2024 Toyota Grand Highlander review
This car is great for someone who has a small sized family. We enjoy the comfort of a large driver seat and captains chairs in the center. We can get a little stuffy in the back but my partner is almost 6 feet tall and most of his family is big too so that’s the only downside. Other than that i love it.

2015 Toyota Land Cruiser review
Primary use for this car: I drive about 30K miles per year from OK to Colorado. This vehicle is comfortable on long trips with kids as well as one of the most capable off-road vehicles ever made. The exterior could be considered a bit outdated or plain, but I love it. There’s nothing else that I’d rather be drive whether it’s on a mountain trail or headed down the turnpike I know that we’ll make it there safe and comfortable.

2025 Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid review
Grand Highlander Hybrid Limited in Windchill Pearl Nightshade Edition is a super car. Layout, engineering, finish out all top notch. I’m glad I got one of the first 2025s in the Nightshade. Can’t recommend letting Toyota Mfg do the blackout over add on at distributor level. There is no comparison.

Trevor was very pleasant....he was very helpful. The only mark against them in my book...was I made the deal on Saturday gave them till Friday at 2 to have the car prepped and paperwork done. The car was ready but the paperwork was not.. appointment was at 2 didn't see anyone till 2:45 from finance... another 15 minutes later finally sat down with him. (Mind you no trade in or financing needed) 6 signatures later everything done in 5 minutes after all the updates turned down ... finally completed...I will definitely recommend them but keeping us sitting for an hour was a bit unreasonable.

2023 Toyota Venza review
5 months and about 4,500 miles on the car so far. Decent gas mileage from 35 to 41 mpg. The 41 numbers came when it was new and summertime. Haven't gotten over 38 in the winter. Comfortable inside. I would like to have more knobs and buttons and less touch screen. Software is occasionally glitchy on the touchscreen. I wish the car would go more than 3 or 4 blocks in electric mode. I would prefer a hybrid that goes 20 miles or so on electric power but the Venza is okay. If you go more than about 15 mph, the EV mode turns off. Plenty of headroom inside but I have to duck down a lot to get into the driver's seat and I am a short person. So far the mpg are the same no matter if I drive 55 or 70. That's unusual in my experience.

2024 Toyota Grand Highlander review
I am super pleased, I have this car. It makes me super excited and just gives me the feel of being wealthy and grand like my GrandHighlander. It gives me peace of mind when am driving it, no matter the climatic conditions. I drove it during the enormous snow that happened in 2024 in Maryland and it was just marvelous. I got it brand new and has put nearly 15k mileage on it yet it still feels brand new. Though there’s been some recalls on it, which has been fixed by Toyota free of charge but I’ve never had any issues driving it. It’s a great upgrade from the previous sedan car I had. It is truly an amazing luxury car without the luxury price. I wholeheartedly recommend this car. I particularly liked the fact that it is roomy and has cargo room too while being a beautiful SUV with the strength of a Truck.

2026 Toyota bZ review
Toyota decided to get serious with their electric compact suv over their earlier version. Lowered the price making it competitive with all others in this class. Also making it now competitive is the increase in driving range, the XLE AWD model gets a significant boost with a 288 mile range. In addition the horsepower on the XLE AWD increased to 338 providing 0-60 in the middle 4 second range… that’s head snapping power. Also, major improvements were addressed to the charging system… now able to charge significantly faster and it comes using the NACS (North American Charging Standard) outlet connection for faster charging ( (originally called the Tesla charging connection). I personally enjoy driving the bZ around town but also on major roads. It runs quietly as an electric should but also isolates road noise. The instrument panel is different but coming from driving my plug in hybrid Prius Prime I’m used to different. I trust Toyota overall quality over all other manufacturers whether the vehicle is a traditional combustible gas engine or now electric.

2017 Toyota Highlander review
I've always loved the look and feel of a Toyota Highlander. But I never thought I could afford one. I found my Highlander at Alton Toyota, Alton, Il. and fell in love. I asked about the price and I couldn't believe it was right in my price range. I test drove it and it was love at first drive. Everyone from the Sales-person, finance and even the Technicians. were friendly, helpful and answered all my questions. They even went above and beyond making sure I got the best loan that fit me. I love my highlander and just got back from Myrtle Beach SC, driving round trip. It is so fun to drive and all the room is unbelievable. I highly recommend both the highlander and Alton Toyota dealership!

2023 Toyota RAV4 review
Great Car! I bought used only 10,000 miles. Lots of room inside, easy to keep clean, and great turning radius - barely use one hand to turn completely around. Buying a new vehicle can feel like walking into a room where everyone knows the rules except you. Handy Toyota was an unknown among the dealerships we had considered—some nearby, others far enough away to make us question whether the drive would be worthwhile. We arrived carrying the usual mixture of anticipation and caution, hoping for the right truck but watching for pressure, hidden turns, or the moment when the experience might become more about the sale than the customer. Jamie, the sales manager, listened when I asked him to recommend a good salesperson and introduced us to Jessie Turner. Jessie was knowledgeable and personable, although initially a little hard to read—which left me wondering how the experience would unfold. Then he bought me a Coke, listened closely to how I described the vehicle I wanted, and led us to a 2026 Toyota Tacoma SR5 4x4 that met the expectations I had brought through the door. He did not try to steer us toward something we had not asked for. He simply paid attention. The next surprise came when we sat down with Samantha in finance. She was phenomenal. Every figure was handled meticulously, every detail explained thoroughly, and every question given room to breathe. There was no tightening pressure across the desk, no games with the numbers, and no sense that we were being hurried toward a signature. What is often the most intimidating part of purchasing a vehicle became one of the most reassuring. Before we left, we were given the names of the people who oversee servicing our Tacoma. The essential features were carefully demonstrated, and we were offered additional help without being overwhelmed by information we were not ready to absorb. Even as the hour grew late, Jessie, Jamie, and Samantha stayed to make certain the deal was completed properly and that we drove away satisfied—not merely processed. Yes, Handy Toyota made a sale that evening. But something more important happened. Fear gave way to relief, doubt was answered by consistency, and an unfamiliar dealership became the beginning of what we hope will be a lasting relationship. They did not simply hand us the keys to a new Tacoma. They cleared a path for trust. A path everyone desires to walk.

2023 Toyota RAV4 Prime review
We had a totally electric Mustang Mach E which we traded for this car since the range and infrastructure both were not ideal. The Toyota RAV4 Prime is the best of both worlds since it is a plug-in hybrid and is the car I should have purchased originally. It gets between 44 - 50 miles on totally electric charge (for around home) and about 500 miles on a fill up of the gas tank (hybrid used on the highway). Pricing was NOT ideal as they added a "Market Adjustment" to the price so it was above MSRP.

2018 Toyota Highlander review
The transmission failed at 112,000 miles and it costs me $8500 to repair. I expect Toyota Highlander transmission would last at least 200,000 miles but I found out that the transmission is not made in Japan like my old Highlander, but it was made in the USA. People who buy Toyota expect major components such as engine, transmission, are made in Japan with zero defects, but when major components are made in the USA, quality suffers.

Overall a great vehicle. I recommend sitting in the front passenger seat before buying. If you are 5'8" or more you will hit your head getting in and out as seat is high and can not be adjusted on the XLE model.

2024 Toyota Highlander Hybrid review
Former Toyota Sequoia owner with 250k, and still running. This 2024 HybridHighlander car has hit all the check marks: comfortable, easy to use instrument layout and technology, 35-36 mpg, impressive power for a small 4 cylinder motor. I am very pleased with this car at the 1000 mile mark. I think the price is a little high, but very satisfied.
