine but learned how important changing all fluild begor it starts to making noise and problems. I think as long as you change all fluids at by or before 90 k miles as milage it will continue to goFor 300,000 miles crossed finger . The dealer offered me 19k to trade in at this stage. Toyota value unmatched. I want the new twin turbo 3.5 they just added

2024 Toyota RAV4 Prime review
After years of diesel Mercedes use, this plug-in hybrid rav4 is mind blowing in comparison. 93mpg after 13,700 miles. I only put premium fuel in this car because i never know when i'll use the ice engine. 500 highway miles range with a full tank.

2014 Toyota Prius review
The one weak point is that there is a design defect. The exhaust manifold leading to cylinders tends to get clogged up. Must be cleaned every 60 k miles (200 dollar job) to avoid head gasket replacement. Otherwise should run forever. 250 k miles and doesn't use drop of oil. 2014 is known to be vintage year, with all kinks worked out of generation 3 - except for aforementioned. Besides being ultra reliable, the car is simply the best use of space and readily available fuel possible. Enormous cargo space with back seats down. Up, passengers have room almost equivalent to full-size sedan. Simply best car ever made. Just look out for traction battery expense. But even that can be mitigated using rebuilt batteries and independent shops.

2023 Toyota Prius review
I just retired and got my XLE 7 months ago. I was lucky to get it. Someone else decided to pass on it. I have some upgrades like the 12 inch screen and glass top. I would have never purchased a Pruis before this new model. So far, I absolutely love it. I don’t drive it like a sports car, so I am getting 53.5 to 54,5 mpg. It is amazing to spend $12 dollars on gas every two weeks instead of $30 to $40 every week like I use to. I really love the design. I have cutting edge silver. It isn’t quite as luxurious as other cars I have had but that wasn’t why I purchased it. I think it can last me the rest of my life.

2026 Toyota GR86 review
The GR86, like all cars, has its positive and negatives. Background: I bought a 2026 Premium GR86 auto (despite 75% of me favoring the manual). Out the door was a bit more than 40k. GR86s are rare. It’ll be tough to get a ‘deal’ due to how few they’ll be. Expect you may have to buy one that is still in transit to the dealership. Positives of the GR86: 1. IMO, from the outside, one of the best looking sports cars on the road. 2. Exclusivity, people ask what is my car. When I say GR86, common answer “huh, I’ve never heard of it”. You’ll see very few on the road. 3. Handles superbly. Hugs turns as well as any dealership sold car I’ve driven 4. For how small it is and lower the back seat, surprising truck space (for its size) 5. Inside feel to it is combo of modern day and the classic old roadster. 6, it’s not a real 4 seater but it qualifies as a 4 seater for insurance. 7. Pleasure to drive due to its light, nimble design. Seats are quite comfortable (they really keep you in place. 8. Free day at the track compliments of Toyota. Negatives of the GR86 1. It’s quicker than almost all cars on the road but it’s slower than it looks. Straight line speed is slow compared to virtually all other sports cars 2. Inside there’s some obvious corner cutting by Toyota/Sub to keep price <40k. No wireless CarPlay, dim non LED bulbs, plastic, non high resolution console display. My regret with this car is I should have been patient, waited some months, bought one with the performance package. Other than that, I love driving this car.
